Tracy could sense tension in the air. She looked around her, she was looking at a group of mostly men, but some women to. They were gathered around someone, Tracy couldn't see who it was through the crowed.
"They are dangerous!" The one in the centre yelled. "They control people with their minds! They are giant mind control machines!"
"Ya!" Hollered the crowd.
"We must destroy them!" Yelled the man in the centre.
"Destroy them!" Echoed the crowd. The rally wasn't what worried Tracy, it was the fact that the voice in the middle was awful familiar.

"Each of you has different powers, unique. Unlike any I have ever seen before." Lisa admitted.
"I have been lead to believe that I know what your powers can effect, judging on what you can already do."
"What else can I do?"
"Well to start off you know your powers effect the brain. Each of you can effect a different part."
But there are seven parts in the brain, and were only five people." Interrupted Ethan.
"I am well aware of this Ethan, there are others out there with the other abilities. In fact we've found people who can effect a total of six parts, so far no one can control the seventh." She turned her back on him.
Now, where was I again my dears? Ah yes Janie darling what can you do?"
"I can take peoples memories away, well not everyones I've tried others but it doesn't always work." Her eyes quickly flashed to Alex.
"Besides that I can also effect a persons decision making."
" Yes just as I thought. Darling I believe you can effect the Frontal lobe of the brain. The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that controls your reasoning, memory, planning personality, mood and more."
" It makes sense." She she said in complete amazement of what she would have to learn.
She turned to Jake. "Your turn my sweat."
"Well I thought you'd never ask. I can make a person fell sensations, like fell warmth. If I used ma powers in you you wouldn't actually be warm, but the big lump'a jello in y'r head would think yar"
"Those are sings that you effect the parietal lobe in the brain. The parietal lobe controls the reasoning, telling your left from your right, language, reading and like you can do already sensations."
"Alex, your turn." Tracy squeezed his hand reassuringly.
"Well I can make people see things that aren't real." He said quietly, he wasn't usually talkative around new people.
"Alex darling, I think that you effect the opteron lobe of the brain, you know your powers already but we will work to make them seamless and grow the time you can maintain an illusion for." Alex gave her a brief nod then looked back down at his shoes. Lisa turned to Tracy then quickly turned to face Ethan, saving her for last.
"And you, what can you do?"
"Well I can control memory like my sister, and behaviour."
"Ethan, you effect the temporal lobe of the brain, much like your sister you can effect memory but unlike her you can also control speech, behaviour, hearing, and emotions."
"Your turn sweet pea." Lisa said looking at her expectantly.
"Um, well I can control peoples movements, and.." she trailed off into a small quiet voice. "I stopped a liows heart the other day." Lisa looked at Tracy like she was a complex puzzle waiting to be solved.
"You from what I can tell can control the cerebellum lobe of the brain, you seem to have mastered it's elements completely, balance, coordination, and fine muscle control. Yet you have dyfed the rules and have managed to completely stop someones heart, which theoretically means you would also be controlling a small part of the brain stem. You have also exceeded the limits farther than anyone in controlling muscles. Fine muscle control means small muscles, yet you can control major muscles. I have many theories about how you could be doing this, and honestly almost none of them make any sense. Except maybe this one." Lisa looked her over. "You could very well be controlling the messages that the brain is sending to the nerves."

Lisa dismissed all the others and kept Tracy in the room.
"I know it's hard being different ." Lisa tried to comfort her,
"It's not being different that bothers me, it's being dangerous." Tracy admitted.
"Your not dangerous sweetie, you just need a warning for when you are getting to far in using your power." Tracy nodded her head. The older girl reached into her pocket and took out a silver necklace. The piece of jewellery was shaped like a dragonfly with teal blue stones set in its wings.
"This," Lisa said gesturing to the necklace. "belonged to the most powerful sorceress, our queen. Legend tells that if you wear it it will heat up to warn you that you need to stop." Lisa held out the dragonfly to her.
"A gift for you, to help you believe in yourself darling. You will make the right choice in the end I can tell."
Tracy fastened the clasp of the chain around her neck, she felt the cool metal against her chest.
"Thanks." She said, Lisa smiled and brought her up to her room. As soon as she entered Tracy collapsed onto the bed.
