looks at Hizuru, the five Girls fire their Blasters. The screams of the two Hertas can be heard as the Puppets got destroyed with sparks flying out.

Outside, the front of the Quintus is surrounded by heat as it's making its way in the Moon's Atmosphere. In the Lower Levels, Jaune and Lilly face off against Jay Corvax and the Dormilion Siblings. They take out Jay and Lizzie as Lilly moves to the left while Jaune, despite getting pelted by Blaster Bolts, the Horns on his Helmet blown into pieces along with his Left Shoulder Plate, boosts himself using Ifrit's Flames and jumps to the air. The 4 Dormilion Brothers fire at him, Jaune takes the blunt of the Blaster Bolts and the minute he lands, fires a Shockwave Blast from both sides, sending Clayton and Anthony on the left, with William and Benjamin on the right, flying and crashing to the ground. 

Jaune started sprinting ahead with Lilly doing the same, looking inside the Bay Areas.

Lilly: Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

She sees all the Ships or Fighters there are either destroyed or under repair, with the Ships having Parts or Engines missing. This angered Lilly as she stops in her advance, looking to another Area to see more of the Hangar Decks have nothing good for them as a means to escape.

Lilly: Everything down here is under maintenance or shot to shit.

She looks over to Jaune and witnessed him pointing over to a Ship.

Jaune: There!

Lilly looks over to see a One-Five Gunship fully operational, the Doors below it already opened. But just as they were about to make their move, Blaster Bolts were fired upon them, they look to their right to see Akari, Iris, and Sarah engaging them. Lilly looks to another Area, seeing both Rei Kosaka and Eiko Akamatsu, she takes them out with Ài Yao coming in. Lilly wasted no time and uses her Garou Powers, sprinting right for the Gunship, she jumps and leaps over to it.

Jaune, who is seen engaging a large Group of One-Five Members comprised of Jessica Williams, Hilda Gunther, Grace "Panzer" Blazckowics, Ching Mai, Joan "Angel" Aubert, Morgan Pyris, Nana Serizawa, and Hera Galadriel, block and deflects the Blaster Bolts then turns to see Lilly landing by the Cockpit Window. But had to pay attention to the One-Five when Jessica and Sarah were able to hit Jaune in the back and shoulder, pushing him to his knees. He continues to block the Blaster Bolts as Lilly pulls the Latch, opening the Cockpit Window and starts making her way inside.

Up in the Lower Levels, the Lift goes down with Violet and the other One-Five Members engaging them. Lilly went out of the Window, firing out Stun Rounds while starting the Gunship. She was able to hit Bronya Zaychik, Bronya gets knocked out as she fell off the Lift, with Kafka, Stelle, and Firefly rushing to the edge, firing out Blaster Bolts as the Group is now right in front of Jaune.

Jaune continues to block more of the Blaster Bolts, his breathing becoming rugged, exhaustion kicking in. He fires out a Shockwave Blast that sent Violet, Scarlett, and Cath to the Floor. The One-Five press on forward, overwhelming Jaune, he starts stepping back, blocking the Blaster Bolts but gets hit numerous times, sparks flying out of his Armor as Jaune fell to his knees once again, continuing to block the Bullets. Jaune lets out a scream and stood up, continuing to hold his ground.

Meanwhile, in the Bridge of the Quintus, the Cruiser is now in the Moon's Sky. The Alarms continue to blare out as Erica looks over to Yukong on the Helm.

Erica: We've entered the Atmosphere. Fire Retro-Rockets!

Yukong: We've lost lateral control. We're gonna break apart-

BOOM!

An explosion erupts in front of Yukong, sending her and Erica flying. Erica crashes in the middle of the Bridge, and the minute Erica stood up, more explosions erupt until it engulfs the entire Bridge, killing everyone there.

The Bridge is up in Flames as the Quintus is moving  to the Surface of the Moon at a quick speed, the Hulls of the Ship covered in Flames and explosions. In the Lower Levels, as the Cruiser descends down, everyone and everything there started sliding as the Quintus continues to tilt. The One-Five all fell to the ground and started sliding down with Jaune holding on, he watches as the One-Five slide on the Floor, witnessing Jingliu trying to regain her balance before falling to the Floor while Dan Heng and Jing Yuan try grabbing onto something as they continue sliding, with Blade being crushed by the sliding One-Five Fighter.

Jaune also starts sliding down, with Lilly removing her Helmet, a look of worry appearing on her face. She watches as Jaune stabs on the Floor to keep himself from falling, looking to the One-Five Gunship, he sees Lilly calling out to him. 

