*Third Person's POV*

Bree and Skylar watched Kaz and Oliver stack another piece of ham on their gigantic sandwich. "There is no way you're gonna be able to eat all of that." Bree pointed out as Skylar nodded in agreement as she added, "That sandwich is the size of you and Kaz put together."

"I'll be impressed if they do eat all of it." Justin commented, standing in between the two girls with his arms folded across his chest. The whole penthouse began to shake then as the sandwich toppled over and the five teens looked around. "Des." Justin was the first one to take off running upstairs with Bree and Skylar behind him, followed by Oliver and Kaz.

***

I was in the girls' dorm, laying down on my bed and just playing on my phone; I was dressed in a pair of black joggers, a long, dark red long-sleeve shirt, still barefoot, and my short, brown hair was left down. I didn't feel too well and just felt really sick.

I sniffle and then sneezed, letting out a tired groan; The loudness of the buzzing inside of my head had seemed to intensify now more than ever since I'm sick. A loud ringing then sounded throughout my ears and spread inside of my mind. I drop my phone and roll on my side, covering my ears with my arms, my hands wrapped around the back of my head.

The room began to tremble then as I squeeze my eyes shut. I didn't open my eyes until one hand held my arm, making me look up at who was in the room now. Justin was standing beside my bed as Bree, Skylar, Kaz, and Oliver was approaching us also. I sit up, trying to hear them speak but couldn't due to the loudness inside of my head.

I look down, shaking my head, trying to calm down the noise. "Des? Des." Justin's voice managed to break through the loud rumbling, ringing, and buzzing noise inside of my head. It finally calmed down some as I control the tremors throughout the penthouse and look up and over at my brother who had sat down on the bed beside me, his hand now on my shoulder. "You alright?"

"I'm- I'm sick." I murmur, standing up to my feet but stumbling a little as Justin steadied me, "Call Big D and Douglas. It- It's not just the flu." I sneezed again just as the person standing in front of me- Oliver- shifted into a rooster. I sniffled, "Oliver?"

Everyone widened their eyes and looked at the rooster beside us and back at me. "Oliver, can you speak or are you a complete rooster now?" Kaz asked his best friend.

Rooster-Oliver let out a clucking sound and commented, "How am I a rooster!? What happened? Des!?"

"I- I told you I'm sick and that-that it's more than the flu!" I reply, moving out of the room to go find Donald and Douglas, which was in mission command with Chase. I cough some just as a vase I just passed exploded into pieces, making us jump in startle. "Okay then."

The six of us entered the hyperlift and was sent down to mission command instantly, which made me more nauseous than I had already felt. I run to a separate corner and vomited, letting out a disgusted groan. I move over to the group who now stood beside Douglas, Donald, and Chase. They had just explained what happened to Oliver and my problem.

"Big D, why- why am I sick? I never get sick-" I start as Douglas led me over to a stool as I sat down on it, shivering desperately.

Donald began to check my temperature and also explained, "You didn't get sick because of your healing ability, and now that you don't have that ability anymore... you can get sick now."

"The common flu might be different for you, D, because of you're-" Douglas began as I finish for him, "From another world? Yeah, I'm starting to think that because whenever I- I sneeze again, one of you guys will turn into some kind of animal like Oliver here."

I felt one coming as I add, trying to hold the sneeze in as best that I could, "I feel like-" Before I could finish that sentence, I sneezed and the nearest person on my side- Kaz- shapeshifted into a goat. I sniffle and murmur apologetically, "So- Sorry, Kaz."

Donald removed the thermometer and looked at it with wide eyes, moving the back of his hand across my forehead and withdrew it quickly, letting out, "Wow, you're burning up!"

"It's her powers. They're glitching." Chase spoke up, "She can control the elements, also."

"He's right. I- I don't have any control over m-my own powers right now." I admit quietly, now feeling lightheaded and dizzy. Then a cold, unsettling feeling overwhelmed me again, but this time was different.

Instead of his voice speaking inside of my mind telepathically, he appeared in the room as we all look over at him. "Get- Get out of here." I tell him weakly while standing back up but staggering as Chase and Douglas held me up, both standing on each side of me.

"Is this-?" Donald began towards me, looking from me to him repeatedly while I slowly nod.

"The supervillain known as Hive also my uncle." I mutter.

Justin immediately stepped in front of me protectively, knowing what the man is capable of doing and how important I am to the guy. "She's right. Leave." He told Philip aka Hive who simply smirked.

"And let my dear niece die?" The villain spoke up, continuing to walk forward as the team, Donald, and Douglas moved me even more behind them protectively. "I know what's wrong with her. After all, I was from her world as well. This isn't some 'flu'. And it's only going to get worse, unless I help."

