Chelsea sat down at the table and as a young girl walked past she dragged her by her clothes and pulled her down. The girl sat there, scared but after a few seconds she calmed down and seemed normal. "Sit in the middle." The girl obeyed and sat in between Seth and Chelsea. Seth sniffed and smiled lightly.
"You like the petite type?"
"I like anything." Chelsea bared her fangs and bit into the girls shoulder. The girl let her body relax so Chelsea could take more blood. Chelsea sucked the blood and then stopped, nodding her head to let Seth take his bite. She watched him as he bit into the girls neck gently, the way he slowly and gently bit the girl intrigued Chelsea. She went for seconds this time going for the other side of her neck. Seth and Chelsea sucked the girl dry and when she passed out they looked at each other. "Oh wow..." She moved fast closer to him and pulled him in for a blood tantalising kiss letting their mouths collide, she mounted on top of his lap and let him trail kisses down her throat slowly biting into her neck for Chelsea this was a massive turn on and something in her body wanted it to be more. Hours and more unconscious humans later they sat next to each other blood covered over their clothes. "I should get going.."
"Going where?"
"I don't know... Anywhere... I need to leave my mark on this city."
"Stay here a little more... With me." He looked into her eyes but she shook her head.
"I don't know what you think you can do... But I don't care." She went to stand up but Seth pulled her back down.
"I'm not doing anything... But I want to spend more time with you."
"It's not going to change who I am." She huffed and crossed her arms.
"I wasn't implying that. I mean.." He picked up her hand and spun the ring around her finger. "I don't have one of these.. You see so I'm stuck in here until nighttime. How did you get one anyways?"
"Oh I have my connections..."
"For a newbie vampire like you, how?" She tutted and then placed the ring on the table.
"I never had the choice to turn, so when I was my old self I was taken to a school in Nova Scotia..."
"Lady Meyers School of the Supernatural."
"You know of the place?" He nodded. "How?"
"Every vampire does. That's the vacation place for us vamps." He chuckled and picked up the ring looking at it intently. "So I'm guessing you got it from Miss Carter." Chelsea nodded. "Who's Zoey and Oliver?" He blurted out and Chelsea stared at him quietly before answering him. "What did I catch a nerve."
"Pfft no. That would mean that I would care what you say. Was you eves dropping on me earlier?"
"Of course..." He stuck his tongue out.
"Oliver is my ex boyfriend... And Zoey is my Ex best friend."
"That's a lot of Ex's..."
"well they treated me like I wasn't there and I just got fed up of all the lies, so I left them when I found out they had a thing and turned it off..."
"Ouch... That's not nice. This Oliver seems like a jerk.."
"Oh believe me that's tame compared to what he really is. He never loved me, it was all lies. I just haven't got an ounce of care left for him anymore and as goes for Zoey, I wish I never met her."
"Surely you don't mean that."
"Seth you don't know them. She's a backstabbing two faced bitch..."
"Careful your humanity's showing."
"As if..." She flipped her hair and looked at him.
"Obviously you've never had your emotions turned off before and lucky for you I have... So let me show you the ropes."
"I don't need to be taught a lesson... I'm perfectly capable doing it all on my own."
"You sure about that?" Chelsea nodded and smiled sarcastically. "With the mess that you're in now, and the amount of bodies you've left lying around tells me otherwise. I can show you how to indulge while all keeping yourself off the radar." She watched him and smiled gently as he explained what he could show her.

"What happened?" Zoey asked Oliver a few hours later, after she had waited for him to try and contact Chelsea again.
"She wants to play a game..."
"A game? What sort of game?"
"One that almost every vampire who flips the switch."
"She turned it off? But why?"
"It must still be about the kiss..."
"It was my fault I was the one out of hand... You didn't do anything."
"I lied about her best friend turning into a vampire..."
"That's completely different!" Oliver ran his hands through his head and exhaled deeply. "Oliver we was going to tell her eventually... It just never seemed the right time."
"It's never going to be the right time until we get her home!" Oliver was frustrated now and threw almost anything he could get his hands on at the wall letting it smash into pieces.
"Now now Oliver is that really needed? How is that helping the situation?"
"Go away Alex." Zoey spun around quickly and watched as Alex strutted herself into the living room holding a piece of paper in her hand, waving it. Oliver turned slowly and cocked his eyebrow.
"What is that?"
"Don't forget to thank me later." She passed him the paper and he opened it.
"Who's that?"
"Just someone I met on my travels so many years ago."
"And what can they do?"
"Oh, Oliver." Alex looked at him and chuckled. "They are two of the most powerful witches to ever exist."
"And how are you with them?" Alex smirked and nodded her head.
"I've been loyal to them for years... And they have been the same."
"How can we get in touch?"
"Oh you can't." She shrugged her shoulders. "They are protected by there spells, they only show themselves when they want to be known. But I do know another which who can do a locator spell." Oliver grew angry and threw something else at the wall. "Hey? Do you want my help or not?"
"Well to be honest Alex. I don't need your help. It's not helping us at all anyways."
"You'll regret saying that."
"No, I won't." She stepped closer to him so their bodies were an inch away from each other.
"Don't do this Oliver, you'll regret it." He ignored her and Alex picked up a piece of wood that was laying on the floor and stabbed it into his torso. "Don't say I didn't warn you." She whipped her hair and swiftly left the room. Zoey kneeled down and pulled out the piece of wood and heard Oliver gasp.
"Um... Now you've given us another problem to deal with Oliver."
"Oh don't.. Worry about... Alex. She's harmless. She has tamed over the years."
"Yeah I don't think she has. She has years on you remember that." Zoey nodded her head and stood up.
"This witch doesn't know Chelsea's whereabouts, she's just giving us false hope."

