Jane Rizzoli decided to leave Boston Police department after her best friend Maura Isles decides to stay in Italy. Since Maura found out she had a twin sister, Katelyn Martin Leon, who she wants to build a stronger relationship with and her family. Rizzoli and their friends are a close knit family so Barry Frost, Rizzolis and Kiki and Vince korsak move to Italy.