"Don't- Don't trust a single word that he says." I speak up, trying not to show the pain that I was currently in.

My uncle simply smirked and moved two of his fingers, splitting the team in two separate lines, a clear path towards myself. He pinned them in their spots and walked over to me. "Why would I lie about something like this? Why would I lie that you're currently dying? Just come with me and I will give you the cure." He started.

"Go with you? No." I insist, my voice unwavering.

"I really wanted you to go willingly, but I suppose I'm just going take you anyway. You're no good dead. I need you alive for now. So, I'm going to heal you and you're gonna live." Hive commented with a sigh, turning his back on me. "Maybe you'll go willingly... if I was to spare your little family here?"

"Des-" The team and the grown Davenport brothers began as my uncle shut their mouths with his power.

"F-Fine, just let them go first." I sighed, not strong enough to fight him right now due to the sickness inside of me. I can barely control my powers. Wait. Just let go.

I wouldn't do that if I was you. His voice chimed in my thoughts.

"Open the portal to Aerofexus first." My uncle instructed me as I shake my head a little and reply, "I- I can't. My powers are a bit unsteady at the moment if you hadn't noticed. The portal could lead to the moon, Nevada, anywhere."

"Well, you might want to focus and get it right the first time if you don't want to see your family die like everyone else in your life." Philip remarked, slowly clenching his fist as the team began to slowly lose their breath.

Focus. I shake my shaky hand outwards and flicked it hesitantly, thinking of my home realm, just as a purple portal appeared right in mission command. On the other side of the portal, there was my world, Aerofexus in the Malachite Realm. "Th-There." I miserably mutter, not wanting him in my home world or even here.

Hive walked towards me, grabbed my arm, and jumped through the portal while dragging me with him. The portal closed as we appeared at the gate leading to the path of my family's castle. "You're here... What- What do you want me for?" I question him.

"Isn't it obvious? The cure is here." My uncle answered, "We just go retrieve it. And we might want to hurry because you don't have much time left."

*Back on Earth*

The eight people remaining in mission command suddenly dropped to the floor after the villain had released them. "Everyone okay?" Donald asked his brother and the team as they all stood back up and brushed themselves off.

"No, I'm still a goat!" Kaz answered as Oliver added, "And I'm still a rooster!" They looked down at the two animals who were both shaking their heads.

"Mr. Davenport, what're we gonna do? Des is in another realm with that man that she fears, and to make matters worse, her powers aren't working right while she's sick like this." Skylar spoke up.

"We can use their wormhole transporter to travel to her realm also." Chase commented, his arms folded across his chest. He wanted to get his girlfriend back home and away from Hive. He grabbed the tech behind a cyberdesk and showed them.

"Oliver, Kaz, I'm sorry, but you two will have to sit this one out, being that you're farm animals." Donald told the boys who was now turned animals.

"Okay, gather around me." Chase told the rest of the team as the rooster and goat known as Oliver and Kaz stepped back from them. Chase put in the location of Destiny's home realm and pressed the button on the remote, sending the six of them to the world known as Aerofexus.

They looked around the place and over at the castle in the distance. "Wow, this place is really beautiful." Bree remarked, looking over at her brother and Donald, "No wonder she didn't want to return to Earth."

"That wasn't the reason." Donald commented, "She wanted to be with her family-"

"And now she's being took from her family." Justin murmured.

"We have to stick together. Her world is sort of like, in Des's words, a fairytale. There's forest trolls, which are not friendly- at all, especially if they know we're family to Des." Chase spoke back up.

"Trolls? How bad can they be?" Bree scoffed and shrugged it off.

"Wait until you meet one. Hopefully, though, we won't have to encounter one- because the only thing to defeat them is by Des's earth ability." Chase replied.

"Let's get moving." Douglas said as everyone walked on the path towards the castle.

***

I stop and lean against a tree, breathless and just utterly weak. "How- How much further do we have to go to get this so-called cure?" I question the guy.

"If I know your mother, my sister, which I do, she found it and stored it in the family vault at the castle." Philip answered, his hands clasped behind his back as he turned and looked at me. "Come on, not much further." My silver heart locket began to glow a golden color as he noticed this and let out a sigh. "Terrific. Your family is here now." He muttered.

I glance down at my glowing locket and felt Chase in my realm and breathed a sigh of relief. "You do know that in this realm, true love also known as soulmates always find each other. My mom and dad were soulmates and-" I speak up.

"Yes, you and that bionic boy are also soulmates. I am well aware of that fact." He cut me off, "But, just know, if they interfere with our little mission, they're good as dead. Do you understand?"

