I wake up, bright and early to ONLY BE PULLED OUT OF BED BY THE ONE AND ONLY SEO CHANGBIN. What did this short dude want?

"Hyunjin~!" he whined and started babbling about his gym routine. Hyung, I don't want to listen to how you're going to train on our free day. That's crazy. I just can't believe—I'm confessing today. In less than twelve hours. I'M SO SCARED.

Around 10 a.m., Felix and I decided to hit the flower shop to pick out the perfect bouquet. It wasn't just about flowers; it was about sending a message, you know? Romantic, sweet, and just a little extra. As soon as we walked in, Felix turned into some kind of flower expert.

"Mate," he said, holding up a bouquet of pink roses mixed with some tiny white flowers I couldn't name, "this is the one. It's classy, timeless, and screams, 'I really like you, but also I'm a gentleman.'"

I squinted at it. "You sure? What if it's too much? Like, what if she thinks I'm trying too hard?"Felix rolled his eyes. "You're overthinking again. Pink roses are perfect. They're romantic without being over the top. Trust me."

I nodded, still second-guessing everything. "Alright, but if this goes south, I'm blaming you."

He smirked, handing the bouquet to the florist. "If this goes south, it's not the flowers' fault, mate. That's on you."

I groaned, but deep down, I knew he was right. After paying for the bouquet, we made our next essential stop: Starbucks. Because nothing calms nerves like caffeine, right?

As we waited for our drinks, Felix glanced at me. "So, you ready for tonight? Got your speech all planned out?"

"Uh..." I scratched the back of my neck. "Define 'ready.'"

Felix laughed. "Oh no. You don't have a plan, do you?"

"I do!" I protested but then immediately added, "Kind of. Like, I know what I want to say, but what if I freeze up? Or, I don't know, trip on something? What if I spill my drink on her? Or—"

Felix held up a hand, cutting me off. "First of all, stop. You'll be fine. Second of all, don't drink coffee before the date. We both know how that ends."

I groaned, burying my face in my hands. "I know, I know! If I'm too caffeinated, I'll end up yelling, 'YOU'RE SO PRETTY, I LOVE YOU, YAYAYAYAYAY!' at the top of my lungs. Not exactly date-night behavior."

Felix snorted, taking a sip of his drink. "Yeah, let's avoid that. But seriously, you've got this. She's gonna love it."

"Thanks, Lix," I said, feeling a little less like I was spiraling. "You're a good hype man."

He grinned. "Anytime, mate. Now, drink your Americano before it gets cold."After finishing our drinks, we decided to walk around for a bit. Felix kept talking about our upcoming album, 5-STAR.

"I can't wait for people to hear S-Class," he said, practically bouncing as we strolled down the street. "It's gonna blow their minds!"

I nodded. "Yeah, and Youtiful? Man, that one hits different. It's like... the perfect balance of emotional and uplifting."

"Agreed," Felix said, his eyes lighting up. "And you know the fans are gonna lose it when they hear it live."

"Let's just hope I survive tonight first," I muttered.

Felix laughed and slung an arm around my shoulders. "Relax. It's just dinner, a romantic walk by the Han River, and, oh yeah, confessing your feelings. No big deal!"

"Not helping, Felix. I'm going to forget half of the words! And then stutter! That's like... -10 aura!"

We made it back to the dorm around noon, and I started getting ready. The plan was to meet her at 5 p.m., take her to this amazing restaurant near Lotte World Tower, and then head to the Han River for the big moment.

"You sure you're not gonna chicken out?" Felix teased from the doorway as I stared at my reflection in the mirror, trying to decide if my outfit screamed "effortlessly cool" or "trying way too hard."

"I'm not gonna chicken out," I said, tugging at my jacket. "Probably."

Felix laughed. "Well, if you do, just call me. I'll come rescue you with a box of macarons and a heartfelt speech about how love conquers all."

"Thanks, Lix," I said, rolling my eyes. "Really helpful."

"Anytime, mate. Anytime." We continued to roll down the streets, stopping at stall after stall only to realize they had stupid, weird stuff. Until we reached the one and only ring shop. HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN A PROMISE RING?! I am such a pabo for a reason...

