Covered in sweat, several scratches from bushes, and running for his life, a person could be seen deep in the forest. Behind him, a clan was following him through the tree tops. They were agile, almost seemed like they could float.
While running, our chasee reached into his pocket, and threw an object into one of the clan members; an orange cloud surrounded him, and he fell to the ground, with all his injuries from said fall instantly healed, and his skin went from pale white to healthy peach.
It wasn't a regular clan. They were vampires.
The human kept running, and parkoured over a boulder, landing in a shallow pond. The clan knew what he was thinking, but they had to try anyway; it was alredy their 4th week without food, if they didn't eat any blood soon, they'd starve. The human was exhausted, but didn't even flinch; he was in fact very calm, as he alredy lost count of how many times over-natural beings had tried to eat him. This was very normal to him.
He reached into his pocket and ate a megacure; an orange cloud surrounded him, and all his scratches from the bushes were instantly healed, slightly stunning him for a second.
Silence embraced the scene, time seemed to stop, and no one dared to make a move. But it couldn't stay that way for long.
In the blink of an eye, the clan attacked all at once, from every imaginable direction, but the human was still not nervous. He reached into his pouch, and placed a megacure in a tube-like handmade tool he had, and blew its cloud around, hitting everyone in the clan.
They all fell to the ground, and all of them, once fearless vampires, became normal humans. They were stunned by the fall, and the human used this opportunity to run away. He knew what was coming.

Before they could react, werewolves, zombies and other vampires, just as hungry as they were when chasing the human, had them surrounded, and unfortunately for the clan, they didn't have any megacures on them.

Now that he had some more time, the human went for the direction of the megacure trees, the Healbloom Field. He had scavenged several mushrooms, berries, and shot a few birds with his slingshot, to eat that day, and maybe the day after, but he still needed a less risky way to get food. He went through the hole of a big tree's trunk, and finally reached his base. His improvised garden of multiberries and toxicshrooms wasn't working. It seemed like despite all the magic in the forest, growing plants without sunlight was still impossible. But he couldn't afford sunlight. Being inside the tree canopies was the only way to be safe, any sunlight would mean places from were over-naturals could spot him. He sighed, crushed a magmaleaf and cooked the birds on the campfire. It was beginning to become night, at it seemed like that night was very special: a blood moon. He finished eating the birds, berries and mushrooms, and put off the campfire.
Hopefully, he will sleep all night, and evade the rising blood moon.
He couldn't. The sounds of screams woke him up in the middle of the night. The blood moon had begun.
He could hear how vampires were hovering above, and he could feel the grunts of far-away werewolves. For the first time in weeks, he shivered. Despite being used to the over-naturals, he was still scared of the blood moon.
Little did he know, this was only the beginning of his problems. He had been watched as he entered his base. And not only that, an eye-invasor had grown in one of the tree trunks.
Despite the world the human lived in, this was rather odd; the Healbloom Field is constantly being hit by ripe megacures falling from the trees, which made the near area have a constant aura that inhibits magic, any over-natural that enters the area becomes human, and once they leave they turn back to how they were.
But this didnt seem to stop the eve-invasor from growing on the trees, and even though it wasn't developed enough to infect the human, it could cause problems if it wasn't promptly unrooted.
The human didn't notice it. He was too busy trying to keep a calm mind from all the noise of the blood moon's influence. It was starting to become tedious at best. He heard the sound of an army; possibly undead. He knew he was safe inside his base, but his unconscious couldn't agree.