"Crystal." I force a smile and straighten back up, following him down the path to my castle. We continue to walk down the path as I sneeze twice in a row, turning a squirrel into a frog and a deer into a butterfly. My throat began to tickle as I then coughed, making a tree beside me explode. I quickly stumble out of the way of the falling tree and blink away the grogginess.

We finally approached the castle as I nodded at a royal guard to let us inside; We move in the castle as Hive led me down a series of hallways, dark corridors, and finally stopped at a large framed picture of my mother, my father, and newborn me. He grabbed my hand, pulling me close to the picture, and pressed my palm on the wall really close to the frame; The portrait moved and revealed the inside of my family's vault.

"Whoa." I murmur as both of us stepped inside.

My uncle looked over at me and simply explained, "Blood magic. Your parents charmed the vault where only they and their daughter, you, could access it. If you came with me and joined my side, I could show you more of your true power." He looked over the room, searching for whatever was supposed to help me.

I grunt as pain overwhelmed me as I fall onto the floor on my knees, my arms holding my waist tightly. "If- If you really do have a c-cure... now would be a gr-great time to... give it to me." I mutter, shivering from my ice power freezing my insides and then sweating from my fire power. It kept freezing and heating up repeatedly, so I would shiver from the cold and then just start pouring sweat.

Hive pulled out a small wooden box and opened it, moving his fingers over the contents of it and pulled out a vial of glowing blue potion; He started to hand it to me as I start to reach for it as he withdrew it from reach, beginning, "First, open up a portal back to Earth. Your friends are on their way, so I can't have them stopping me."

I noticed a small, circular purple stone hidden in his other hand. There's both light and dark magic. You are light magic and very powerful, Destiny, use it. My mother's soft voice spoke through my mind while I gasp in pain, feeling my blood boil due to my water ability. Bruises started to form all over my arms due to my earth ability as I look down at it and then squeezed my eyes shut and felt a small stone in my pocket as I reopen my eyes.

"Anytime, Destiny, unless you want to die." Hive spoke again, impatiently, while he slightly waved the vial of magical potion in front of me. I weakly flick my wrist, opening up a small portal as he handed me the potion just as he jumped through the portal, returning back to Earth.

I drink the contents inside of the vial and then drop the glass, collapsing on my back and let out a scream of agony, and then slip into a brief unconsciousness, darkness enveloping my sight.

*Chase's POV*

I stop in my tracks and could actually feel Des's pain and I know where she is now. She had once told me that true love and soulmates and magic was very real in her realm. She had told me that her parents were soulmates and that the two of us was also soulmates- true love.

Des had explained to me that, in her world, soulmates will always find one another no matter what. Plus, they could sometimes feel each other's pain or emotions. Like I am experiencing now, I guess.

"Chase? What is it?" Skylar asked as everyone looked over at me, stopping as well.

"I- know where Des is exactly at." I answer, looking over at Bree and Skylar, "Use your speed to bring us to that castle and inside." The two girls nodded and grabbed a hold of mine, Douglas's, Justin's, and Donald's arms, super speeding us through the forest and inside of the castle. We stop as I lead us down a series of hallways, dark corridors, and finally stopped at a large framed picture that revealed the inside of what must be Des's family's vault.

Justin was the first one to notice his sister on the floor as he rushed over to her and knelt beside her; Skylar was on her other side, also knelt beside her; Justin then helped sit Destiny up who wrapped one arm around his arm that was wrapped around her waist lightly.

"You're okay, you're okay." Justin reassured his sister softly, his chin now resting on top of her head as she closed her eyes and nodded.

Douglas and Davenport patted each of my shoulders as I nod at them, not moving my eyes off of my girlfriend, relieved that she's okay.

***

"The cure worked, you're healed." Donald confirmed, looking over my vitals once more while Douglas checked my chip to make sure that everything really was alright.

"And since you're better, we're back to our normal selves." Kaz added, gesturing to him and Oliver who was standing beside him.

"How do you feel, D?" Douglas asked, his hand on my shoulder.

"A lot better... You know how I had told you that I was still feeling kind of drained from using all of that power to heal you from what Reese had done?" I answer as he nodded, "I don't know. I feel, I guess, stronger now, more... powerful."

"Well, I'm just glad that you're okay and home now." Justin spoke up with a small smile. I smirk and remark, "Did you guys ever doubt that I wouldn't be okay?" They either laughed or rolled their eyes and smiled also, hugging me tightly.

"Uh, Kaz? Did you seriously chew on my purse?" Bree commented after we all had parted from the hug and she had picked up her chewed up purse.

"Hey, I was a goat. Don't judge me." Kaz replied, turning and exiting mission command through the hyperlift as we laugh, shaking our heads.
