(Like I said on my first fully-working-on original story: I'll upload a chapter here every once in awhile. If by luck, 2 chapters. If you're looking to know what my Original Story is called: Wrath Of Man. Swing by to read the prologue.)

For being an introverted person his entire life despite having moments where he expressed himself in front of Akeno, Tsubaki, Alyssa, or Rias time throughout, Ethan still couldn't bear living in a environment that no humans had colonized yet. Day one began after Elms shouted at Akeno, after his chains of anger broke free. Akeno.... didn't dare to look him in the eyes as she sobbed, admitting what he said were true. She ignored his feelings, rejected them, and created feelings for someone else when she stated no love shall enter her life since childhood. Reason being is from that incident, excessively repeating her mother's death.

(You... slut...)

Just like that, the System notifications rang, for that his punishment has arrived after not completing his daily quest. Luckily - no.... Ethan's not lucky. He's alone, terrified of the unknown, regretting his outburst towards Akeno, and fallen down from grace. Ian isn't there, nor Elle, nor his army of shadows. It's like... this punishment is made for isolating Elms completely.

[Oh, Ethan. Oh, Ethan. You did yourself a favor.]

[Exactly! How about it, huh? Complete silence.]

[Ho~? Blocking your ears? That's never gonna work, kid! We're inside your head. We're a part of your devilish emotions.]

[You see, we appeared after all of us heard you shouting and cussing at Akeno. We thought to ourselves if this is a good time to pitch in?]

[Hey! Why don't we repeatedly play that memory again?]

[Good idea!]

And so, that memory plays...

(When have you really cared about me? Does everyday, when you pass by me, do you think about why am I avoiding you or why you're avoiding me? I bet you don't. I do. Akeno, have you ever felt what I had done for this to happen?!)

(P-Please Ethan... C-Calm down, we c-can talk about this.) She whimpered.

(Talk about what?! How no matter what I do, you'll only ever see me as a helpless kid and that I can't measure up to someone like him?! Do you have any idea how much it hurts being treated like the little brother you're always trying to protect you... You slut! You saw me almost get killed twice and that ain't enough to gain your attention?! Akeno, what do you see in Issei that he's better than me!? He's a fucking pervert who thinks nothing but boobs and never takes anything serious! I just wanted you to notice me!)

(Ethan... p-please! You're h-hurting me...)

(Good! I want to see you in pain after you toyed with me everyday. Am I not good enough?! Why are you such a hypocrite!?)

Fuck off. I'm not in the mood... ~(Ethan)

(I loved you! I loved you, Akeno! This is never how I wanted this relationship to go, but no! You're pathetic excuse of a past suddenly vanished thanks to Issei, while I faced death every single part of my life, keeping up with you as I try to help! I lost many important people in my life, what about you? 'Oh look at me, I lost my mother, I spaced myself away from my father, uuggghhhh!', how fucking sad! Consider yourself lucky you had a mother and father to begin with! I'm scared of heading to the other side, I wanted to stay because of you! You, Akeno, you! Now.... what is there pursue this purpose? There's no one to blame, but you... I hope your happy with him, you... whore...)

(Ethan...)

(Fuck off, Rias. I don't need your damn condolences! I'm not taking shit from anyone... I'm fucking done with this damn place... if no one wants me here, then I'll just leave.)

His demons laughed and applauded. They were mocking him for this. When he made a large dent in the ground he tried to open his eyes and through the tears he saw it was still there. Akeno's blood was still on his fingers. The sight of her blood made him scream and cry even louder in sadness as Ethan desperately dug at the ground to clean it away. Even after Akeno's blood was gone, Elms kept hitting the ground as the smell was still there, haunting him.

"Kkkkkhhhhhhh.. kkkkhhhhhhh!" He curled up as he gripped his head tightly "shut up. Shut the fuck up. Shutupshutupshutup.... fucking stop!"

Ethan chuckled at the cruel irony of being saved by someone so kind only to spit it all back in her face. His laughter turned to cries of pain again as he sunk even deeper into his despair.

[Why should we? This is fun!]

[Humanity's strongest human is nothing but a frail, emotional wussy just like the rest of them.]

[Humans never learn do they?]

Keep in mind this is only day one.

3:364:24:51:02 until penalty zone ends

He needs to endure this for 4 years. Should be easy...for the demons, I mean. For Ethan, he could maybe lose his humanity if the demons were to torture him everyday, but that's a possibility. It's a 50-50 in this world. For these past 4 years, methods of mind-breaking events and enduring physical torture, only what remained is Ethan and his campfire. Listening to the crackle and pop the wood let out.

"It's time. You can now leave."

4 months later

"Oi, why are we here?"

"After 4 years of isolation, you'd think I rather stay lonely any longer. I uh.... came to say goodbye. We gotta head north, right?"

