"Cale Henituse . . . !!"

White Star angrily shouted who had just broken out from the golden plaque and clutched his chest. He glares at Cale but groans in pain when he was attacked by the red light of the god of despair.

Cale smirks and thought about how weak White Star is today. He's not in his perfect condition because of what had happened before he got sealed in the golden plaque and was suddenly attacked by the god of despair after Cale forcibly released him. Cale felt like it's going to be easy to kill him because he is in perfect condition and he had fought the perfect White Star in the illusion from the temple of Sealed God.

With the help of the guide, Drew Thames, from the red book, Cale could see the true state of the White Star. As his eyes shone that turned red brightly, the red leaves wrapped around Cale and the red book pages unfolded noisily as the pages quickly turned. The red leaves surrounded Cale.

Through the fluttering red leaves, Cale could see the "annual rings" drawn on the body of White Star. Countless rings can be seen in different types. Cale held back his shock and thought about White Star's time in various forms as he reincarnated through different bodies.

Even if there are so many rings, Cale's bright red eyes catch the sight of the one large ring. The rings are in line and create one large ring. Cale thought that is the part he should stab White Star.

As Cale observed it, Cale thought about how disgusting and scary the curse that was bestowed to White Star was. A curse that caused him to lose something precious to him. A curse that can make anyone lose their sanity.

"You. . . !!" White Star didn't just stand there and attack Cale using his Sword of Disasters. Cale retaliated by using his whirlwind to counter it. It was easily deflected and White Star staggered when holding the sword.

White Star is trying to calm himself as he looked at Cale Henituse's eyes that turned red, he unknowingly felt shivers through his spine. Cale suddenly attacked White Star using the whirlwind and White Star cussed as he retaliate with the red boomerang leaped out of the fire in his sword where you can feel its scorching heat and flew towards Cale.

Walls of wind are coming from all directions, trying to trap Cale like a mouse. Cale thought about what is happening now is just like how he expected on going to happen. Super Rock keeps reminding him about his situation and Cale is very aware that it's dangerous, that's why he recorded the annual rings in his mind.

Cale raised the dagger and stabbed himself, in his chest with a dagger that World Tree gave to him. The dagger which had reached his heart was immediately pulled out. The dagger is brightly shining with his blood.

Cale used his Instant. The red book stopped with its turning pages and fell on the floor. The red leaves that were surrounding Cale disappeared and also the whirlwind.

Numerous cuts appeared in his hand which was holding the dagger and the skin of his legs that took a step forward towards White Star. Blood keeps gushing out in his chest that was stabbed by a dagger. Clopeh who was watching this scene can't speak at all.

Cale's sight is focused on the largest ring drawn on White Star's body. That largest ring can be seen on the right collarbone of White Star. Cale thrust the dagger with his shining blood dipped into his right collarbone.

At that moment, White Star felt confused about what is happening. But,

"Argh . . ." A groan came from his mouth and thought about if he is going to die.

"No! No! No!" White Star doesn't want to believe it. White Star stared at Cale Henituse and can hear what is he saying.

"It's over."

White Star worked hard for the past reincarnations and it will only end here? To be defeated like him, Cale Henituse, who always makes a way to destroy his plans? White Star doesn't want to end it here and even if he dies here, he will make sure that he and Cale Henituse will meet again without fail.

White Star's resolve to kill Cale Henituse is stronger. If he is going to die here, he will drag Cale Henituse with him. White Star quickly looks for his Sword of Disaster and ignites the fire of the sword. He's getting weak because of the dagger but he needs to kill Cale Henituse first. Before Cale Henituse could react, White Star's sword of disasters penetrates Cale Henituse's heart deeply until it reaches his back. White Star immediately pulled it out and the sword clangs as it fell on the floor.

White Star doesn't have energy left and puts his forehead on Cale's shoulder who was currently on the floor and clutching in his chest. Cale couldn't hear the voices of the ancient powers but he can hear what the White Star said to him.

