The air pushed the hair out of Tracy's face. Her blouse fluttering in the wind. Fog tickled her toes and she was coated with mist. She gripped Alex's hand tightly and he did the same, like the only thing that mattered was staying together. Tracy wondered if the others would follow. Jake would probably, but she wasn't sure about the two Oliver teens. They felt like they had been falling forever, but her mind told her it had probably only been five minutes. Her palms grew sweaty, was this the end of her? Alex gripped her hand tighter.
"Don't let go." he whispered, "I need you to stay here." Tracy wasn't sure why he needed her but held on anyways. she felt her hand slipping, She looked into Alex's eyes. They were full of fear, fear of losing her. He looked nervous, then he let go of her with one hand. He wrapped it around her and the other followed, until the were falling and hugging at the same time.
"Are you okay with this?" he asked nervously. Tracy's insides bubbled with the warmth of his touch.
"Ya" She said nonchalantly but she knew some of her happiness had snuck into her words. They fell in the same position for the longest time. They fell faster and faster. Tracy put her head on Alex's shoulder and tried not to cry, they were going to die, she was certain. Her emotions were running high and her heart was beating fast. She wondered how she'd let Alex get dragged into this. She imagined what would happened they would fall to the ground, She would take most of the blow but they would both die. She saw his dead face. It was a sickly white his blond hair falling perfectly around his face, and his eyes. His beautiful green eyes, there was no light left in them. Tracy sobbed, this was exactly why she had always told herself she wouldn't like boys. Something always went wrong. With the wind whistling in her ears she was sure Alex wouldn't hear her, but she said it anyways.
"Alex, I think I love you." They kept falling. Then suddenly she felt her feet getting wet. Tracy looked down, a large blanket of mist covered the entire abase. They were falling slower. They slowly sank through the mist. Alex looked up, their eyes met. He held her gaze. Tracy wasn't sure if it was a trick of the mind or not but she thought she saw his face getting closer and closer. Then bang, their legs hit solid ground. Tracy and Alex tumbled to the ground. She sat up and looked around her, the grass was green, with the smallest blue flowers sprouting from the ground. Her clothes were soaked and her hair was a windswept mess. On the other side of the field a waterfall of brilliant blue water trickled and steamed. The steam floated upward making the sky covered in smoke. She heard a cough, and she looked around. There on the ground a couple o meters away laid a body, crumpled into a ball.
"Alex!" She cried out his name. The figure sat up and looked around. At the sight of her he sprang up and ran to her. He tackled her into a hug.
"You're okay. We're okay. You were right!" He cheered, "You brilliant girl you!" He grinned, Tracy blushed only her mother had ever complimented her like that before.
"Welcome Miss.Sparrow." A female voice boomed, "So you finally decided to stretch your wings and fly." From out of the misty grounds the voices oner appeared. Her hair was long and red, falling in soft curls around her face. Her skin was fair and pale but her eyes were a warm chocolate brown.
"I'm Kallee, welcome to the landing. You're real home."
Tracy looked around confused, there was no one there, her other friends were not in sight. Then there was Kallee, how did she know her name?
"There were others," Kallee said as if she had read her mind. "You're friends are coming they just jumped after you. I know you're name because we've been waiting for you, and your friends of course," She nodded to Alex. " Your mother told me the day would come when you would finally show up, she said to give it time." Kallee snorted "and look where that got her. We don't have much time left, and you have so much to learn."
"Where is my mother." Tracy demanded.
"You'll see soon enough. Now let's wait for your friends then get you freshened up."

Tracy let the warm water flow around her. The bubbles floating around and popping. She was in the bath tub in a large sweet. Once the rest of the group had arrived they had walked through the waterfall to find a big house. Thats where she was now,she had never had a bath before only showers, and she loved it. On the ledge beside her was an arrangement of about fifty different shampoos. She selected the vanilla cloves and allspice mix. After washing up she put on a robe and headed to her main room. Kallee was waiting for her
"Now for some clothes." She said more to herself than to Tracy. Kallee started by taking her measurements. Tracy was tall and slim, but still muscular. Once Kalle got to her feet she groaned.
"Who are you, Cinderella? You're feet are small, and the shape of your body will probably only fit into dresses." Kallee looked at her, "I guess I'll have to make you some. But in the meantime you'll have to wear them." She pointed to a box of dresses.
"Have fun." With that Kallee left the room. Tracy looked at the dresses, she didn't really like to wear them but what choice did she have? She selected a deep blue one, the bottom reminded her of a waterfall. She slid it over her head. She ran her hands through her messy wet hair. Looking around the room she spotted a brush, hair elastics and a vase of the blue flowers. She quickly brushed through her hair and french braided it, weaving the flowers in as she went. She heard a knock at the door and Kallee's voice rang in loud and clear.
"I found a pair of shoes that will fit you."
"Come in Tracy called." Kallee entered and looked at her.
"That look actually suits you." She commented, Tracy ignored her she still preferred to be wearing pants. Kalle dropped a pair of silver flats onto the ground.
"Dinner will be ready in five minutes. I'll send someone that has already been shown where the dining room is to come and get you." She turned and left the room. Tracy slid the shoes onto her feet. She flopped onto the bed and closed her eyes.

Tracy's mother bird perched on her shoulder.
"Well done my brave little sunbeam." She sung.
"I wish I could tell you that it's over, and that everything going to be alright. But I must be honest with you, it's not over this is just the beginning. Nothing is alright, I'm sure soon you find that out, and you have to stop it."
"How?" Tracy asked, as soon as the words left her mouth they sounded stupid. Tracy knew her mother wouldn't judge her though, so she didn't care.
"That is for you to find out, you must make you're own path."
Tracy wanted to cry, after only a few days she was done with being special. Done with her new exciting and depressing life. Her mother seemed to smile at her.
"My dear, not all is bad. Tonight will be good, enjoy yourself. I'm afraid there won't be many more chances for having fun in the near future."

A hand rested on her shoulder.
"Hey Trace you going to come and have diner?" Tracy sprang from the bed and bumped into Alex.
"Oh sorry!"
"It's okay." He purred, he looked at her, "You look beaut-nice"
"I look what?" she asked questioning his stuttering. He gave a sigh as if he was giving up something.
"You look beautiful." He said "You should see yourself."
"I can't, no mirrors." She reminded him softly. He looked at her a long time.
"You can see yourself without a mirror." He lowered himself so that their eyes were at the same level.
"Look at your reflection in my eyes." He suggested. She did she looked a long time, she finally knew what she looked like. She knew that she had blue eyes.
"Thank you"she whispered, she realized his face was only inches away from hers. She closed her eyes, no one had ever been that close to her. She could feel his breath on her face.
"Trace?" He said, she looked up. His expression looked different than usual. She didn't question it.
"Alex?" she said quietly. He took a step closer and closed the space between them, his lips on hers. Tracy felt happier than she had ever felt in her life as warmth spread through her body. When they broke apart she laid her head on his shoulder.
"I heard what you said." He whispered, she smiled and he kissed her again.
