No P.O.V.

KC slowly entered the open portal. She was shaking and chewing her lip. Was she really willing to go this length to protect her family? Yes, yes she was. The portal lead to a small field overlooking a small, decently lit city at night. Nightmare stood a few yards away, gazing at the town. The others were nowhere in sight. KC slowly walked to join Nightmare in watching the buzzing area. His tentacles flicked calmly. "You know what to do," Nightmare stated, still looking forward. The girl nodded, she wanted this over with as quick as possible. It was safe to assume that the other four were scattered within the village. She closes her eyes and took a breath, gathering her remaining strength. She made her way into the city limits, everything was going on as normal. Everyone was minding their business, living their lives, unaware of what was about to happen to them. KC had to keep herself from crying as two kids ran by giggling. Not a care in the world.

She continued walking deeper into the city, aiming for the center. A red eye glowed from an ally that she passed. Horror watching her, no doubt. She pulled her hood up, her nerves starting to get the better of her. She caught someone looking at her. A Sans. Of course a f*cking Sans. His hoodie was green, an unusual detail that was a bit odd throughout the AUs. Sans' seem to have a sense about possible dangers, so this fact made her huff. KC did not want to deal with another Sans right now. She looked at him and smiled sweetly, waving nonchalantly to avoid suspicion. To her relief, he smirked and waved back before continuing on his way. Soon, she reached the middle of the small town. There was nothing else she could do. It had to be done. No more stalling. Killer walked passed her, bumping her shoulder, serving a reminder to get the job done. For them.

Screams continued to ring in her ears. This is a living nightmare- KC froze as that thought entered her head, serving as a painful reminder of a similar nightmare that overtook her so many nights. She was glad that her family wasn't here to see this. An overturned stroller lay on the ground a few yards away. KC slowly approached and bent down over it. A small baby girl lay motionless in the small carriage, it seemed to have been hit by and exposition. At least it was painless. KC winced as closed the frozen baby's eyes. She hoped Nightmare was happy, that f*cking monster was twisted. She stood as a small noise trickled behind her. Turning around to see the five members of this messed up cult. "Happy now?" She snapped at Nightmare and gestured at the absolute mess of debris and bodies surrounding them. "Quite," was his only response, along with a cocky smirk. The leader of the group looked at Horror and nodded to the younger female.

Your P.O.V.

Horror's smile widen as he walked to your side. You'd already done too much, there was really no point in reacting, this was your life now. Horror pulled down a part of your collar, revealing a section of skin near your shoulder. "Welcome to the team," Nightmare chuckled as Horror pressed a red hot brand to your skin. You clenched your teeth and fists, doing all you can to stifle the scream that threatened to destroy your throat. The brand was removed and the freezing wind didn't at all help the pain. It was a soul being stabbed through with a bone. You hissed in pain as you observed the mark. "The hell was that for?!" You asked as soon as you could keep your voice steady. "It's required." The smirk never fell from Nightmare's face. Uh huh. Sure it is. A portal once again opened. "Ladies first," Nightmare pointed into the portal, telling you to enter. You walked through without looking back at the damage you've done, damage that could never be repaired. I'm a monster.

You were left alone the rest of the night. Nightmare allowed you to go wherever you wanted throughout the castle, besides the bedrooms of course, but you stayed within your own. Maybe you could explore tomorrow, right now, you just needed a good cry. Images of Ink and Blue's faces when they see the tragedy of that poor village overwhelmed your thoughts. Disgusting. Such a waste of life. Murderer. Monster. A loud bang sounded as something in the room crashed to the ground. Your head snapped up to see a pile of broken shards on the ground, but no one in sight. Then you felt a liquid run down your face. Oh no, no, not again! Your suspicions were confirmed as two black tentacles swayed by your sides. "No!" You gasped loudly, "I'm not like him! I'm not like him! No no no stop! Pl-plEaSe..." Your body was overcome with aggressive glitches, making it fairly impossible to speak. "P-pLeaSe..."
