Gokce Sultan, daughter of Shehzade Hammad and Ayse Sultan, was taken in by her late aunt's husband, Ertugrul Bey, at the young age of 3. She grew up around his sons, thinking them of brothers. However, one of the brothers never failed to impress her with his skills. Growing up, she took a shine to Osman, but he soon found a woman called Bala. She accepted it, and always sided with Bala against her cousin, Aygul. However, when her beloved father, Ertugrul Bey, dies, she reads his will.

Osman asks to marry her.
