"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Levi and Five looked at Eleven with wide eyes as the girl along with the other outcasts turned to Five's shout.

Twelve gaped at his sister's slicked-back hair, black outlined eyes, and her dark clothes in awe as Five looked confused and weirded out.

"Bitchin'" Was all Eleven said while smirking and sharing a look with Kali.

Twelve clutched Ben and his new comic closer to his chest and gave the outcasts a hesitant smile. "Want to be bitchin' too."

Kali raised a brow at the boy before smiling softly. "Let's go."

Levi grinned and followed after Dottie and Kali up the stairs, nodding at Five to follow them, which he does.

"I'll wear the leather, but I'm not putting that black shit on my eyes." Five grumbled, crossing his arms.

Both Dottie and Levi had been trying to convince Five into the makeover since Levi was already done, with all black clothes on, other than his oversized jean jacket.

He had black eyeshadow around his eyes, making the bright blue eyes stand out even more with his natural curly hair gelled into a quiff.

"Come on!" Dottie whined, holding the palette of eyeshadow in her hand.

Five shook his head with a glare, "I'm not doing it."

"Fine." Dottie scowled, shoving the large leather jacket into the boy's arms. Five slipped it on over his already all-black outfit.

"Badass." Levi breathed out looking at his best friend with wide eyes causing Five to chuckle.

"Thanks"

The boys followed Dottie downstairs seeing Kali and El talking and the others waiting.

Five put on a blank expression while crossing his arms over his chest, leaning against one of the pillars in the middle of the room. "So why do we need to look like this exactly?"

Axel rolled his eyes at the boy, already annoyed with Five's presence. Kali caught the look, sending daggers at the man. Even if she and Five didn't get along, she still respected him, and they have important plans then to listen to Five and Axel bicker even if it is slightly amusing.

"You'll see," Kali smirked.

Levi came to the conclusion that vehicles were weird. All he knew was that weird things happen if he is in a car. Or in his current situation, a large brown van.

He watched as Axel headbanged his head to the heavy metal music playing on the radio as Mick sat in the seat next to him, blowing their cigarette smoke in his face while managing to keep their eyes on the road as Mick drove.

Twelve looked towards Five, confusion etched on his face. Five just shook his head with a shrug, trying to ignore the dancing of Dottie next to him, his eyes connected on Funshine's amused expression.

Five rolled his eyes so hard someone would have thought they'd get stuck. Of course, he was tagging along on something he didn't really want to be apart of. None of the group told Lev and Five where they were going dressed like a goth.

Five was left in the dark, he only ever came along to protect. How was he supposed to protect, if he doesn't know what he's up against?

As he was in his thoughts, Levi was watching in sheer curiosity as Kali and El went through masks. Levi's favorite one was the pink carebear face from what Kali told him.

The boy fiddled with his plush most of the time, tugging on each tentacle three times, stopping, then repeating the process over and over to try and stop his raising thoughts and his just as fast heart.

The boy's head snapped up as the van stopped and the group started climbing out. Levi lagged behind as he noticed Five not walking towards the door of what looked to be a gas station.

"I'm gonna stay with Mick." Five stated, leaning against the van, catching the boy's look.

Twelve nodded and followed El, grasping her hand with his free one.

The group walked into the small gas station, the others splitting up as Kali turned to the one man at the counter who worked there. "Your bathroom's leaking."

Levi furrowed his brows, looking towards the bathroom, not seeing anything as he watched the clerk curse and run towards the bathroom, but Levi brushed it off.

Maybe it's her powers, he thought.

Axel turned towards the group, "Okay contestants, we have a minute. Let's begin your supermarket sweep!"

Levi tilted his head, confused but he followed behind Dottie, looking around the store, looking at the shelves of unfamiliar things.

His eyes eventually landing on a bag of chips with fire on it, grabbing it in curiosity he shrugged tucking the small bag in his jean jacket.

"Hey, put that down."

Levi looked up, his breath hitching as he sees the chubby clerk holding a gun to Axel's head with a harsh glare. Swallowing harshly, the boy glanced at the window with slightly teary eyes, slowly moving towards it he ignored the warning look Dottie gave him.

Twelve made it to the window without being noticed, he nervously tapped on the glass softly, grabbing Five's attention from where he was at the van.

Five squinted his eyes in confusion, walking closer to the door, his eyes widening when he faintly sees the gun in the unknown man's hand.

Five didn't hesitate to teleport into the store, pushing Axel out of the way as the clerk shot their way. The bullet barely missing Five's head.

Levi bit his lip so hard he tasted blood, gripping Ben tightly, he closed his eyes, trying to concentrate on his very own power he had never really had experience with.

Five smirked, watching in the corner of his eye, flicker, before disappearing completely, becoming invisible.

The group, except Five and El, watched in amazement as the gun was taken out of the old man's hand by the invisible force.

Levi turned around quickly towards the group, smiling as he made himself reappear, not knowing the man was about to tackle him from behind.

Five was about to save the boy when El glared, sending the store worker flying back as she used her powers, the man knocking over shelves as he fell to the ground unconscious.

The group of older misfits gaped at the scene before a loud alarm blared making Levi flinch. The group all ran out of the store, shouting at Mick to drive before they all scrambled into the van quickly, the tires screeched loudly as Mick pulled out of the lot.

Five looked around the group, seeing the new items in their arms. "Did you idiots take that stuff?"

Levi shamefully nodded, feeling bad about it while the others just nodded not caring, causing Five to groan, leaning back in his seat.

"I didn't sign up for this."
