----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What are we going to do, Carol?!" Dan asked. The two still had their guns pointed at the group.

"Your bitten?!" Liam and Lewis said at the same time to Elly. She looked away from their accusing gazes.

Carol was in thought for a moment. Her eyes looked to the gathering crowd.

"Alright," She said loudly to the crowd. "Go back to your rooms. We'll get this sorted out."

Little by little, the crowd walked away and headed back to their designated rooms.

"What should we do?" Dan asked again.

Carol lowered her gun. Dan followed suit.

"I'm not sure what's going on," Carol began. "But I know what we could do. We have a lab looking for a cure. If what you say is true, then I'll take you to the lab to get checked out. Dan will get the rest of you checked in."

"Your not going to hurt them, right?" Lewis asked tentatively.

"Of course not. I'll make sure they'll come back safe." Carol said, smiling a fake smile.

"Wha- Is that you?!" A voice exclaimed.

Two familiar people walked up to the group. One had bright pink hair, the other a short black.

"Kim? Kaeyi?" Liam asked.

"It is you!" Kim exclaimed and bounded towards them. Kaeyi quickly followed, but her expression fell as she she surveyed the group.

"Have you seen Martyn?" Kaeyi asked. The group fell silent to this.

"He........" Duncan started to say, but trailed off.

"What? What happened?" Kaeyi asked, panic growing.

"Um, not to be rude," Carol interrupted. "But we got some business to take care. Come on you two, lets go." She started to walk away, with a hesitant Elly and Hannah in tow.

"Where's she taking them?" Kim asked.

"We believe that Hannah and Elly are immune to the zombie sickness or something." Lewis explained.

"What happened to Martyn?" Kaeyi pushed.

"Uh," Liam started. "Well, uh, he's........... gone."

Kaeyi's eyes widened. "What do you mean, 'he's gone'?!"

"We were hiding out from bandits in a farm that belonged to the little girl, Elly." Duncan said.

"He was shooting off the bandits with Tom," Lewis added. "But an arrow came through the window."

"And Martyn was the thing the arrow hit." Liam ended.

Kaeyi looked shocked for a moment. She started to shake her head as tears sprang into her eyes.

"Are...." She said through choked sobs. "Are you sure?"

The three nodded. Kaeyi broke down in tears, while Kim patted her back.

"Something just occurred to me." Kim said. "You said Tom was shooting off bandits with Martyn. Where's Tom?"

The three Yogscast members froze. Saying the first death was hard enough, but reciting a suicide?! Even worse, a suicide of their dear friend.

Kim seemed to pick up on that. "It's okay; you don't have to explain. But, he's gone, isn't he?"

The other three nodded.

Kim closed her eyes. "Oh, God. Why is this happening? I don't want to know what happened to anyone else."

Dan walked out of an office. The group hadn't even noticed he was gone. "Okay, I got all of you checked in, and now I'll show you your rooms."

Dan lead the group down a hallway, and held out some keys. He unlocked a few doors.

"Here you go," Dan said. "These are your rooms. And you can go ahead and choose which rooms you stay in."

"But you only unlocked three doors," Lewis said. "What about Elly? Hannah can sleep with me, but what about Elly?"

"None of you are her parents?" Dan asked.

"No," Liam said. "Her parents are dead. We found her alone."

"Oh," Dan said. "Well, neither of the two are having rooms here."

"Why not?" Duncan asked.

"Because the lab'll get rooms for them. The scientists there will need to keep a 24 hour surveillance on them." Dan explained. "That is, if they are immune."

"Don't worry," Kim said. "We've been here for a couple weeks already. It seems safe, and everyone's really nice. You don't need to worry."

"Okay, so how about you all get some rest? Your soaked and must be freezing! I think there are extra clothes in the rooms, so go get changed." Dan said, and walked away.

"We'll wait for you." Kim reassured. Kaeyi hadn't said anything. She was in deep thought, mourning the loss of her lover.

After a few minutes, the guys walked out of their chosen rooms with fresh clothes on. Kim and Kaeyi waited for them, and the group chatted.

"How long have you been here? Two weeks?" Duncan asked.

Kim nodded. "We got separated, remember? Kaeyi was going to meet up with Martyn that day, and I was out shopping. We crossed paths and stuck together. Then we stumbled upon this place."

"Wait, wait, wait," Liam said. He looked at Duncan. "When Elly revealed her bite, you never blinked an eye. It was like you knew."

Duncan backed up a bit. "It's not my fault; she made us promise not to tell."

"How did you find out? How long have you known? Are you hiding anything else?" Lewis asked.

"I'm not hiding anything else! I've only known for like a week, and we found out by accident." Duncan explained.

"'We'?" Liam pushed.

Duncan paused for a moment. "Hannah knew, too."

"Unbelievable." Lewis said, exasperated.

"Like I said, it's not our faults! We found out when Elly cut her hand, and we rolled up her sweatshirt sleeve to clean it. We found the bite wound that way. It's not our faults!" Duncan explained.

"Guys, cool it!" Kim stepped in and crossed her arms. "It's like your not the same people! Your different. I saw that as soon as I saw you all. Your untrusting and cold to eachother, when you guys were the most social and interacting people before all this sh*t went down! What happened to the fun-loving hilarious people I knew?" Kim didn't wait for an answer, for she was already walking through a door, possibly to her room. Kaeyi followed her, looking empty and depressed. The guys heard the click! of a lock.

Liam sighed. "She's right. This whole thing has changed us. We should get some sleep." He walked into his chosen room and closed the door.

Duncan and Lewis looked at eachother.

"Sorry I didn't say anything earlier..." Duncan apologized.

"No, I should be the one apologizing. I accused you of something you knew was good. I'm sorry." Lewis said.

The two nodded to eachother, then left to their own rooms.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah! New people! Hurray! :D Anyways, I don't know Kaeyi's real name(I think it's Stephanie, but I'm not sure), so I just decided to keep her name 'Kaeyi'.

Enjoy!
