You awake, finding Zee and Damien still asleep. You step outside of the cabin to find a few others awake at this time. Axel was doing something that looked like hunting, scary girl was peering at your female teammates through the window, and Julia was meditating in front of your cabin.

Deciding she was the most normal, you decide to approach Julia. Any connections you can make will help you.

You sit down next to her and cross your legs, a pose similar to hers.

"You're up early ," you inquire, ignoring the fact that you are too.

"Rising early is good for your health, and the energy outside is, like, good for charging yourself," Julia answers your question.

"Is that so? Well, I suppose I'm lucky to have learned," you try to humor her as much as possible. While she seems like a weak competitor, a vote is a vote no matter who it comes from.

"Maybe your wavelengths can win us the challenge today," you hope to establish a friendly connection.

"They will. My energy, like, always works," she replies and you take your leave.

Most of the campers are up by now, with the exception of Zee.

I wonder what kind of physical damage Chris will try to cause us today?

Soon enough, the alarm goes off, signaling it's challenge time.

"Hello campers, and congrats on making it to day 2. For todays challenge, I need one member of each team to sit out."

"That'll be me. There's no way I'm doing it with yesterdays challenge," Damien quickly calls out, fearful of what is coming.

"Hold it," Chris begins, "you don't get to choose. It will be randomly selected by me."

He pulls a name out of two buckets, as everyone leans in closer, hoping to be the one.

"For the bears, Emma will sit out this challenge, and for the sharks, Julia."

The two step aside when called, when suddenly, the ground seems to fall out from under them. In an instant, both girls are gone while you hear the echoes of their screams.

"Where did they go?" Nichelle asks, her voice a bit shaky in fear for the girls.

Chris chuckles.

"Wouldn't you like to know? For your challenge, your job is to find them. The first team to find their team mate is safe, and will enjoy a night at the luxury cabin hidden on the island. Now go!"

Everyone bolts off in random directions, with no guidance on the correct way.

"You better hurry, I have no idea if they ended up somewhere safe or not," Chris laughs again.

In your direction, you notice a few of the other team, as well as Zee and Priya are headed in a similar way as you.

"They're screams faded away, if they were close by, we should still hear them," Priya calls out to you and Zee.

After watching Priya since the start of camp, you can tell she will be good competition. She's definately a more valuable teammate than influencer girl or the scaredy cat. It may be beneficial to keep her around until the merge, but it's not too early to craft a way to get her eliminated.

You consider the situation and her words, and try to think of somewhere Chris would want to send them.

An idea suddenly pops into your head.

"This way," you call out to your team.

As for the other team, Bowie, Wayne and Raj are currently headed toward the cliff across the island.

Bowie is a clever guy, but no one is too keen on that yet.

Between seemingly nosensical chatter between the hockey players, Bowie thinks strategy.

—Confessional—

"I gotta win this challenge quickly. The cabin might have some good food." -Chase

"The other team doesn't seem to be all that, but there are a few stars twinkling. Priya seems to be their strongest player, but Y/N also seems pretty sneaky. Everybody knows only one of the villains can be successful." - Bowie

MK, finding herself alone, sneaks off to the confessional.

Her newly "found" phone is perfect for gathering data. She downloads the confessionals, as well as traces the wire for the camera.

This is perfect. If I can get the camera feed, I can see everything happening on the island and maybe find Emma's location.

MK continues to sneak off on her own, following the wire.

You arrive to your destination with Zee and Priya in tow.

"Right, the cliff from the first episode of Total Drama! It's dangerous and iconic," Priya indirectly praises you.

"Zee, check around the shore. Priya, head to the top and use the height to look around. I will search the forest nearby," you call out.

Neither of them disagree, so your search begins. You head into the trees for about 2 minutes before you hear a muffled sound.

Maybe it's Julia!

You approach the source of the sound carefully, when a giant bird suddenly pops out of a bush. One roar is all you need to haul it in the other direction.

In what seems like a pitch black void, two voices converse.

"Where are we?" Emma calls out to her partner in capture.

"I have nooo idea," Julia answers.

"Why do you sound so calm?" Emma yells, losing more of her composure each second.

"It's important to stay calm. I'm manifesting a positive outcome and meditating to release all of the negative energy," Julia responds.

—Confessional—

"Like I'd ever let anyone see me panicking. So not good for my image." - Julia

Reaching the edge of the trees, appearing to have lost the bird, you sigh a deep breath.

Once you recover, you look up to see Damien hiding behind a tree. He makes eye contact with you as you raise a eyebrow toward the boy.

"Don't look at me like that man! This island is a death trap," he is quick to defend his actions.

"Nevermind that, do you have any clue where Julia might be?" You ask.

"Actually, I might. When they fell, the sound of them screaming seemed to have the Doppler effect, suggesting they passed under us and headed across the island from where they fell," Damien reveals his findings.

"Wow, insightful. Let's get moving," you command and the two of you head toward the other side of the island.

You pass through the trees until a building, you've never seen before appears in a clearing up ahead.

