Nuwa has been friends with the Turtles for a while and Mikey seems to be liking her the most out of all four, she'd show him bending techniques and some tricks of her own

One day, Nuwa was with Splinter in the dojo, they sat under the tree while meditating

Splinter sat on his knees while Nuwa had her legs crossed

As they began to enter their minds, they were interrupted by a loud scream that seems to be Donnie's

"GET HIM OFF ME! GET HIM OFF ME!"

"He better has a good reason to scream like a banshee" Nuwa thought irritated as she and Splinter got out of their meditation and walked out

They were greeted by a giant mutant alligator passed out on the floor with the Turtles standing around him

"What is all this commotion?!" Splinter demanded while Nuwa stared at the mutant alligator with wide eyes

"Sensei, Mikey made us bring a mutant back to the lair and it attacked us!" Raph replied angrily as he pointed at Mikey

"It needs our help!" Mikey replied

"It's a dangerous monster!" Raph argued

"Raphael! There is no monster more dangerous than a lack of compassion" Splinter spoke as he looked down at the mutant that made a low growling noise

"My mistake" Splinter apologized

"We're doing to him what everyone does to us. Judging him by his looks" Mikey said quite logically while Donnie had freed himself from the mutant's paw that held his head

"And the fact that he had me BY THE FACE, MIKEY!" Donnie screamed as he held his head

"But he was fighting the Kraang, master Splinter. It's like you always say. 'The enemy of my enemy is my bro'" Mikey smiled

"That is not exactly what I've said. But what's this about the Kraang?" Splinter asked as Nuwa cleared her throat

"I might've missed something important, but who and what are the Kraang?" Nuwa asked

"Alien brain creatures from another dimension. I'll explain it to you later" Donnie replied as he rubbed his head as Nuwa gave him a confused and disgusted look

"They were trying to force him to tell them where they could find some... power cell" Leo replied to Splinter

"And he refused to tell?" Splinter asked

"Yeah. They were all like 'zapp, zapp, zapp'. And he was like 'RRAAAWWW NEVER!'" Mikey replied as he intimidated the Kraang and the mutant

"Hmm, I see. You made a wise decision, Michelangelo" Splinter replied

"Huh?" Everyone blinked in confusion

"Yes. I never thought I'd hear myself say that either" Splinter agreed as he placed his paw on the mutant's chest were there was a huge scar

"His scars run deep, but they protect a genuine heart. When he awakens, Michelangelo, you must find a way to befriend him" Splinter suggested

"No problemo!" Mikey chimed while holding his thumbs up and pulled Nuwa's arm and looked at her with puppy eyes

"Will you stay with me? I know you and him will get along just fine" Mikey asked as Nuwa couldn't resist those puppy eyes and smiled

"Ok, I'll stay" Nuwa replied as he huge grin crossed Mikey's face

"We need to learn what he knows about the Kraang. In the meantime, you three try to find this power cell, before the Kraang can" Splinter spoke

"But we're still chaining him up, right?" Donnie asked as he tended up and felt paranoid

"Of course. I'm compassionate, not insane" Splinter agreed

After Leo, Raph and Donnie left to look for the power cell while Nuwa and Mikey were gonna watch the mutant that is now chained up

They both didn't wanted this, but it was for their own safety

Nuwa sat in front of the gator at a safe distance while watching him

Soon, the alligator woke up while lying on his belly

"Where am I?" He asked himself with a low, raspy voice

He tried to pull his arm, but was being held by the chains as he immediately stood up and roared while pulling on the chains

"Well, look who's awake" Mikey greeted as he held a soup pan while Nuwa stood up from her spot

The gator immediately tried to attack them, but was held back by the chains

"You! Set me free!" The gator roared

"Oh, yeah. Sorry about the chains, the guys said we had to keep you locked up or you might attack us" Mikey explained

"Who are you? What am I doing here?" The gator demanded

"I am Michelangelo and this is Nuwa" Mikey introduced themselves as he held out his hand for a handshake, but the mutant snapped his jaws instead

"My brothers and I saved you from the Kraang" Mikey explained, not knowing how much it triggered him

His eyes became white as he roared

"KRAANG!"

He pulled onto the chains while going berserk and fell to the ground as he panted

"Whoa, whoa. It's ok, you're safe. We brought you here so you could get better. And nothing will heal you faster than my world famous pizza-noodle soup" Mikey said as he held out a spoonful of orange substance while Nuwa cringed in disgust

The gator sniffed it as he ate a spoonful, he growled satisfied as he looked at Mikey who had his eyes shut

"This is the best thing... I have ever tasted" the gator said with a smile

Mikey opened his eyes as he smiled

"Really? Alright! Somebody finally likes my cooking!" Mikey chimed as he sat down, just like Nuwa and the gator while he fed him

After a while, the gator ate everything as he held the pan while Mikey held his taped-up teddy bear

"So, what's your name anyway?" Nuwa asked

"I do not have one" the gator confessed as Mikey gasped

"You don't have a name?! Ha! Well, today is your lucky day. Because I'm a genius at naming stuff" Mikey smiled as he went to work