"Norse mythology? Finally, some adventure."

"I doubt anyone will recognize a 21 year old me."

"Hey, you said something about you not being older. So here you go."

"It's difficult. My body is different and I never graduated highschool. I can't just casually walk back to school and attend as I used to as I'm 21 years old."

"That is why college exist. Attend here at college."

"Oh shit. Of course!"

"Master, you've at this Academy for 2 years and still not remember a single thing about college students attending here?"

"Oi! We're grinding and leveling up most of the time, don't bash at me."

"And how will this work? Do you just say the following: 'Can I apply college here' or what?"

Nagging and nagging Ian's been doing and it's annoying Ethan for so long, saying how much Ian has served his time in that little prison. Observing from above to unveil all the chaos stupid gods and beings make a choice and how they lead them to their demise.

"Hey! .... the system gifted me something and I'm not sure - oh. Never mind, it's a travel stone."

"Sweet jesus, kid!"

"Master, that's the unity stone! It's used to travel between lands without any trouble. Use it! With this in our hands, we'll safely travel to different mythologies and explore different ways we can become stronger!"

"Huh, okay. How will it work? Do I just... huzzah!" Ethan waited yet nothing came "hm..... well this'll take quite some time. Ian, know anything about the unity stone?"

"Can't say much. Memories are fading away but I'll give it a try... open sesame! .... yeah I got nothing."

Waste of time ~(Ethan)

"Realms between realms...." Ethan activated the rune before everything immediately went black "uh... broken rune. Not my fault."

"No, wait. I been here before. Wait a lil' longer, master."

The Unity Stone calls for where shall
You travel

"Are we doing it?"

"I don't know. Up to the master."

".... take me to Asgard."

"Whoa~! Why in the sky, you ass!" Ethan yelled at the unity stone for dropping him off in the sky "Kaisel!"

His Wyvern answered his call, leaving behind a trail of black smoke before showing itself with a full on roar.

"Good boy." Ethan's jaw dropped "you guys..."

"Ahh, Asgard. Home of the Aesir gods, and other creatures that exist here."

"Asgard. For asgard!" Ethan quietly yelled, giving himself a chuckle "seen that in a movie once. Why not venture through this forest? Surely nothing top serious are waiting beyond these twigs. Head down Kaisel."

First, I gotta spend my 60 stat points... 30 on Vitality, 15 attack on Ian and 15 attack on Elle ~(Ethan)

Seems well. Already planned everything out before I turned to a new side: Asia has a few Shadow Soldiers, have artifacts that amplifies my senses and speed, applied all points to everything needed. Ready for a new beginning ~(Ethan)

Finally, Ethan could see the huge bodies of the enemies getting closer. After ordering his soldiers to get ready for battle, Elms grasped both Ian and Elle in his hands. Soon, enemies rushed forward like a horde of insects in front of his nose. However, his own numbers weren't that lacking, either. With a more relaxed expression on his face compared to his previous sojourn in this place, Ethan bid his time and then, loudly shouted out...

"Showtime!"

No, actually, he was planning to shout, 'Go, now!' But, even before he could finish his words, from somewhere high up above his head, a stupendously thick frightening pillar of flames fell in a diagonal line and swept every single enemy away. The moment that scary pillar of flames swept by, everything had melted down, whether that be demons or the ground itself. Enemies were incinerated in an instant, and familiar mechanical beeps rang one after the other in his ears.

Ethan tried to calm his trembling heart and took a look behind him. And he spotted Yajuu standing there, now twice the size of what his living counterpart grew to back in the dungeon, busy breathing out grey smoke from his mouth.

"... ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ...." was Ethan's expression "oof. Hope this doesn't cause a forest fire. "

"Pray to yourself it will not."

"Either way, master has the capacity to put it out."

Ethan smiled deeply as he went about acquiring all the loot, and after finishing that up, he climbed up on the back of Raynare, his trusty Shadow Beast Soldier. Ethan ordered his troops to move out.

"Giddy up!"

Raynare slowly began trotting forward, and the Shadow Soldiers all followed after Elms in an orderly fashion.

Number of Shadow soldiers that can be extracted: 8,800

Number of Shadow Soldiers that can be stored: 8,400

To raise their numbers, Ethan needed every last but of stat points to put into Intelligence to wish for a bigger army than currently.

Moving in one formation is a huge disadvantage on my part ~(Ethan)

Ethan thought that all 8,000 Shadow Soldiers acting as one unit was not quite efficient enough. If the individual soldier was weak, fine, this tactic made sense. But, even the regular soldiers had gone up several levels now and they could more or less hold their own against the demons and still achieve some success.
Not only that, he even had assimilated monsters from a A-Rank dungeon into his Shadow Soldier army, too. Quite obviously, the overall quality of the soldiers had risen up by a lot. What with his soldiers boasting such a mighty combat prowess, the time taken to move around and search for monsters turned out to be longer than it took to actually kill them. The thing was, each floor of the mountains was as wide as an average city. Ethan divided his soldiers into six groups of 100.

