Xavier's POV:I sighed in bored, my parents forced me to come with them to the farmers market. I hated coming I would rather be at my creek ruling over everyone. Until, I heard something knock over loudly, I looked behind me and saw a kid had tripped over a box they had a backpack and a bag. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!"The person panicked while quickly helping the other person clean up whatever was in the box then ran off when the other person said it was okay. Now they were being more careful, I watched them leap through the place while gracefully running past the boxes and other things in the way.

I don't know why but I felt amazed seeing such skill. I looked closer at the person and saw them leap over a large box. "Xavier, don't stand so far away"My mom said then pulled me closer to her, "I don't want anyone taking you". My mom walked me to another stand that stand was where that kid leaped. While my mom was getting some vegetables, I watched that kid jump highly over everything that can get in their way. "(Y/N)! (Y/N), where are you?!"I heard a man and woman yell they looked similar to the person jumping and running, both shared many features with them. Could that be their parents? (Sorry if you're adopted or a foster kid, just ignore that line) While I was watching the kid turn corners I saw the woman there walk up to my mom. "Excuse me ma'am have you seen my child, they've ran off somewhere me and my husband think they're at this farmers market, hiding"The woman said.

Something in me made me think I shouldn't rat the kid out and I shook my head no and so did my mom. Then we went over to a stand around the corner where that kid running was. I saw that they were cornered panicking as they tried to find a way out, after everything I've seen maybe I could help them out...I ran towards them. "Psst!"I said trying to get the attention of them. "Ah! Oh...It's just you, who are you exactly?"The kid asked, "I'm Xavier, I see you're having trouble getting away from those people"I said pointing to the kid's parents.

They nodded while clutching their bag, "I can help you get out of here, uh..."I said then realized I didn't know what to call them. "(Y/N)". "(Y/N), just follow me over this path, trust me my parents make me come with them to these a lot so I know the whereabouts"I said walking (Y/N) away from where they were. "Thank you...But why are you helping me, I'm a stranger to you..."(Y/N) asked. I can't tell them the real reason I wanna help them, I wanted to help them so I could see if they would make a good fourth champion. "I saw you needed help, who know's maybe you're running from some killer, a bully or an insane ex?"I lied to which they laughed at the last part, "Well, it isn't really that...My parents are looking for me, I ran away from home cause my parents treated me pretty awfully I doubt they want me now...I don't know why they're trying to go after me guess they don't wanna look bad..."(Y/N) said. They told me some stuff that happened before running away even an incident that happen at their father's work place.

So basically I'm with a practically homeless kid right now? I got it! I'll let (Y/N) stay at my house for shelter, observe them with all the time they're at my house I could trick them into improving their jump high more telling them it would be for running from their parents when it's really to become a champion. With enough time (Y/N) will serve as a loyal champion and help me just like, Keun Sup, Aggie and Jackie. "(Y/N), I think I have an idea. You go escape and meet me here at this creek then later I can bring you with me to my house and ask my mom if you could stay with us"I said handing (Y/N) a piece of paper to where the creek was.

"Xavier, are you sure?"(Y/N) asked as we finally reached the exit, "Yeah, my parents give me everything so they'll let you stay at my house. But we can't tell them that you ran away my parents will probably return you...We can say your parents treated you badly and you need somewhere to stay"I said then helped (Y/N) out the farmers market. (Y/N) turned their face to me and waved bye before running off jumping high towards the creek. "See you soon..."I mumbled waving bye to them.

Time skip

(Y/N) did what I said, hmm they're obident they're already showing themselves as worthy. (Y/N) was emptying their backpack and bag in the guest room. I saw they were changed into something else, they looked nice but I couldn't just be standing there staring at how good they looked- I mean, staring at them doing nothing like a weirdo so I cleared my throat to let them know I was there. "Mind if i come in?"I asked, (Y/N) shook their head no then stuffed some of their pajamas in the dresser in there. I walked inside and sat on the bed.

"So, (Y/N) I've been thinking, since your parents have been bad to you to a point of no forgivness and they're looking for you as we speak, you'll need to run from them so I was thinking we could improve your jump height so you could jump over things better and also so you could run faster"I said. (Y/N) seemed to have taken intersted in this and sat next to me on the bed, "You have a good point...I'm listening"(Y/N) said. I admit, (Y/N) looked cute intersted at what I wanted to show them but now wasn't the time.

With my reasonings (Y/N) took interest and we agreed to improve (Y/N)'s jump height starting tomorrow afternoon. We spend the rest of the day talking on (Y/N)'s bed and I found out more about their past best friend. Should I use them as motivation? I'll think about that...

Time skip

2nd person:You shut off your light and laid down in your bed, you still felt weird calling it your bed after all it was a guest bedroom you were sleeping in. Not much was in it at first until you put in some of your things, you turned your head to your phone that was charging on the floor by the bed. Not a single text or call from your parents after you've went to Xavier's house. Did they stop searching? Did they really not want you and preferred Jane still? That didn't matter now, you rolled over on your back and tried to go to sleep.

The next day

You had breakfast with Xavier's parents and sister, it felt weird in someway. As you were eating, Xavier's mom tried to make conversation with you. You followed along not wanting to seem rude, you thought if you were rude or stepped out of line even a little bit they'd throw you out the house. So when you were done eating you thanked them for breakfast and put your plate in the sink. You showered and got into comfortable clothes since you and Xavier agreed to work on your jump height.

