Sonic Forces: The Phantom Ruby Strikes Back (SLOW UPDATES)

With the world finally won again by the resistance, it was finally time for our heroes to finally rebuild their world. Or was it? After the power was restored to the emeralds and the ruby, Sonic took it upon himself to search for the stones, first coming in contact with the Phantom Ruby. He started to feel some sort of connection with the stone, like if it was calling out to him. He even picked it up, inspecting it himself. That's when HE revealed himself, taking over Sonic's mind and body.

That's how Phantom Sonic was born...

How will our heroes get through a new powerful being once more? Will they be able to spilt the two and save their world once again? Or will they suffer at the hands of their latest foe, a foe who was once their very friend?
