Darcy's POV...

I looked up to see Ciel standing at the top of the stairs staring down at Ember who was still hugging the new comer. By the look in Ciel's eyes I could tell he was crushed. He turned away, but instead of running like I expected he walked slowly away. "Ciel wait!" Ember yelled and pushed out of Delari's grasp. Ciel turned and saw her heading toward him a and began to run.

She ran after him, all eyes on her. She suddenly stopped. "Stupid shoes." She hissed and pulled them off throwing them down before sprinting as fast as she could after him. "Ciel!"She yelled.

I turned to Sebastian. "Let's go." I said to him and turned.

We both ran side by side after the two. I skidded to a stop to see Ember reach for Ciel's back. He whipped around and slapped her hand. "Don't touch me!"He yelled.

What I saw surprised me, streaming down his face were fresh tears, sliding down his pale cheeks.

Ember's POV...

Shock took over my features, my eyes going wide as I saw his face. The strong and stone cold Ciel Phantomhive had tears running down his cheeks. My hand was still suspended in air next to me because I had failed to move it in the midst of my shock.

"Ciel..." I began, not knowing what else to say.

"Shut up! Just shut up! I can't believe I actually cared for you!" Ciel yelled at me, tugging on his hair like a mad man.

"Cared for me?" I asked silently, looking down towards the floor in thought. I had mostly said it to myself but he heard it none the less.

Suddenly I heard nothing, the sound of people chattering in shock of the event occurring was gone, the sound of Ciel's yelling was no longer ringing in my ears.

When I realized that Ciel was not speaking, or anyone for that matter I brought my head up, but as I did so the room began to spin. I forced my self to look up to Ciel, only to see not one of him, but three.

His mouth was open and it looked like he was yelling, but I could not hear a word. My eyebrows furrowed, blinked a few times and shook my head, hoping to erase the multiple Ciel's but I did nothing.

Ciel was no longer yelling, but looking as confused as I was with a concerned look in his eye.

"Ciel?" I asked, only because I could not recognize his face anymore, it was just a blur, everything was.

Black began dotting my vision, filling out the small space I could see. My heart was racing in fear because only now I realized something was wrong, my stomach was queasy, I was sweating and I couldn't see. This has never happened before, a wave of fear took over me, what do I do?

The balance I had left me, making me fall backwards slightly, I began to attempt to catch myself, only ending in me tripping over my own feet and falling forwards. Only now did I realize I could no longer see anything, just black. I could not tell if I had my eyes shut, my mind just couldn't register what was going on and began to shut down.

I felt something catch me, but before my mind could process what it was, weather the floor or arms, I shut down. My sense of touch, sight, my mind, everything. Everything was blank for a split second, then everything went dark.

Darcy's POV.....

I watched as Ember's eyes closed. Ciel had her in his arms. "Ember! Ember! Are you okay?" He said frantically.

I stepped forward and scooped her from his arms, I knew exactly what was happening. "Hey! He protested.

I looked down at him with a cold stare. "We need to get her to the infirmary." Sebastian said.

"What's going on?!" Ciel yelled in panic.

I lifted the hair off the back of her neck, where her veins were now turning black. Ciel gasped, "What the hell is that?" He asked

"Poison." I replied bluntly.

"She's a demon how can some poison hurt her?" He demanded.

"She has only just become a demon, she is still weak and can die from poison ment for humans." Sebastian replied.

"Then why are you just standing there!?" He yelled angrily.

"Because I know this poison all too well, we use to work with Delari and this is his signature poison. But what he doesn't know is I guessed his plans. When he asked Ember to be with him forever she refused, as she saw him more as a brother. After that he disappeared, leaving some of he poison behind." I explained pulling a vile from my pocket.

What was inside was a purple black liquid, the poison. "With this we can easily make a antidote." Sebastian said taking it from me.

I handed Ember to Sebastian. "Take care of her, I'm going after Delari." I said.
