Everything changed after New York. For starters, the entire world learned that aliens and superheroes existed. Some were even in our midst.

From that point on, no one knew who the next superhero or supervillain would be. A doctor could become a powerful sorcerer. A billionaire could become one of earth's first defenses. A scientist could become a giant green eyed monster. After New York no one knew what crazy new discovery the universe may hold.

But New York, it was different for me. Everyone changed after New York. Most people lost the comfort of knowing what their future held. But for me, I lost knowing my past.
