her. As the vehicle drove by, it was followed by a set of chasing police cruisers.

Y/N looked at the chase and gritted his teeth, squirming in his seat. He brought his head over to Caitlin. To his surprise, she was actually smiling back at him.

Caitlin: Go. It looks like they need your help.

Y/N: Are you sure?

Caitlin: Yeah. It was bound to happen today, eventually. Honestly, I'm surprised we got to dinner before being interrupted. 

Y/N: But I don't want to interrupt our nice evening.

Caitlin: Just go. Besides, our meal isn't here yet. You've got time. But if you leave me with the check, Y/N L/N, I swear to God you will be running without those golden boots of yours in bare feet.

Y/N grinned back at her. He got up before taking off in a red blur. He put on his suit and chased after the runaway vehicle. Caitlin grinned, watching him do what he did best. She then took another sip of her wine, softly exhaling.
