Chapter 7
Derek POV
Isaac stopped struggling as he slowly passed out. I glared at Aiden. 

"I'm sorry I couldn't think of anything else plus it stopped him, didn't it?" He said. Helping me slowly lower Isaac to the ground. I rolled my eyes at him and turned to face the man on the other side of us. 

"What did you do? You let all of those people become cranks just so you could live longer" Gally said. 

"Gally you really didn't think I would help you the first thing I told you was not to trust people out here" Lawrence said.

Gally started to walk away the rest of us followed after I hauled Isaac up and over my shoulder. I laid Isaac across the backseat and Malia sat there with him to make sure he didn't get jostled around too much. Aiden got into the front seat. We drove down the road into the broken gates. I looked in the rearview mirror and I saw Lawercne smirking at us. 

We pulled into the middle of town where the most damage was done we stopped. Leaving Isaac in the car we got out to investigate. There were a few letters on the ground I saw a W and a D. 

"This was WCKD's main headquarters, it's also where we thought Janson was killed but I guess we were wrong" Gally said. 

"You guess you were, no you 100% were wrong" Malia said. Gally shrugged his shoulders saying something about the building falling on him and Stiles said he was attacked by cranks and that he shouldn't be alive. 

We found some kind of vault that was still mostly intact but it was sitting up on its back, the door wide open because of someone cutting the hinges.

"This is where Lawernece got the serum for himself," Frypan said. Aiden was looking around the place he jumped back as he pulled on something only to be met with the sight of a severed arm. Aiden dropped the arm and ran towards us with a disgusted look and tried to use his shirt to clean off his hand. 

I smirked as Malia busted out laughing. Aiden gave the werecoyote a weird look. 

"What where I come from that's a load off on the hunting" She said as Aiden, frypan, and Gally gagged. We continued to look around and Frypan managed to find a computer that still worked but had the defence systems down. He sighed. 

"They took them back to where we first entered the scorch," He said. 

Malia groaned "You mean we were that close and we had to go past them" She complained. I shook my head understanding what he meant from the description the group had given us of their time with WCKD. 

"No Malia when they first entered the scorch, not us, we're going to where they were first taken after the maze" I told her. Her mouth made a little 'O' when she finally understood. Then we heard this awful screech. It was from something that wasn't human but had a human body; a crank. I covered my ears trying to block out the sound. I turned around trying to figure out where it came from. 

I saw the cars were being surrounded by things that looked just like Lawrence but they had completely lost their humanity. They surrounded the car Isaac was in pounding and scratching at the windows. I was gonna try and see if I could help but got pulled back. 

"We can't fight these things with teeth and claws, remember?" Aiden said. I rolled my eyes. I got into a firing stance as one of the car windows shattered. Isaac screamed as the cranks reached their arms inside the window. Multiple were clustered around the one window trying to get at him. Others went around and surrounded the car trying to break even more of the windows. I heard a few cracks. I fired once taking down the crank that sat on the hood. That got the attention of a few of them but a few was better than nothing. Gally and Fry fired multiple shots in succession. Aiden and Malia followed our lead. More cranks turned their attention to us. They tried to run but were shot down.

We continued firing as the cranks came closer soon the only two left with amo was Gally and Malia. I heard something I never wanna hear again. A member of my pack screamed in pain and out of fear. I looked at the car seeing two cranks attempting to drag Isaac out. He had cuts from the broken glass and cuts on his legs as the two stuck their nails in to drag him out. Malia tossed her weapon to Fry. Aiden and I took off as two shots were fired. The cranks fell not long after the sounds went off. I ran up to Isaac and tried to grab him and slowly help him down. He whimpered and tried to back away getting more glass stuck in his back. He fell from the window of the car to the ground landing with a thud. He backed the best he could with the scratches on his legs and the glass sticking out of him. He isn't healing. I knew his back wouldn't because we needed to get the glass out but his legs were just scratches, deep scratches but still they should be healing. 

"Isaac look at me" I said sternly as Aiden grabbed his hand slowly pulling him away from the car.
"You're not there in the basement, the freezer it's not there, your dad is gone, you just need to focus on my voice" I said, talking him out of the flashback. Slowly he came around looking at me. He nodded showing he was okay. Gally, Fry and Malia came up to us. 

I worked with Adiden and Malia to get the glass out of him watching as their spots healed. His legs still weren't healing. Malia decided she would be more help if she went to scout around so that's what she did. She was going out to make sure there were no more cranks close by and the ones she found she killed before they could get to us, well that's what she told us that she was going to do.

