"when are you going to stop being this way?" seonghwa asked, walking into san's room where he was sprawled out on his bed on his back. "never" san's voice was muffled due to the pillow that he placed over his face. he had been staying locked in his room, in that exact position since he came home last night.

seonghwa sighed and walked over to the bed. he lifted the pillow from san's face, causing san to wince. "scoot over" he instructed, nudging san. "what's going on?" seonghwa asked after sitting in silence for a few minutes.

san shrugged, not even glancing at seonghwa. with all that has happened in the past few days, the one thing swirling in his mind was wooyoung. since last night, he was hoping that he'd wake up regretting kissing wooyoung because maybe he was caught up in the moment. he soon came to realize that he wasn't caught up in the moment and he didn't regret kissing wooyoung. he liked it, he enjoyed it so much he wanted to do it again.

the whole time, san was trying to sort out his feelings. between breaking up with jiyeon and feeling a spark with wooyoung, san was confused. he was confused on how he could feel something towards someone so quickly after getting out of a long relationship. he also started to wonder if he was being unfair or selfish. for the past 4 years, he knew for certain that he loved jiyeon, it seemed that his love for her had faded away with time and that was unfair to jiyeon because san knows she still loves him with the same intensity she always had. and wooyoung - san knew he messed up big time with him. he was so into how he felt towards wooyoung that he failed to consider wooyoung's feelings.

"yunho's been calling. he came over yesterday too. he's really worried about you" seonghwa mentioned softly. this time, san turned to look at seonghwa. in all honesty, he forgot about yunho. "he's being dramatic" san said. san wasn't mad at yunho necessarily, he was upset that yunho even mentioned anything to jiyeon.

"maybe you should hear him out. you know he wouldn't do anything to hurt you". san sighed and sat up, "later. i'm not in the mood right now". he felt seonghwa's gaze on him, "what?" he asked.

"it's not just yunho, is it? something else happened, that's why you didn't come home yesterday". sometimes san wished seonghwa wasn't as observant as he was. it didn't do him any favors, considering this way san couldn't hide anything from seonghwa.

"i finally broke up with jiyeon" san blurted, hoping that it would get seonghwa off his trail. no one had to know about wooyoung since it wasn't going to happen anyway. seonghwa furrowed his eyebrows, "are you upset about it?". san shook his head, "no. i feel bad about how i did it though. i didn't explain anything to her, i just broke it off".

"i'm guessing she didn't take it well then", seonghwa smoothed his fingers through san's hair in an attempt to neaten it. "of course not" san snorted, "i'm relieved it's over but i feel super guilty".

"you've been with her for a long time. you should've told her how you felt. think about how she feels, she loves you and you just broke up with her with zero explanation. i'd be upset too". san grumbled, he already knew that but seonghwa saying it out loud made him feel a lot worse than he already was.

"talk to her, you owe her that much". san nodded, he was planning on doing that anyway, "i will. after she cools down".

seonghwa nodded, but he wasn't completely satisfied. after living with san and becoming close to him, it was clear that it wasn't yunho or jiyeon that made san this way. it didn't look like san was going to say anything so seonghwa decided not to push it out of him.

"do you want to do something? we could catch dinner or something" seonghwa suggested and san raised an eyebrow. seonghwa didn't often ask san to hang out with him outside of their apartment unless they were in a group. they both were big homebodys and their idea of spending time together was renting a movie and ordering in food. nonetheless, san spent all day in his room, it wouldn't hurt to get some fresh air.

"sure" he replied and seonghwa smiled at him.

"how come we've never eaten there before? the pizza was pretty good" seonghwa asked as they walked out of the pizzeria. "we don't eat pizza that much" san shrugged, "should we head back?" he asked seonghwa, digging into his pants pocket for his car keys.

"nah. let's walk for a bit. i'm never in this area" seonghwa pulled san by his arm, heading towards the park. "you would be if you went out" san pointed out but allowed seonghwa to drag him.

"it's so pretty" seonghwa gushed and san chuckled. seonghwa was right though, the area was really nice, especially at night. the pathway was illuminated by streetlamps, casting a warm glow on the trees and other foliage. in the distance, the city buildings stood tall, their lights reflecting on the river.

"do you feel better though?" seonghwa asked, tearing his eyes of the scenery and looking at san. "i'm fine, seonghwa. you don't need to worry about me" san replied and seonghwa playfully nudged him with his shoulder, "you're like my little brother, i'll always worry about you". san rolled his eyes but smiled. as much as san and seonghwa both annoy one another, they had a strong friendship and would do anything for each other.

"what's going on there?" seonghwa pointed a bit further down where a bunch of people were gathered together with blankets on the ground. san frowned, intrigued, and the two men headed towards the crowd.

"stargazing?" seonghwa's eyes brightened it excitement as they closed in on the crowd and saw that they were all laying on their blankets, looking up at the sky with a few telescopes nearby. they found an empty spot on the ground and layed down, staring up at the sky. san felt a sense of calm wash over him as he looked up at the night sky. the stars twinkled above, painting a mesmerizing picture against the dark canvas.

"this is nice," san murmured, more to himself than to seonghwa, who nodded in agreement. for a while, san forgot about everything that was bothering him. he just enjoyed this moment, where he felt complete and utter peace.

"i'm gonna look through the telescope" seonghwa declared, standing up. san nodded and sat up leaning back on his elbows, continuing to gaze at the sky.

"i don't know why you had to drag me here with you, it's just stars. we see them all the time". someone grumbled behind san, causing him to glance over his shoulder. he almost wished he hadn't because now he knew he would't be able to tear his eyes away.

"because it's fun to be in nature, wooyoung. stop being lame" yeosang retorted. san's heart skipped a beat, wooyoung's face gleamed in the night and he looked just as he did last night when san kissed him.

wooyoung hadn't noticed san at this point, he was too busy grumbling and complaining to yeosang. "i'm not lying on the grass" wooyoung protested and crossed his arms, making yeosang sigh. "fine, just wait here. i want to see them up close" yeosang left and walked in the same direction seongwhwa had to look through the telescope.

san saw wooyoung roll his eyes and turn his gaze towards the ground. strands of his grown out blonde and black hair fell into his eyes. san should've looked away at that point, it was only a matter of time before wooyoung saw him but it was like san's eyes had a mind of their own. he couldn't look away from wooyoung.

as if he felt a gaze on him, wooyoung looked up, staring straight into san's eyes. his eyes widened slightly and much to san's surprise, wooyoung walked to where san was and with every step wooyoung made, san felt his hearbeat quicken.

wooyoung stopped in front of san. san stared at wooyoung, his gaze now curious. wooyoung looked away from san, contemplating for a moment. he looked back and san and took a deep breath.

"we need to talk".
