Serenity Banks recently graduated from Howard University and is training to become a counselor at a middle school, she is currently in an abusive relationship but is scared to leave him because her family loves him.

Clarence is a drug lord seeking revenge on the people who killed his pregnant fiance, he sleeps around but never wants to fall in love again in the fear of bringing another woman into his lifestyle.