Fry came over and began to look at the scratches on his legs. He mumbled about how it looks like what happened with Winston.

"He's been infected. We need to get to Stiles, he has the cure and I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping Isaac, and the sooner the better '' Fry said, holding a hand out for me to take so I could stand. I nodded and helped Get Isaac up Malia and Aiden took one arm each and helped him walk. We all found a new van that was made for the sand. We piled in and drove off. Frypan drives as he's the only one who knows exactly where we're going. 

Newt POV
After being blinded by bright lights we were pushed down and strapped to tables no matter how much struggling we did it wasn't doing anything. Teresa walked in then behind her were more guards pushing in all the blood they had taken from us the day prior.She had some smirk on her face. 

Stiles yelled then "I THOUGHT THIS WAS ABOUT FINDING A CURE YOU FOUND IT NOW LET US GO" he screamed. 

"I can't do that we may have found a cure but the only way to make it is you and the other two was Janson's idea which was actually pretty good" Teresa said as she went on with making cure from all three of the really big samples they took from us. 

Janson stepped in through the room. He already looked better. 

"You see we want to be able to choose who clears the virus and who doesn't," he said.
My mouth hung open after his statements. That's awful what kind of person would do that.
Minho struggled in his restraints. 

"Don't bother we picked up a few pointers from the five point restraint they use where it is they use it again Thomas I've heard you're familiar with it." Janson taunted.

Thomas looked down a guilty look on his face. I'm confused now what does he mean this restraint is familiar. 

"It's used in Eichen House, the mental institution and I know because I was in there for a while," Thomas said before either of us could ask. Janson smirked wickedly. 

"You know Thomas you did worse things than we did you killed people for fun you hurt people just so they would be in pain. When you think about it that way WCKD hasn't done anything too bad" Ratman said. 

Thomas looked away from the man. I grew even more shocked as I listened. There's no way Stiles would do that.

"You dumb shank stop spreading lies about him!!" Minho yelled. 

Janson smirked again, a psychotic smirk I might add. 

"Oh but you see it's not a lie he almost killed Isaac Lahey with a cut wire and water" he continued. I looked over and saw tears running down Stiles' face. He looked so guilty that I knew everything Ratman said was true but he was leaving a part out. Stiles didn't do this freely he was forced to. 

Minho said something then "The nogitsune" Thomas didn't say anything but just nodded.
Minho looked at me explaining "it's a Japanese dark spirit that feeds off of chaos and strife, pain" Minho said 

"You were possessed, it wasn't your fault it's not like you wanted to do those things" I said. Thomas gave me a grateful look. Ratman scowled at us. His attempts to make himself look good didn't work. He stormed over to where Teresa was working, grabbed three syringes and went to Stiles shoving one in his arm. He went to the other side of me and did the same thing to Minho. Finally he stuck me with the last one. I felt myself slip quickly into unconsciousness as Rat man said "Prepare for the mental test hook them up to the simulators"

Lydia POV
Attacks had been happening more frequently. Plus there was also Kate coming back to life as a were-jaguar looking for Derek. I went to school thinking of ways that we could handle this. Every time we turned around someone else was looking to kill us. 

Liam had become a regular person who was around. He was still learning control so we had to keep a close eye on him but he was getting better. I guess he had Stiles explain everything so he knew what was going on. It was really quiet around town with half of our group missing. I was with Kira driving around when I got this feeling. I pulled into a gas station and told Kira to pick a card and pump gas. I walked towards the building and around finding myself in front of the bathroom door. 

I slowly pushed open the door and saw a body face down on the floor. It was so badly clawed that you couldn't recognize the face. Kira followed me in. She gasped as she saw what had happened. I pulled out my phone calling Scott. 

"Hello," He said into the phone. 

"Scott I found something Kate was here but I think she lost control because there's a body that's been clawed and I don't think any of you did it" I explained he asked for pictures so opened my camera and sent him pictures. 

"I think that's what happens when she looses control she didn't have a choice she may be a psycho murder but this one was just loss of control" Scott said.

"I don't know but I'm doing advanced biology and there's parts of human anatomy I don't even know on these walls" I said backing out of the room with Kira following. 

We decided that we should call the sheriff and let him deal with the body. The rest of us could do nothing but wait for another attack of the assassins.