Lilly: Come on!

Jaune stood up and made a break for the Gunship, he jumps to the air with the One-Five Gunship letting go from the Restraints and heading down to the sky. Lilly watches Jaune fall off the Cruiser, the One-Five Gunship sent flying out of the Cruiser, spinning uncontrollably. Lilly tries to get the Cockpit under control, pressing a Set of Buttons, the Gunship now starting up. She pushes the Controls forward and the Engines went into full speed, she sees through the Debris and found nothing, the Smoke covering her sight until she turns to her right and was met with Jaune free-falling. 

She presses a Button and opens a Door in the side of the Gunship. Jaune sees it and fires out Flames to boost himself to the Gunship. Lilly watches with bated breath but when Jaune touches the Gunship, the heavy winds were too strong as Jaune crashes to the Gunship, sliding away from it. Lilly looks to see Jaune moving away from the Gunship. He wasted no time and uses his Dragon Wings to skydive around the Debris, Jaune lands on the Quintus' Debris and rolls to the ground, he started sprinting, maneuvering around it as Lilly moves the Gunship to where Jaune is.

Jaune looks to his right to see Lilly and continues running. Once he sees the end, Jaune jumps, using his Dragon Wings to control his descent, followed by his Flames to boost himself forward, now seeing the Gunship in sight. This time, Lilly opens the Bay Doors in the back, Jaune sees it and boosts himself even further. Luckily, he was able to grab onto the edge, using his Dragon Claws to hold himself in place. Jaune uses all his strength to get himself inside the Gunship, and once he's in, Jaune pushes himself forward. Lilly sees this through the Cameras in the Cockpit and flies the Gunship out of there.

The Quintus plummets to the Surface as explosions and a Black Smoke Trail were left in its wake. Lilly glances on the falling Cruiser as she can only down with a solemn look, looking behind her, she sees Jaune entering the Cockpit, he doesn't look at her and stares at the Quintus outside.

Nothing but silence as they escaped this Nightmare with their Lives.

Timeskip

On the ground, we see the Quintus has crashed, its Flames have died down and only Smoke is left in its wake. Up in the front, we see the One-Five Gunship made landing on the Surface, Lilly walks towards the Gunship, carrying whatever Supplies she could find in the Cruiser. In front of her, the Gunship is full of Crates and Weaponry they got from the Quintus, a Laptop with Wires attached to a Machine is present, speculating they were able to acquire both A.Is from the crash and the Herta Puppets that fought alongside them, extensive damage is seen on the Puppets, but they still searched for them and brought the three back to the Gunship either way.

As for Lilly, she walks to the Gunship with noticeable Digging Supplies on her hand. She no longer wears her SPARTAN Armor and dons Military Overalls along with a Bulletproof Vest along with some Armor she strapped on to her body. She places the Supplies on the Gunship then turns towards Jaune, her expression is a frown, upset at what happened, and upset they lost everything. Jaune is seen in the front of the Quintus, standing in front of a Burial Grounds. Like when Lilly, he no longer dons his Armor, wearing Military Overalls and only Pieces his Armor such as the Gauntlets, and the Right Shoulder Piece on top of his Hooded Robe, which he is wearing with the Hood up.

The entire time, Jaune and Lilly scoured through the wreckage of the Quintus, finding all of the One-Five's bodies or what's left of it, and giving them a proper Burial. All 1,998 of them. The Helmets, which are being held on by their Weapons or Pieces of the Quintus, Jaune placed 13 in the front, they are those he knew all his Life, the Original 15; Lena, Himeko, Kafka, Bianka, Bronya, Hizuru, Kevin, Furlan, Itami, Ch'en, Talulah, Hoshiguma, and in the middle, Violet; Violet's Helmet covered in dirt with a few of its parts broken, destroyed. The same can be said for everyone else, the Symbol and Unity of the One-Five, shattered.

As Jaune stares at the Burial Grounds, he looks over at his Sword, then proceeds to do the unexpected. He knees the Blade of the Sword, splitting it in half and drops it to the ground.

The Pieces of his Sword land on the ground, next to his Helmet with the bottom part destroyed, what remains of the Helmet is buried on the Dirt. The Helmet is also beside Lilly's, with an Area that serves as her Burial Ground, her Helmet placed on top of a piece of Debris. This. This signifies the Death of Jaune Arc and Lilly Ironblooded.

Jaune now looks up to the skies, knowing where his Journey will take him. Knowing his Path will change for the better or for the worse. 

To many, the War is over. But to Jaune and Lilly, their War has just begun.
