We come to an underwater city..larger than my village...huge structures built with seaweed,wood, underwater flat rocks and shells loom majestically before me...Beautiful big mushroom like plants towering over me...and I look around like Dwai(short dwarf like creatures with bulbous bulging eyes and huge ears) ..in Giantis country...Trying to see everything at once.

"It is beautiful Riyani "...I whisper enthralled by the unique architecture and splendour of the homes in front of us...

Mer-folk waving friendly at us pop out of everywhere and stare at me curiously looking at my legs and third eye...All of them ethereal in their graceful beauty..
...
Riyani greets a few by name as we swim at a slower pace know towards the palace...Two Mer-men guarding the gate quickly open it as they see us approach..greeting Riyani with a curt.."Your highness"..and not even glancing in my direction...
...
Inside the palace...indescribable beauty awaits us..the walls made of marble flecked with gold..high rolling pillars reaching into the ceiling ...intricate mosaic shells pattern the ceiling depicting Mer-folk surrounding their king.

We open a beautiful intricately entwined seaweed door and enter the throne room.A booming voice greeting us as we got closer to the Mer in front of us seated on a solid gold and coral shell padded with anemones..."Riyani my child..welcome home..Your absence was felt throughout Mertazia ...my little princess..."...the love flowing from those few words..bringing a lump to my throat..and an ache..missing my own father settling with a thud in my heart..

"Father...I have missed you so.."..Riyani lets go of my hand and swims speedily forward hugging her father and kissing all over his face.. Eliciting a roaring laughter from him..
...
She steps aside and introduce me to her father..."Father it is my utmost pleasure to introduce you to my true friend princess Tharia of the Zahn clan..."..."Tharia my father king Titan..ruler of the seven seas,keeper of the WaterMagic and king of Mertazia..

Clumsily I try to curtsy ,pirouette or perhaps a mixture of both..as I don't know the proper introduction protocol as we meet the king. His sheer size intimidating to my small stature making me gulp as he got closer and with a laugh envelops me in a crushing hug lifting me so high I was sure to break every bone in my body if he should drop me..

"Silly child you are practically family..so many times have I been thoroughly entertained with the tales of the very spirited,warrior princess Tharia's adventures and mischievous exploits..he laughs setting me immediately at ease..and I give him a beaming smile as he (thankfully) sets me safely on my feet..or floating if you want to get technical..
...
"Father..Tharia's quest is of utmost importance and I have returned home in search of any weapon or aid that can help her defeat the demon Rukka..she quickly relays the whole tale to her father who after intently listening...faces me and says...

"I know how we are going to help you ,but we must journey into the uncharted waters of the Whirlpool of Wonders...deep within the Sea of Death...Rest now...Tomorrow we feast and celebrate your visit Tharia and the day after we will set out to the Sea of Death..." ..kindness in each word and I immediately felt a great affection to this kind king ....despite his huge built and bulging muscles...his demeanour is very gentle.

"Thank you King Titan..Your interest in my plight is greatly and utterly appreciated..No words can adequately express my sincere gratitude.. "..I look at him and Riyani smiling happily.

"Very well then...Riyani will show you to your quarters...Have a good nights rest Tharia..."King Titan bids me goodnight."Sleep well too King Titan "..I greet politely in return...Riyani bids her father a good night and we swim giggling down the corridor ..
....
Riyani brings me to a room adjacent to her own...and I slide into the humongous shell that is to be my bed...surprisingly the interior of the shell was nicely padded.. suddenly very tired..I close my eyes...and drift closer to tomorrow...where great adventure and new experiences await....