Time skip

You and Xavier practiced together, you heavily panted after an hour. "Hey, Xavier, do you think right now is a good stopping point?"You asked shaking your legs lightly one at a time, "Sure, we can rest..."Xavier sighed and you and Xavier just sat with each other. Xavier passed you a water bottle and you drank it.

Xavier's POV:Dang it dang it! Why did I get this feeling in my chest seeing (Y/N) train. I'm trying to make them a champion for my creek not get lovey dovey with them! But they looked so...Enticing. I can ignore these feelings they'll probably go away soon. Me and (Y/N) went inside to get a snack from the kitchen, as (Y/N) was eating theirs my mom walked in. "You worked up quite the appetite, (Y/N) are you a cheerleader? You seem good to be one"My mom said.

(Y/N) doing Cheerleading? I ended up zoning out picturing (Y/N) on a cheer team, throwing those Pom poms/dancing around on the field, being thrown in air. I could just watch them preform with their team for hours. "Xavier?"(Y/N) said snapping me out of my thoughts, "Huh?". "Xavier, I wanted to ask if you wanted to watch a movie with me"(Y/N) asked. The movie (Y/N) picked out was Breakfast at Tiffany's, it was a movie (Y/N) thought was interesting so I let them give it a try.

Time skip

2nd person:Towards the last few seconds of the movie, you felt something on your thighs. You looked down and saw Xavier had fallen asleep on your lap, you turned off the movie and took him to his room. You had to admit, he looked so cute asleep all peaceful and relaxed. But you brushed off those feelings when you were back in your room reading a book.

Xavier's POV:I woke up on my bed an hour later. Wasn't I on the couch? Ah man I fell asleep in front of (Y/N) and they carried me to my room. Did I make (Y/N) think they were boring me with the movie? Wait why do I care...They're suppose to be apart of my creek serving me and the reason why I let them stay with me is to turn them into a fourth champion for whatever group is available for a champion.

I got up from my bed and grabbed my journal from under my mattress. Maybe I can write about these feelings I got for (Y/N), I know, I write about all these feelings and when I'm done I'll probably forget about them. I started jotting everything I've been feeling recently, I don't get it ever since (Y/N) came I'm feeling things I've never felt before.

1 month later

(Y/N) could be ready to become a champion, it seems like their training paid off so much in just a month. Hopefully they have a good name thought of by the time I invite them to help me at the creek. They don't know about the whereabouts of my creek, not even that I'm the king there. But lately, I've gotten bad feelings when I lied to (Y/N) about the reasonings from their training. I don't want to trick (Y/N) anymore so I decided to actually make it into what (Y/N) thought it has been this whole time, getting away from their parents, they'll only become a champion if they want to. But at the same time I still want them to be a champion, maybe I could convince them somehow.

2nd person:You stepped out the house with your bag. Xavier's sister, Cheyenne, saw that you were bored in your room with nothing to do. So she told you about some creek she used to play at until high school so you packed your bag with the stuff you needed.

You walked into the creek, you didn't see many people there. As you walked you began thinking a little bit about your parents, is your parents search for you still going on? You've barely went outside in public but have they even filed a missing person report for you it's been more than 24 hours already and you haven't seen your face on missing posters, the news or anything. Huh, they really did prefer that Jane girl...

Your thoughts were put to an end when you bumped into a tree and fell backwards. Just when you were about to get up some shade hovered over you. You looked behind you and saw three kids standing over you, a purple haired girl with large muscles and dressed as an acorn, a short Korean boy dressed as a cherry blossom and a tall boy dressed as a water lily. "What are you doing here?!"The acorn dressed girl asked, "I've never seen you around this creek are you trespassing?"The Korean boy said looking at you closer.

"Trespasser?! I was just walking around this creek cause I was bored! Who do you think you are trying to gatekeep it?!"You protested now standing up, "Look, if you have an attitude this'll just be harder for you"The purple haired girl said "You just accused me of trespassing when I was minding my own business of course I'm gonna have an attitude!"You said. You saw the cherry blossom boy sign language something to the water lily boy and he tried to grab you. But you leaped backwards from him, how can just wanting to getting rid of boredom turn into 3 against 1?

Just when you thought you were gonna have to put your jump high to use, a girl dressed in tan colored clothing holding a purple bat ran into the scene. "Wait! Champions, you don't have to take them! I know who they are, the king told me about them!"The girl said then escorted you out the scene with the champions following behind. The girl took you somewhere with some carts with outfits in it. "Tailor! I need you to get some measurements for a new comer!"The girl yelled out.

"Uh...What's going on?"You asked confused "Our king has been talking about you, he wants to make you apart of this side so we need to get you a uniform"The girl said and another short girl came with a tomato needle cusion on her head. She got out some measuring tape and started taking your measurements. You had no idea what king they were talking about but when the short girl was done with your measurements she handed you an outfit that looked like a plant. The girl dressed in the tan hood took you somewhere to change and shut the door. You looked around and saw it was a dressing room, you looked into the cheap tall mirror they had in there and put your bag and outfit on the chair in the dressing room.
