Harry and I ended up not talking the whole time I lived in Peterborough. And I was gone for two years. When I got the news we were moving back, I was over the moon.
"Hayley, I have good news!" Mum called as I got up in the morning.
"What?" I asked as I walked down the stairs.
"We're moving back to London!" She said, and I grinned.
"Where to?" I asked, and she handed me a plate of toast, her eyes bright.
"Tottenham." She told me, and I laughed.
"Really? That's great, mum!" I exclaimed, as I sat down at the kitchen table.
"And... I got you this." She said, and slid a ticket across the table.
"What's this?" I asked, confused. I picked it up, before gasping.
"Well, a little birdie told me your friend was on the real team for Spurs now, so I thought what better a reunion than to go and see him play? I bought up-close seats so he could see you!" She said, and I smiled, but it quickly faded.
"I don't know if he even cares anymore. We just drifted apart." I told her quietly.
"Nonsense! I bet he's dying to see you again, Hayley!" She said. I ate my toast, before going upstairs, and sending a text to Jamie.
You still friends with Harry?
Jamie: yeah. Why?
Don't tell him, but I'm coming back to London.
Jamie: really? That's great, Hayley!
I know! I'm going to his match in hopes to see him again.
Jamie: maybe you can win his heart back. He's just gone through a breakup.
So he didn't wait for me then. I knew he wouldn't. Who with?
Jamie: One of the Ginas we went to school with. I know he wants to see you again tho. Where you moving to?
Tottenham. Quite close to white hart lane, actually.
Jamie: cool. Make sure to come visit me soon, I've got a place of my own now.
Alright. See you soon
I put down my phone and got dressed. I was so ready to move back to London.

We moved back within two weeks, just in time for the match. And when I got to white hart lane, I had my new spurs shirt on, with my favourite played on the back: Harry Kane. Number 10. My seats were fairly close to the front, so I had a good view of Harry. Harry had a good view of me. When the match started, I was mesmerised. Harry was playing in a premier league team. The match was good, and when Harry scored a goal, I jumped up and screamed. That was when he saw me. He stopped, mid celebration, and looked at me. I smiled at him, and he smiled weakly, before he realised he needed to continue playing, but throughout the rest of the game, he glanced at me a few times. When the match ended, I was just trying to leave, when a tall man with a steward hi-vis called me down to the front row of seats, so I could talk to him across the barrier.
"Harry Kane wants to talk to you, Miss Hayley Jones." He told me, and I smiled.
"Where do I meet him then?" I asked.
"Climb over the barrier, Miss. He'll meet you by the subs bench." He said, before helping me over the barrier and leaving me to wait for Harry. When Harry came out of the tunnel, he Grinned at me. He looked really good. I watched as he approached, his soft blonde hair blowing gently in the breeze. The first thing he did was hug me.
"I didn't know you were back, Hayley." He said, and I grinned at him.
"I wanted it to be a surprise." I said, and he laughed.
"It's good to have you back, Hayley. I missed you." He said, and I looked into his eyes, realising how much I missed him too. The chemistry was still there, and I could tell he wanted me back.
"Now I'm back, why don't we give our relationship another go?" I asked, and he smiled that perfect smile again.
"I'd like that." He said, and I leaned in, before kissing him for the first time in two years. And there was no hesitation.