"Let's see"

He inspected him from the outside and the inside as he was thinking hard

"Your head is kind leathery" Mikey said as he placed his hands on his head

"How about Headleather?" Mikey asked, Nuwa shook her head

"Heather?" Mikey asked, Nuwa snickered and shook her head as she knew it

"How about Leatherhead?" Nuwa suggested as Mikey gasped

"Yes! Leatherhead! Even better, Leatherhead" Mikey stated, the two looked at the gator now called Leatherhead

"Leatherhead it is, thank you" Leatherhead thanked

"No problemo, it's what I do. So I've been wanting to ask you, why did you go out crazy eyes on my brother, Donnie?" Mikey asked

"Your brother?" Leatherhead asked

"Yeah. Instead of shaking his hand, you shook his face. And most of his body" Mikey explained as Leatherhead looked guilty and ashamed

"There are times when I lose control, when I awaken, I am horrified by what I have done. A monster like me deserves to be chained" Leatherhead replied sadly as he looked down

"Or maybe you just think your a monster because everyone treats you that way" Mikey said while Nuwa placed a hand on Leatherhead's arm

"You are wise beyond your years" Leatherhead nodded

"Yeah, I get that a lot" Mikey smiled as Nuwa raised an eyebrow

"Mikey" Nuwa said as she looked at him

"Hehe, actually that's not entirely true" Mikey chuckled awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck

Mikey looked at Nuwa's right ear where there was basically nothing left of. He knew it was a wrong timing, but curiosity got the best of him

"Uh, Nuwa. Can I ask you something?" Mikey asked

"Sure" Nuwa replied as Mikey asked

"What happened to your ear?"

Nuwa didn't saw that coming as she looked down and then looked up

"Don't say it to anyone, ok?" Nuwa asked as Mikey and Leatherhead nodded

"...My father did that" Nuwa confessed as Mikey's eyes widened

"WHAT?!" He gasped as Nuwa talked really fast

"Yes. My mother died after I was born and blamed me for it and well... my own father... mutilated me" Nuwa replied slowly as she tried to hide the fact that it really hurts her

Leatherhead placed his paw on her back as she looked up to him

"We're sorry, Nuwa" Mikey apologized

"It's ok... let's just talk about something else, perhaps?" Nuwa suggested as the guys smiled and nodded

After a while, Leo, Raph and Donnie returned through the pool as Mikey approached them

"Hey guys, Leatherhead is totally off the chain" Mikey told them simply as they all got shocked

"You mean you set him free?!" Raph gasped as he took out his sais

"What? No. 'Off the chain' means he's cool" Mikey replied as they all sighed in relief

"And that's why I set him free" Mikey said as his brothers gasped when they saw Leatherhead off the chains while holding the pan, Nuwa was standing right next to him as the gator just smiled

"You let that maniac loose?!" Donnie asked nervously as Nuwa gave him a glare

"Maybe you forgot that he grabbed me by the face. So I'll remind you, he grabbed me BY THE FACE!" Donnie shouted

"Relax, you've been hurt worse since" Raph stated sarcastically

"Mikey, you shouldn't have unchained him. What if he goes berserk?" Leo asked

"He's not gonna go berserk. He's totally mellow" Mikey assured as he petted the mutant's snout and Nuwa nodded in agreement

"Ok" Leo replied uneasy as he slowly approached Leatherhead while the others kept their distance

"So, Leatherhead. About the Kraang" Leo started

Leatherhead dropped the pan and so did Mikey and Nuwa's smile when he said that, his eyes turned white and roared

"KRAANG!"

He roared and swiped his paws and everything around him, Mikey and Nuwa ran to his side to calm him down

"Dude, chill! Chill!" Mikey said as he and Nuwa rubbed his head and his eyes turned normal and sank to his knees

"What were you thinking?!" Mikey asked angrily

"You said he was mellow!" Leo argued

"I didn't know you were gonna ask him about the you know who!" Mikey argued back

"Ok, what should I do?" Leo asked

"I don't know, maybe start with an icebreaker like, 'how was your day?'" Mikey replied

"And don't use the K-word this time" Nuwa agreed as Leo sighed frustratedly

"Fine!... uhm, Leatherhead. How was your day?" Leo asked

"It started out awful" Leatherhead replied

"Yeah, you were attacked by the Kraang" Mikey blurred out as Leatherhead's eyes turned white again and went on full rampage again

"KRAANG!" He roared

Leo and Nuwa gave Mikey an angry glare as he apologized

"My bad"

The two hurried over and tried to calm him down once more

"Cleansing breaths, cleansing breaths, cleansing breaths" Mikey whispered as he and Nuwa came to comfort him

"You know you're in a safe place now, right?" Nuwa asked while rubbing his head

"Yes..." Leatherhead sighed

"My brothers just want to ask you a few questions, do you think you can handle that?" Mikey asked as Leatherhead sighed

"Yes"

"Ok. Now, what is it that you guys wanted to ask?" Mikey asked his brothers

Leo and Raph looked at Donnie, waiting for him to reply as he clenched onto his bag

"Ok. W-we just wanna know what this is" Donnie said as he showed him what seems to be the power cell

Leatherhead's eyes turned white again and grabbed Donnie's head as he roared

"Thief!"

