'So how can you even think of stopping two literal King of gods on clashing?'

"Are you dumb? I can't stop them, they're too crazy. If I want to stop them then I need to kill them."

'And you said you have a King's mentality?'

"I have a King's mentality, not an idiot's."

'What a bitch ass reason.'

"As if you can do anything better."

Regis keeps on spitting bullshit on me. It's early in the morning just after sunrise and I'm still stuck on this hospital bed.

'Who do you think is that on your dream? Man! that dude is cold as fuck!'

"I don't know but I agree."

The reason why Regis talked about Kezess and Agrona again is because of my dream last night.

"Just base on the appearance, it could be Kezess."

'Nah, it could be just an old ass Asura from the memory of that body.'

"It's still possible for that to be him."

'If that's him then he'll fold you in half under a millisecond.'

"That's why I'm saying that I'll avoid combat against the asuras at least for now. I still don't know if I can defeat a full grown Asura."

"I think you can do it, barely."

I snapped my head where the voice is from and saw Agrona sitting on a chair just by the door.

"It seems like you're in good shape now so why not come with me?"

"To where?"

"Somewhere"

I groaned at Agrona's response. This guy really likes to disclose information and won't reveal it until the last minute unless it's important.

"Get dressed, We'll go somewhere."

"How so?"

He threw something at me and I caught it. It was my dimension ring. Agrona got out of the room and I changed into a simple white button up and a trouser with a pair of my ascent boots.

I tied my hair before opening the door and saw Agrona standing just outside of the door frame.

"Changed my mind, catch this and eat it for now."

"Huh?"

I'm just about to question him but he kicked me in the stomach and I landed straight on the bed. Regis went out of my body and tried to attack Agrona but he also got kicked.

Agrona threw something at me again but this time I didn't have the time to catch it so it hit my stomach.

"Eat that and go to my office whenever you want. I still have work so go later."

And just with that he closed the door and left.

'What the fuck is he? I know that he's strong base on your memories but holy molly.'

"tsk We got tossed like ragdoll."

'he's faster than that Asmodeus guy.'

It might be annoying but I totally agree. Agrona is much faster than Asmodeus and seems like he didn't hold back on his speed. Of course he held back with his strength but his strength control is out of this world.

Kicking me faster than I could ever react. And controlling it's force so that I'll be flown away exactly to the bed is insane.

Regis then moved to my side of the bed and grabbed some with his mouth.

'He said eat this right? '

“Yeah."

It was a big core, I don't know who or what it is from but it definitely is a core of a mana beasts.

“I'll just absorb it."

'Nah, Eat it'

“Why would I?"

'Just instincts and you're a proud Asura right? So eat that shit.'

I glared at Regis and grabbed the core out of his mouth. I cleaned it with water magic and wiped it with the bed sheet.

'Dumbass why are you cleaning it? I don't even have any body fluids in me.'

“You're disgusting."

'I'm a majestic sentient weapon! I don't need things like that I only need mana.'

“Shut up”

I opened my mouth and bit the core. It's a very large core but I miraculously managed to bite half of it. The core didn't taste a thing. It's like a candy without any flavors on it.

I finished the core with two bites and saw Regis with his mouth agape.

“What?"

I asked confused.

I just saw this guy, my masochist master eat a giant fucking core and he ate it as if it was a cupcake.

“What the fuck?"

“Since when can you speak?"

I slipped, I've only been communicating with him through mind so I can mess with him in the future but I slipped.

“haha just now?"

"Why do you look surprised?"

Huh? He doesn't know? He should atleast feel that shit but he didn't?

“You don't know?"

“No?"

“Oh, Are you fucking serious? You didn't feel that shit?"

“Feel what? I feel completely normal."

“Nah, you just turned into a snake."

“Pardon?"

“Bitch! Your jaw literally fucking parted and your cheeks broke down just to fit that thing in your mouth! And that shit returned to normal like nothing happened!"

“What?"

“Oh you're iris is now a slit too."

Now he looks puzzled as me. just  what the hell is going on.

“Probably some basilisk trait."

Yup he just accepted that easily. He might've said it just like that but he'll overthink that shit in a few days.

"Yeah, you're a fucking snake alright."

I walked out of the room and walked. Not to Agrona's office but to Sylvia's room. After a while, I arrived and entered the room.

Nothing has changed these past three years. Sylvia still looks the same, and her condition is as stable as before. Agrona really is taking care of her.

The room has changed a bit with some furnitures being replaced but what stood out out of all in the room are the flowers in a vase on the desk nearby the bed.

The flowers looked out of this world with its bright white petals and the purple center of it reminding me of Sylvia.

I sat in a chair and sat there for a while just sitting and staring at my first master in this world.

'So this is the Princess of the Indraths huh.'

Regis spoke while inside my core but I didn't mind him. I just sat there, with close eyes doing nothing, just embracing the peace and solitude that's been given to me this time.

After some time, I final opened my eyes and stood up. I returned the chair from its original place and walked to the door.

I looked back for the last time to grandma and exited the room.

“You have arrived later than I thought but it gave me time to think a bit so I'll let it pass."

Agrona said walking up to me. He touched my shoulder and didn't said anything for a second.

“Now-

The surroundings changed from the office to a wide plainfield with dead and charred grass.

-I will start training you for a bit.”

I threw a right hook to Agrona's face but he dodged it by a millimeter. I continued throwing punches and Agrona finally stopped dodging and caught my fist.