(A/N: Let's just say Cale let down his guard for a minute and his regeneration stopped because of how deep the sword penetrates his body and it even reached the back of his body and he still hadn't had the traces of immortality because he died along with the White Star before he could even have it and died lol because of it for, you know, the ✨ plot✨)

"I-I'll drag you with me, Cale . . . I'll make sure we will meet again without fail." he chuckles before he completely turned into a bag of dust.

Cale let out a scoff and couldn't believe that White Star still had the strength to kill him. Cale could hear someone banging or ruining the temple. Cale could also hear people screaming his name. Cale couldn't even say his goodbye. Cale thought about how bastard White Star is.

Cale forgot to put coins in his children's piggy bank. Cale looked up and heaved a sigh. Why did he work all of those troubles to make sure he's going to have his slacker life when he's dying here? Cale wants to cry in frustration and disbelief. He still has to do to his companions and family but he guesses it's too late.

"CALE-NIM!"

"DONGSAENG!"

"YOU! UNLUCKY BASTARD!"

"CALE! HUMAN! WEAK HUMAN! I'M GOING TO DESTROY THIS WORLD! WAKE UP, HUMAN!"

Cale knew he died there but why he can feel his hands touching some hard rock? Cale blinked and sits on the ground. He looked at his surroundings.

"Where am I. . . ? Don't tell me, I'm in another world again? Which god is it? Fuck this." Cale grumbles and cussed under his breath. Cale is already tired of all the bullshits that happened before and now this?

Cale narrows his eyes when he suddenly saw a pink light appears. Cale looked back when he heard an unfamiliar voice.

"My, my, it's been a while since there's been a visitor like you." Cale furrowed his eyebrows when he sees an appearance reminiscent of a white rabbit because of his long ears. Its face is featureless except for a black, slit-like structure mouth. Cale thought about how creepy this creature is. What world did he transport?

"Who are you?" Cale nonchalantly asks.

"Whoa, whoa, don't need to be so serious, young man!" the weird-looking creature friendly said. Cale frowns because he had a bad feeling of what will happen later.

"It's been a while since a visitor has opened the gate by himself." Cale deeply frowns at what information ingested in his mind. Opened the gate by himself? When did he do that? Is this weird-looking creature is serious or is he joking with him? He just woke up then gets greeted by a scary rabbit.

"Welcome to the tower, young man." Tower? What Tower? Is he inside a Tower? Why is he here? Cale hates how clueless he is now. He needs to gather information about this fucking world.

"My name is Headon. I'm the guardian of the first floor of the tower. What's your name, young man?" The first floor of the tower? How many floors does this tower have? Guardian? The one who rules over the floor?

"Cale Henituse, that's my name." Cale thought if he has grown attached to this name? Cale wondered if his family is okay.

"Cale Henituse?" Headon racked his head to remember if there's such a family who has the same surname as this man but he really can't think of anything. Headon thought if he's a member of royalty because of how regal he looked.

"I'll call you Cale. So, Mr. Cale, how did you end up here?" Headon asks as he swirls a long yellow stick with two green balls at each end in his hand.

"It's none of your business of how did I get here." Cale also wants to know how he managed to get here.

"What a rude young man." Cale thought of who is he calling rude.

"Then, what do you desire, a young man for you to come here? Are you looking for wealth? Immortality? Absolute power? Magical abilities or mysteries? Climb up the tower. All the truth,
glory, and happiness of the world are all up there." Headon said as he raised his long yellow stick with two green balls at each end.

"Such bullshit." Cale stoically said. Who would believe some kind of crap like that? It's fucking suspicious.

". . . What?" was only Headon said. Headon is kind of shocked to get a response like that when someone even begged him to make her enter the tower for it is her dream.

"The tower can make your desire come true if you climb on the top of the tower. Who doesn't want their desire come true?" Cale contemplates. Cale thought how he really wanted to get his slacker life but still didn't get it. He wondered if this is a chance to make it come true?

"Everyone has their desire hidden in their heart. Tell me, young man, what do you desire?"

"I want my slacker life."

". . . What?" Headon is dumbfounded.