"Oh, come on!" Donnie yelled as Leatherhead roared angrily while the others took out their weapons

"This is not my day" Donnie yelled

Leo and Raph charged at him, only to get knocked and the power cell flew through the room

Leatherhead tried to grab it, but Raph kicked it away

The gator ran after it, but Raph threw it away and Leatherhead nearly crushed him

Leo and Donnie tried to stop him, but Leatherhead head knocked Leo down with his tail and slammed Donnie against the wall

"Leatherhead, relax! It's ok!" Nuwa called as Mikey held the power cell in his hand

Leatherhead turned and roared at them before snatching the power cell out of Mikey's hand

"No, put that down!" Mikey said, holding onto his arm

But he and Nuwa got thrown into the wall, when they heard a familiar voice shout

"Stop!"

Leatherhead turned around to see Splinter looking angrily at him

"Get away from my children!" He warned as Leatherhead roared at him and charged at him

Splinter dodged every attack as he threw Leatherhead into the wall, then he threw him on the other side of the room as he warned

"Leave this place, out!"

Leatherhead snatched the power cell off the floor and exited the lair with a growl

"Boys! Are you alright?" Splinter asked worriedly as he sat by Raph's side

"Yeah... yeah, we're ok" Leo replied

"Where are Nuwa and Michelangelo?" Splinter asked them

"You don't think they went after Leatherhead, do you?" Donnie asked

"No, only an idiot would-" Leo started, but he then realized they would

"Oh, boy" he sighed

Nuwa and Mikey were following the gator's footprints while Mikey shouted

"Leatherhead? Leatherhead?!"

They ran until they saw what seemed to be abandoned subways

They heard jazz-music coming from the subway in front of them and opened the door to reveal Leatherhead sitting in the middle of the room

"Dude! Leatherhead, what's the big idea, man?!" Mikey snapped as Leatherhead turned to look at them

"We trusted you, then you freak out and attacked my entire family. I thought we were friends" Mikey said sadly as Nuwa placed a hand on his shoulder

" I warned you that there is a dangerous force inside me that I cannot control. And that is why I must be alone" Leatherhead sighed as he looked down

"Leatherhead"

They turned to see Raph, Leo and Donnie pulling out there weapons and were in their fighting positions

"Get away from Nuwa and Mikey or we'll turn you into the worlds most ugliest suitcase!" Raph threatened as he pointed his sai at the mutant

"Please! I mean them no harm" Leatherhead pleaded

"It was the Kraang that made me this way. I was raised by a kind human boy, until his parents discovered me and dumped me in the sewers. The Kraan found me and took me to their dimension... they mutated me and subjected me to horrible experiments, but they could not break my spirit... 6 months ago, I escaped through the portal that they use to travel to Earth and I stole this" Leatherhead explained as he showed them the power cell

"What do they use it for?" Donnie asked

"It powers the portal. Without it, no Kraang can enter or leave this dimension. I swore to keep it from them and spare this world from their evil, even at the cost of my own life"

Suddenly, they heard a loud banging noise coming from outside and Leatherhead let out a growl

"Give to Kraang the power cell that Kraang has come to demand that you give to Kraang" a Kraang robot warned

"It's the Kraang!" Mikey yelled

"Quick, barricade the doors!" Leo ordered as they fought off a few Kraang robots that managed to get inside

They closed all doors as it was dead silent, Raph then sighed out of relief

Only when saws came through the walls to try to make their way in

"We're surrounded!" Raph called, followed by Mikey

"We'll never hold them off!"

"We gotta get out of here! Donnie, can you get this subway car running?" Leo asked

"This track is dead, there's no electricity!" Donnie replied

"What about the power cell? Can you use that?" Leo asked

"I might be able to hook it up to the motor, but I'll need time" Donnie said as Leatherhead stood up

"I will buy you time"

Leatherhead walked to Mikey with the power cell in his paw

"My friend. You have trusted me, now I am trusting you. I will deal with the Kraang" Leatherhead offered

"And I'm going with you" Nuwa said as Leatherhead nodded and both walked out to fight the Kraang

Leatherhead used his brute strength while Nuwa used airbending and shot lighting bolts at them

She helped him when he got caught off guard and then, Leatherhead pulled Nuwa out of the way, just in time to see the subway car speed away with abnormal speed

"That was impressive. Why didn't you tell me?" Leatherhead asked

"I-" Nuwa started when they heard a Kraang robot talking

"We must notify Kraang that the ones called 'the Turtles' have taking Kraang's power cell from Kraang"

Leatherhead approached them with loud footsteps as he growled

"You won't be telling anyone anything"

He lets out a roar as he destroyed the last robots
