"Let's not freak out and jump to conclusions." Marinette said.
"But it makes perfect sense!" Adrien insisted. "Master Fu told us there were other miraculous boxes. Last year when we faced that sentimonster your ladybugs brought back the temple. So must those other boxes too! Somehow she's got a miraculous and is using it to curse you, to get your miraculous!"

"You realize the implication of that?"
"Yes." He sighed. "She knows your identity."
"Would know my identity. We're not positive about this. We're not positive it's her doing. For the moment it's just a theory."

"But, she hates you. And it all started after she slapped your hand away."

"I don't know,...If it were a matter of hate, I think Lila hates me more and definitely has hated me for longer." After a pause she added, "Now that i think of it... We haven't seen Lila for a while."

"And you will still not see her around for a long time." said Sabrina who had been passing by the stairs besides Chloé.
"You're welcome." Chloé said with a smile before they continued their way.

"That 'green tea' seems not to be as good as the 'vitamins'." Marinette muttered to herself.
"What? What did you say?" Adrien asked intrigued.
"Nothing." Marinette replied with a guilty smile.
"Marinette...." Adrien scolded.
"I swear i had nothing to do with it! I just found out last week. I don't know where her butler is getting the ideas from."
"You didn't tell him not to do it?" He asked surprised.
"Oh, but this is so good for the city." She said with a smile.

Adrien chuckled and shook his head. "Anyway,... i wish there was something i could do to help you."
"Yeah, i wish so too." She replied.
A thought then sparked in Marinette. "I... wish. The wish! Oh my goodness! Maybe the wish did it!"
A second idea came to her. "Or maybe it didn't do it and your theory is right." She added.

"My love, you're scaring me. What are you talking about?" Adrien asked concerned.
"I just thought of a couple of things that could be what's going on here."

After looking around to verify no one was close enough she looked down towards her purse. "Tikki, could this be a consequence of having made the wish?"
She looked at Adrien and added, "I mean, we knew there could be price to pay for it."

"I don't think so. It doesn't sound like a consequence from the wish." Tikki's muffled voice could be barely heard.
"You couldn't patrol with me for a whole week, remember? You were so exhausted you couldn't remain..." He looked around once again. "with your spots on for longer than a minute. And those migraines you had..."

"I agree with Adrien. Those do sound like after-wish things." Tikki said.

"Ok. How about this other theory. What if someone was at the school at the moment I revealed my identity. Then, while Paris was in chaos left the country and because of that he or she got to keep their memories. They weren't here to be affected by the wish. Could that had happened? Tikki?"
"No, that wouldn't matter. The super miraculous ladybugs would go as far as needed, do whatever needed to fulfill the wish."

"Mmm... After Hawkmoth started using that Dark Storm thing and i ran towards you," Adrien began. "I saw Nadja behind a tree. She was recording everything with her phone. I told her to get out of there, that it wasn't safe. But i don't know if she did leave." He said, then looking towards his school bag added, "Plagg, that recording was destroyed by the wish, right?"

"As SugarCube said, the ladybugs would do whatever needed to fulfill the wish."

"I wish Master Fu hadn't made me a guardian. I knew it was too soon. I knew it was a hasty decision." Marinette sighed.
"Master Fu knew you can do it. Don't despair, we'll figure this out." Adrien comforted her.

"Maybe we should call Marianne. See if she has heard something about what's happening." Marinette said.
"Yeah. That's a good idea. Mom should be about to leave, so we'll have more freedom to talk at my place."

Fifteen minutes (and thirteen falls) later they were finally at Adrien's place. Marinette felt sore everywhere, but she kept trying her best not to loose a positive attitude. By looking at his face she could see how much worried he was about her and she didn't want to make it worse.

Once inside his room both Tikki and Plagg flew outside and rested over Adrien's computer.

"Please, help yourself with anything you want from the mini fridge while I see if Marianne is online." Adrien offered.

"I have to say it. At first I had thought Adrien was just exaggerating, but now I'm convinced there's something on you Marinette. I mean, thirteen falls..." Plagg said.
"Well, in my defense, that last one doesn't really count. I mean, what are the chances of someone accidentally dropping his soda and the ice cube stopping at the exact spot where I was about to take a step!" She tried to chuckle.

"We're lucky! She do is online." Adrien said cheerfully. "I'm starting the video call."

Tikki flew towards Marinette's shoulder, while Plagg landed on Adrien's hair.

"Hello Marinette! Hello Adrien! How good to see you two!"
"Yes, we're great too. Thanks for asking." Plagg said through a mouthful of Camembert.
"Plagg, don't be rude. Remember you can't be seen through electronic devices." Adrien scolded.

"Oh, sorry!" Marianne chuckled. "Hello Tikki! And how is that cute little cheese-eating kwami doing? Devouring all the Camembert in the house?"
Plagg's eyes narrowed as Adrien laughed. "Hey! No judging lady!" he said while gulping the last of his cheese.

"Hello Marianne! How are things going in London?" Marinette asked.
Marianne was about to respond when suddenly her eyes grew wide and looked at something besides her computer. Her jaw dropped open in disbelief.

"What is it? Is there something wrong?" Adrien asked concerned.
"You are in troubles. Aren't you? Something to do with the miraculous." she asked with a troubled voice.

Marinette and Adrien looked at each other surprised.
"Well, yeah. It do may have to do with the miraculous. How did you know?" Marinette replied.
"About a week ago we were coming back from a walk and when i looked into my purse, looking for the keys i found this envelope inside," she said while grabbing the envelope from besides the computer to show it to them.

"There was a small sheet of paper with a phone number, a number from here, from London. Below it reads 'The descendants of the creators of the jewels your friends from Paris wear have the answers you seek. Answers not even those at the temple would be able to provide'," Marianne sighed. "At first i didn't know what to think. I almost threw the paper away, but something kept me from doing it."
"Answers not even those at the temple would be able to provide? Are they talking about the monks? The other guardians?" Marinette asked.
"I think so, yes. What exactly is going on over there?" Marianne asked.

Adrien and Marinette looked at each other, then at their respective kwamis.
"Perhaps you'll want to get a cup of tea and some cookies, this will take some time." Marinette sighed.

They told her how their day had started, about Cozette and what had been happening to Marinette ever since. Marianne listened carefully as they explained their theories, interrupting a couple of times to ask questions to clarify.

"Well, i agree with Adrien. I think this sounds more like someone using a miraculous on you Marinette. But, a power that increased your clumsiness... Something doesn't sound quite right. Maybe...," she said holding up the paper in her hands. "Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to investigate about these descendants. If it is true, then they could provide with a lot of information. Information to prepare yourselves better. Maybe even neutralize the powers of other miraculous over you. The possibilities are big."

"The risk is big as well. What if this is a trap?" Adrien asked concerned.
"Yes. This is too much of a coincidence." Marinette agreed.

"Perhaps. But why give me this information. I am neither a guardian nor a miraculous holder. And if this were to use me to force you to hand over your miraculous, they could had just taken me. No need for this. Perhaps i'll try the monks first. Don't worry, i'll be careful. In the mean time, keep your eyes open at all times. This seems like just the beginning of something."

They both nodded and looked at each other concerned.
