Izo gently says, "What do you think your parents will do the moment, they find out that Jane Katz is pregnant with your child? Not to mention the added fact that she is a demi and that your parents would lose half of everything? You certainly would be fine even disowned as you have your own money. But Miss Katz has family in Emerald City, I wonder how they would far under your parent's persecution?

However, an even better question is if your romantic relationship would survive such a strain? And the worst thing of all is that there would be a child caught up in the entire mess. No doubt, Katz would move away to protect your child, but still, we can't know if your parents will allow it. And we have not asked the most pertinent question of all, what will they do once they find out she is pregnant? They may act violently and accidentally cause her a miscarriage. And even worse, they may accidentally arrange for a subtle accident to take her life. Which wee both that is not an uncommon practice in the world of our parents."

James Duke trembles at Izo's words as he quietly says, "You've made your point."

"I thought you would eventually see it may, but anyhow, here is my proposal. We will continue to pretend to date each other for a year providing ample cover for you and your woman. I will ensure that the two of you are legally married by the end of today, so when your child is born, it will not be born out of wedlock. Secondly, I will protect the both of you by hiding your marriage and only revealing that fact after the fake engagement period is over. And lastly, by having me as your employer, your parents won't be to touch the family members of Katz lest they invoke my wrath which includes the Lee Family," Izo calmly stated as she paused to lean forward.

"So, James Duke will you become my knight?" Izo asked once more.

James Duke is quiet for a long time as he asks, "I will not be required become an assassin or kill anyone?"

"You will not become an assassin, but you must protect my sanctuary and that may involve killing off intruders," Izo carefully answered the question.

James Duke narrows his eyes and says, "Very well, I accept to become your Knight in fulfilling the role as stated, nothing more and nothing less."

A familiar ding is heard as a blue screen pops up in front of Izo's face

Izo glances up from the pop-up message to find a rather disturbed James staring blankly at the space before him. With a sigh, Izo says, "That's just a system message telling you've become the Captain of my Knights. There should be an icon allowing you accept the Captain Knight ranked item."

James blankly does as he is told when a broadsword appears on the table.

James seems to be dumb folded by the ridiculous stats of the broadsword in front of him. Izo quietly says, "Put that damn thing away into your inventory before you call attention to us! You can be in awe of it later!"

James blinks and rather confused asks, "How do I do that?"

Izo sighs and grumbles to herself, "Newbies." Taking a deep breath, Izo says, "Just put it into your inventory and imagine yourself doing so."

James rather awkwardly grabs the broadsword and begins to imagine doing so. To his amazement, an inventory like space appears before him and the broadsword darts inside to be stored. James is still in shock and disbelief when Izo drags him out of the café and teleports directly into the temple.

James' eyes widen as he recognizes their current location as the 8th floor of the new dungeon. Mana images had been brought back by Guild Mages and this was one of the easily recognizable features.

James opens his mouth and dumbly says, "So, I'm to guard the 8th floor of a dungeon?"

Izo rolls her eyes and says, "Of course not. You're only here to protect the temple of Cthulhu."

"Whose Cthulhu?" James dumbly asked.

Izo points at the pink jelly statues and drily says, "That's Cthulhu."

Before they can continue their conversation, the Brownie Bishop approaches them and bows. "Your excellence, Pope Psykosis it is an honor to have been bestowed the title of Bishop. I shall not fail you and have already called several others to fill in the positions of priestesses and priests. I hope that thy holy eminence does not mind my actions," The Brownie Bishopess said.

Izo nods her head in approval and says, "No, Cthulhu and I are very pleased with thy worshipful actions. Please allow me to introduce the man at my side, this is Captain James Duke. He will oversee the protection of the temple from evil doers and recruit more knights to protect the temple."

The female brownie bishop bows and says, "Thank your excellency and welcome, Captain James." The brownie bishop heads on her way gracefully as the worshiper's bow to her on her way out.

James is left rather mute and unable to process what is going on. Because he still couldn't understand that a dungeon was a God's temple. But even more so, Gods really existed, to begin with?!