"Felix..." I sighed.

"What now? Let me see... Do you want me to bake brownies? When she says yes, I come in a chicken costume and say, 'chickennn chickennn!'?" he joked, sipping the last bit of his americano that made a slurping noise.

"No!! Can you believe that I forgot the promise ring?" I laughed.

"YOU'RE IN PABO RACHA FOR A REASON YOU DUMMY! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" he yelled. He's had too much caffeine for 1 pm.

"So....we kinda have to stop real quick..." I muttered.

"OK, ok...just don't spend all of your salary on this because you never know," he winked.

"That will totally make me feel more confident, thanks, Felix!" I sighed, walking into the shop. The door creaked and showed a mesmerizing displaying fine pieces of artistic jewelry and accessories.

"Annyeonghaseyo," I greeted and started roaming towards the women's section of rings. I want something chic and stylish yet Jiyoung-like.

"she's a size 4.5... last time I checked," Felix exclaimed.

"..and when was the last time you checked?" I asked. If he doesn't tell me that it was recently, we—more like me are screwed.

"...A year ago..." Felix sighed. A year? A whole freaking year?

"Felixxxx...that's so long ago!" I whined.

"Well, asking for someone's ring size is not a normal day-to-day activity, now is it?" He smiled, chuckling.

"I guess not. Why do you even KNOW her ring size?" I asked, questioning why he even knew this.

"That doesn't matter," he replied, shrugging his shoulders, "Ooh, this one looks cute!". He pointed at a ring with an intricate flower design.

"I don't know... isn't it... a bit too much though?"

"I honestly don't know! OOH THIS ONE IS JIYOUNG!" he yelped. He was right. It was a simple yet cool gold ring with a bow as the centerpiece.

"Any idea what the price is, Yongbok-ah?" I asked. I loved it, but that depends on the price if I'm willing to get it.

"Um... about 43,000 won (a/n: roughly ~$30, ~29 euros, or ~24 pounds)," he stated. Not very expensive. What would I do with it if she rejects me? I'd probably just return it then.

"Yeah...I'll get it," I murmured, paid, and we left to go back to our dorms.

- - -

Our tradition for days we were free was to play a video game. We decided to play the most competitive game we own: Mario Party. The dorm was in chaos as we set up. Stakes were high: the winner got bragging rights for a week, and the loser had to buy snacks for a month.

"I hope you're ready to lose," Lee Know said, picking Bowser with the smuggest expression ever.

"Please," Changbin scoffed. "You're looking at the future champion right here."

"You mean future rage quitter?" I teased, earning a glare.

Bang Chan, of course, chose Mario. "Alright, kids, time for a masterclass in leadership."

"Hyung, you're in last place every time," Jeongin muttered, rolling his eyes.

The first mini-game, Hot Potato, was absolute madness. Jisung shrieked as the bomb landed in his hands. "NO! TAKE IT BACK, BOKKIE!"

"WHY WOULD YOU GIVE IT TO ME?!" Felix yelled, tossing it to Changbin, who panicked.

"WHAT BUTTON DO I PRESS?!" Changbin roared, flailing until the bomb exploded on him.

"Classic," Lee Know said, smirking. "You're all terrible."

By mid-game, Lee Know had two stars, I was broke yet still in third place, and Bang Chan was sulking in last place.

"You're all ganging up on me," he muttered.

"Hyung, it's Mario Party," I said. "That's the entire game."

The final mini-game, Tug of War, was chaos. Felix screamed, "PULL HARDER!" while Changbin looked like he might pop a blood vessel.

"Seungmin, DO SOMETHING!" Jeongin yelled.

"I AM DOING EVERYTHING!" Seungmin snapped back.

Our team won, of course, and when the final stars were handed out, Lee Know took the win.

"Bowser always wins," he said with a smug grin.

Jisung threw his controller down. "This game is rigged! I'm not buying snacks for a month!"

"Yes, you are," I said, grinning. "Fair is fair."

"Worst. Day. Ever," he groaned, collapsing on the floor while Lee Know did a victory dance. Classic Mario Party chaos.