“Fighting skills are top tier. High enough to make me use my hands. But is it enough though?"

I know what will happened next, my instinct told me what it is, but I didn't manage to react. Agrona's jab hit me square in the face and made me fall on my back.

I immediately got up and continued the fight. Agrona dominates me in all possible way but I atleast know what the right moves to do to lessen the damage.

“Grey, it is indeed wise to hide some of your cards but if you hide too many, then you're only giving your enemy a chance to take all your chips."

He threw me down to the ground and the earth below me broke down. He followed up with a stomp to the chest but something crashed into him, making Agrona be pushed away.

“Regis!"

“Dumb princess! What's the point of a majestic weapon if you're not using it!?"

“Hoh? The weapon talked."

“Shut up snake! Now get up princess!"

I got up again but I can already feel that my face got beaten quite badly. My Asuran lineage made it heal but it isn't healing as fast as it's supposed to be.

“An Asura's body is mostly made out of mana so a bit of decay mana will hurt."

Agrona read through my mind easily.

“Your squashed up faced tells me everything Grey."

I ran towards him with Regis and now used magic against him. Soul fires, metals, acids, decay winds are everywhere but Agrona just keep blocking it.

Our fight isn't even ten minutes long but I now need to use this. Mana disappeared from my hands and I absorbed some of the purple fire from Regis on both my hands.

“I surely don't want to be hit by that so I'll dodge."

Regis grew into a giant flaming wolf and both of us went for Agrona. Agrona's speed increased drastically. We couldn't hit him even with both of us moving at top speed.

I started to use eclipse step but this time with the purple fire as the medium, I became even faster. This though, damaged my legs a bit. And it won't last if I use it continuously. Even with all this effort, I couldn't make the purple fire reach Agrona.

“Having a technique that resembles an Asuran mana art. You really are something, Grey."

Suddenly, Agrona disappeared from my sight. I can't see him from any direction so I changed my approach, my instinct took over.

A backhand almost slapped me in the face but my body dropped it self a half second earlier. I eclipsed step out as I need to create more distance.

Now that I've reached this far from fighting him, even though I know that he's not taking me seriously. I want to atleast make him use some of his hidden mana arts.

I activated realmheart, Agrona noticed it too. I immediately stopped time and rushed to Agrona.

If I can't defeat him then I atleast need to deal even a scratch. Regis went back in my core and

I coated my fist with the purple fire to strike Agrona with it. But it didn't happen. I released static void and immediately got hit square in the stomach.

After tumbling on the ground multiple times, I brought myself up. Only to be hit by a kick on the back of my head.

I activated static void again and escaped Agrona's onslaught. I healed myself with soul fire and took a battle stance again as I released static void.

A fist again welcomed me from the world of ever moving time. I expected this to happen again so I managed to grab his arms and perform a judo throw. I bent my body to the back and pulled Agrona's whole body to the ground. He was about to hit it but he disappeared. And I got slammed on the ground instead.

“Amazing performance but you'll need more than your first phase to land a hit Grey."

“sigh I landed a few hits though?"

"I caught all of it."

“What about the thing just now?"

“You're halfway there but you failed."

“Agrona, how can you move inside the static void?"

“You tell me."

“When you disappeared from the static void. All I can remember is the moment I'm about to hit you."

"Doesn't that mean I got out of static void at that moment?"

“No, it's impossible to get out of it unless you can move inside it. You didn't move there."

Agrona grinned widely as he heard my words.

“You've grown, really. I'm quite proud."

“Well thank you. But give me answers."

“Indeed, I moved inside the void. And I deleted your memories before I got out of it."

“Does this explain what happened yesterday? When your gloves disappeared?"

“Of course, the fire from the god rune of destruction. Even that could damaged me. It burned my hand and wrist so I amputated it. And regenerated it back."

“I see."

Even though he revealed so many things. I'm still in the dark, the only thing he confirmed is his ability to delete memories. Not about how he can move in static void and how he healed his arm.

“If... If I manage to make your cards show. Will you explain it to me?"

“Heh, I will but I'm warning you. It will be futile, you won't be able to learn anything."

“Doesn't matter."

I know what to do now. I need to see it to myself. I will make Agrona Vritra show one of his hidden cards by this.

I ignited both my hands with purple fire or fire of destruction on Agrona's words. I need to hit him with this so he'll need to heal it. I need to see it with my own eyes.

Agrona's grin remained on his face as I moved forward. I activated realmheart to it's maximum. I felt my body screaming but I didn't stop.

I activated static void and immediately felt something different. It seems like I can now do more than just stop time.

Suddenly the space around me became different. I summoned destruction on the palm of my hands and fired it towards a Agrona's previous position.

I deactivated realmheart and eclipsed step towards Agrona who can now move. Once I'm close to him, I activated realmheart again and

Boom

Agrona's figure in the unmoving space of static void got hit by the destruction I sent from the pocket dimension. I needed enough destruction, I needed enough time. Even though I created a pocket dimension, it is just a fluke.

Realmheart turned off automatically as I was now insufficient of producing enough mana.

Agrona is being burned by the flames of destruction. I didn't just kill him right? What do I even say to everyone if I accidentally killed him here? Who will rule Alacrya now?

The fire dissipated from Agrona's body and what I saw confused me to my core.

“You really managed to make me reveal one of my hidden cards. Marvelous!"

There I saw Agrona Vritra with his newly regenerated body and a Fiery red hair. Bright red runes all over his body and golden flames covering it.
