I'll be using gender neutral pronouns, such as 'they,their, etc,' since Sariel's gender has not been confirmed.

Just saying, sorry if this is shorter than usual, but very little is known if Sariel, since she is a PC-98 character who appears only in the first game.

1. Ok, I find it way too obvious that Toriel (Undertale) was inspired by Sariel.

(Well, Back when I actually played undertale...I kind of got tired of it after a while)

2. And...wait. Reverse the A and S... ASRIEL! OMG TOBY FOX COPIED TOUHOU HOW DARE HE...well he already told ppl that he was inspired to make Undertale by Touhou so...I guess he didn't actually steal Touhou?

3. Their age, abilities, gender, and relationships are unknown, but Sariel an Angel of Death...eerie.

4. Sariel's name means 'Command of God.'

5. They are the first character to have more than one theme, due to being in the very first Touhou game, Highly Responsive to Prayers.

6. This angel of death is also the first character to have a silhouette. Sariel appears in their second form.

7. They are one of the first characters with no headgear.

8. Sariel's background changes throughout the battle: from a starry night, to a river with two floating yin-yang orbs, to what appears to be an inferno with human arms reaching out of the ground, and a collection of orbs showing Reimu and her shrine at another point in time.