With a bit of force, you knock the door, greeted by the face of Chris.

"Y/N! Damien! Congrats on being the first to arrive,"

"Where is she," you ask, knowing you won't get a good answer. It's took dark to see any further into the building.

"You found the right spot, and found part two of the challenge. Those two were being noisy, so I made sure they couldn't be heard by any of you."

"What do you mean by that," Damien asks, earning a smirk from Chris.

"You can find out by moving further in. However, they are requiring me to tell you that the room is armed with a laser grid. One wrong step and this building will slowly ignite after detecting you."

"WHAT," Damien yells out, "There's no way this is legal!"

"Who cares," Chris rolls his eyes.

You put your hand on Damien's shoulder to try to level his head.

"We need a plan. Any wrong moves and we are in trouble."

He knods in acknowledgement, and you exit the building for now.

After finding the camera feed, MK has been watching all the action unfold.

"Great! Northwest part of the island," she says her findings out loud, while packing up her equipment.

She takes off on the direction of the old shack.

After a minute or two, she runs into Chase.

"Hey stuntdouble, this way," she guides him.

"Okay cool," he follows without asking any questions.

The two arrive at the door and get the same explanation Chris gave to you and Damien.

"I can totally do this! I've swan dived through rings of fire, so I can totally avoid some lazers," Chase says, very confident in himself.

"You can see those, nitwit," MK argues, but with little concern for her words, Chase jumps into action and springs off of his hands to jump over the lazers he can't see.

As he flips through the air, MK braces herself to see a red line appear, signaling that they're running out of time, but when his feet touch the ground, everything appears to be okay.

"See, I told y-" Chase starts to brag, until a bright red light appears on his forehead.

"Not good dude. The building will be engulfed in flames in 5 minutes. Better get moving if you want to see your girlfriend again," Chris reveals.

"Emma? Oh crap, she's going to be so mad," Chase realizes which teammate is missing.

"That's what your worried about," MK asks in disbelief. The two start frantically searching for the girls before they are in danger.

"Anyways, if we can find something to reflect the lazers, they can't detect us when we pass them," Damien explains his idea for saving the girls.

"That's a good idea man," you praise with a relaxed smirk on your face, confident that a win is within reach.

Your face drops, as you see a grey cloud rising a little bit away.

"Hey, wasn't that where we came from?" You look to Damien, who is silenced when the realization hits him.

"We gotta go man," he panics as you take off towards the shack.

You break through the door once again, not finding Chris, but rather MK and Chase slumped to the ground.

"They inhaled too much smoke. I'll take them outside, you find Julia and Emma," Damien says with a determined look in his eye.

"Right," you answer as you take off into the smoke and embers.

The left side of the building is significantly more burnt than the right, so if they are over there, time is running out. You take a deep breath and head through a door way to the left. The fire has lit up the building a bit more. You can make out the shape of two tube like objects across the room. You rush over, not minding the burns on your arms as you head straight into the heat. You punch through the tubes and find both of the girls, Emma fainted from the situation, and Julia cool as a cucumber. You wrap your arm around Emma and sling Julia over your shoulder and run out of the building.

Everyone had gathered, seeing the smoke rising from everywhere on the island.
You set the girls down, and everyone freaks out before you can rest.

"The sharks take the victory. Bears, you're sending someone home tonight," Chris declares you the winner.

You release the breath you've been holding.

"Thank you Y/N, I appreciate your hard work and willpower," Julia thanks you, still way calmer than she should be.

"Girl, I thought you were dead," Bowie approaches Emma as she starts to wake up.

"Chris, what the hell?" Emma's anger is directed with the first words out of her mouth.

"You lived, didn't you," Chris replies as if nothing is wrong.

"Unfortunately," Scary Girl answers for Emma, her scary side shining through.

Once the girls are revealed as safe, they all start to notice your burns.

"Oh no," Julia frets, "since you helped me, let me take care of that."

After a quick walk to the cabins, she reveals a cream she had with her.

"This is made from essential oils, totally great for your skin, and good for the mind. The healing powers of nature slays," she explains to you.

You ignore how questionable that sounds to you, appreciate of the gesture. She wraps a cloth around your biceps, and with a silent smile and a slight red hue to her face, she walks out of the cabin.

You catch word that Emma convinced the other team to vote off Chase. He was the reason the building caught on fire after all.

Your team gathers for your reward, a cabin that's not comparable to yours. There is air conditioning, good food, and beds so quality that you could pass out right away.

Priya and Millie are off chatting about something you can't make out. Zee is chilling on the counter, sipping a cold soft drink. Damien is taking a nice shower, trying to relax after the events of today. Julia, with somehow another phone, seems to be sending a message out to her followers. Lauren is no where to be found, but maybe it's better that way.

You head towards the room you will be sleeping in for the night, cleaned up and ready for a rest.

Chases gets chased off the island after his poor display of skill. Y/N, villian gone good, saves the damsels in distress. Is this an act of strategy, or an act of heroism? MK has the tea, but will it be spilled? Who will be endangered next? Find out all this and more next time on