"That's it. The slower you suck the blood, the less mess you make." Seth spoke in the background as he watched Chelsea attack the man. Chelsea released her bite from the man and breathed out deeply, letting the last of the blood slide down her throat.
"I want more!" Chelsea sounded eager this time, lifting her head and looking at Seth dead in the eyes.
"Later my love. Come with me, I want to show you a place."
"Where are we going?" Chelsea asked but Seth didn't answer, instead grabbing her hand and running off with her into the night. They went through the city and eventually stood in front of a rotten building.
"What is this place?"
"This is where I live." Chelsea shook her head and walked around, she moved into the building and heard the faint dripping of water that was coming from the damaged roof. The interior was disgusting, the place hadn't been touched in ages. "It's been vacating for decades, so I moved it." Chelsea scoffed.
"Moved in? You're kidding."
"Some of us don't have a place to go." Chelsea turned around and saw Seth on the verge of tears. "When I lost my parents... I just... Couldn't care anymore." Chelsea listened to him, while she stood in the middle of the room. A sound coming from the corner of the room made her jump and look around.
"You've been here all this time?" Seth nodded. "Why? Why didn't you move? Make a life for yourself."
"Chelsea you don't get it, people like me weren't meant to succeed, we were meant to just take over from our parents and continue till we died. Some of us don't have the luxury of money."
"Wait... So all this time... You lied about being like me?"
"I didn't lie. I never actually told you that I had my humanity... You just didn't catch on. Plus I've been this way for 30 years." Chelsea stepped forward, and placed her hands on his shoulders, smiling warmly. He looked at her as he spoke. "I was only 17 when I turned, so I hardly know a thing or two..."
"But it's been 30 years, surely you would've learned things. I don't understand, why would you try to fool me?"
"I wasn't... I-"
"You made me believe that I could actually rely on someone while I was going through this good part of my life, and I believed it. I just thought I could find someone that I could be with the rest of my life and not care anymore... To leave my old life in the past and never return it but you!" She pointed a finger to him and gripped harder onto his shoulder. "You lied and I can't be bothered with this anymore. You've been a waste of my precious time." Chelsea snapped his neck and watched as his body fell at her feet, she shuffled her feet letting some dust coat his body. Chelsea zipped up her jacket and walked away leaving him in the middle of his 'home'.

Oliver walked down the street, trying to think of the easiest way of finding Chelsea. He walked into the bar and sat on a stool, the bartender gave him his usual and he knocked it back, ordering it again. The light sniffs of someone next to him caught his attention. He turned his head, and saw Christine, crying on the counter. "Christine, are you okay?" She lifted her head, and looked at him. Her makeup was smeared and her eyes were red from the crying. "What's wrong?" She wiped her nose and took a napkin, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You can tell me."
"It's Pete..."
"What?" Oliver turned his body so he was facing her now.
"He's dying."
"What do you mean? He looks fine."
"That's the thing, the doctors said it's an aggressive cancer... One that chemo won't be able to fix." She looked at him and held back the tears. "He's been lying to me for months, until it slipped out. He's dying and there's nothing I can do." Alex appeared next to him. "Oh Chelsea are you okay? I've not seen you for a few days." Christine spoke to Alex, oblivious that I wasn't her daughter.
"I'm fine mom... I just thought I'd come home. Is everything okay?" Alex narrowed her gaze at the nearly drunk human, and kind of felt some pity for her.
"It's nothing. I'm fine, just a bad day at work that's all."
"What was that about dad?" Alex asked keeping up with the lies.
"Oh nothing honey, don't worry about it. Actually I'm going to go home, I'll see you soon."
"Oh mom, I'm staying at Olivers tonight so don't expect me home."
"Okay honey." Christine jumped down from the stool and hugged Alex tightly giving her a kiss on the cheek before leaving the bar, it felt nice for Alex the thought of someone actually caring for her even if she was pretending to be someone else. They both watched before they spoke together.
"Now what's going on?"
"Nice acting. She didn't suspect a thing."
"Why thank you ... But why is she like that?"
"Her husbands dying... So we need to find Chelsea." Oliver spoke to her.
"Okay, fine. I'm sorry about earlier, I got angry. I didn't mean it."
"I don't believe it."
"Don't believe it, I don't care but I want Chelsea home as much as you do."
"And whys that?"
"I don't want to be called Chelsea Adams anymore. I hate it. I'm Alex and I'm not a whiny little girl." Oliver chuckled lightly and nodded his head.
"Now how do we get Chelsea back to her hometown?"
"Oh don't you worry Oliver... I've sorted it."
"How?"
"A person never tells. You'll just have to wait until the time comes."

As the weeks passed, Oliver searched for Chelsea, even going further afield than he would've done before but time was running out and if Chelsea wasn't home then she would miss out on saying the final goodbye to her father. So it was his main priority to get the girl that he loved home safe and sound and back to her normal self before everything turned upside down, and that also meant making sure Alex was kept under control, even though she had been disappearing more times than he could count on one hand. He also had to keep an eye on Chelsea's family, trying to help out as much as possible and also getting Zoey used to life as a vampire, all of these tasks were competing with one another and there wasn't much time left...