"Six groups, two rules. One, split up and defeat any enemy you come across. Two, report to me when you find something of value. Group 1 will be Raynare's, group 2 will be Njal's, Group 3 will be Yajuu's, Group 4 will Daiki, Group 5 will be Frost, and group 6 will be Kaisel." Ethan may not be possible to hold a conversation with his soldiers, but he could still communicate by using simple hand gestures "disperse."

With his command, all six groups went their separate ways.

"It'll be inefficient if all my shadows were to follow me around. I have to play smart and let them separate in an orderly fashion." Ethan spoke to both his swords

"Impressive. I always wondered why you were the top of Kuoh Academy."

"Can't stay at the bottom. I gotta give it my all...." Ethan stared into the horizon

Experience points began raining down on him from literally everywhere.

"Look at 'em go." Ethan watched his experience points climb up and formed a pleased expression "first hour of being in Asgard and I'm gaining a lot of XP."

"We are gaining a lot of XP. Gotta work on your phrasing a bit more."

"No. I'm pretty sure what I said."

Ethan drank a high-grade Mana potion since he's been watching it decrease each seconds pass by.

I'll have to use Mana potion to sustain my mana count ~(Ethan)

A few days later

"Whoa! Yajuu, you rose 5 more levels since the last time I saw you!" Ethan's eyes opened wider

Maybe it felt happy after his owner's interested gaze fell on it, Yajuu, who had reached level 16 only yesterday, stood on his hind legs and let out a roar of 'Wuuong'. Ethan wasn't the only one to enjoy the fruits of the efficient hunting, as it turned out. He grinned brightly.

"Repeat on last! Disperse."

Just like before, he divided his army into six groups and had them set off. He then took off alone, as well. He was familiar with acting alone anyway, and he also didn't really need the soldiers' help, either. After summoning Ian, Ethan lightly tossed it over his head and caught it a few times while searching for the presence of monsters.

"Motherfucker, I am not a toy!"

"But you're fun to use, so technically you're a toy." He replied

He took a quick look around. He could definitely sense their presence nearby, but he couldn't spot a single monster. When was it again? Didn't he experience something similar to this before? It was then, the ground seemed to undulate violently a couple of times, before the earth suddenly shot up. At the same time, three Superior Orgres emerged from the ground and surrounded Ethan while letting off rather unpleasant cackles. Ethan frowned deeply. Ogres took that as the sign of their prey being scared, and they scrambled among themselves to throw their wide open maws first at the head of the prey. It was to call dibs on the tastiest part of a human, the head. However, when that prey jumped up and spun around once in the air.
Even before Ethan's feet landed back on the ground, heads of the Ogres fell with soft thud first.

"Ah!" Ethan lightly clapped his hands

He finally recalled when it happened - it was the last stray with Akeno. Ethan's expression that had darkened from failing to remember brightened up immediately. It sure felt like he had gotten a load off his chest.

Vaguely recalled that stray who tactically used the ground as a friend ~(Ethan)

Ethan took care of the loot from the monster corpses, his face still bright, and began walking away again.
But, only after taking a handful of steps, he stopped again. Ethan's eyes were now nailed to the ground.
While glaring at the ground beneath his feet, he spoke up...

"So, uh... wanna come out or am I gonna force you to?"

No one could tell whether the thing that trembled just then happened to be the ground or the ogres' eyes. After slaying those beast with ease, something grabbed his attention after his mana started to decrease rapidly out of nowhere.

Someone is relentlessly destroying my soldiers right now ~(Ethan)

"Is that battle happening over there?"

"My soldiers can't regenerate enough. Whoever it is, they're much stronger." Ethan narrowed his eyes "that's Njal's group. There must someone stronger than Njal here.... this leaves me no choice, I gotta call them back."

This would be the first time this happened. The method of hunting in dispersed groups during the past four floors had yielded the highest efficiency. For sure, it were the Superior Earth golems and not High-Ranked Revenants that appeared deeper in the forest most of the time. Heck, these Superior Earth golems even employed petty tricks like hiding under the ground, too. Even then, he didn't think these Superior Earth Golems possessed such powers, to be able to push back his soldiers to this degree.

"Not only that..."

There was something weird here as well. And that would be the groups of soldiers getting attacked all happened to lack of Elite-Knights among them.

"Team Daiki and Kaisel suffered back-to-back losses. The creatures roaming in this forest are strong."

"Look at the bigger
