I dropped Will off and then drove to my school. before i got out my car i whispered to myself, "this is gonna be a good day."

I walked to my locker to get my books, until suddenly i heard a voice. "hey freak." It was Steve and his friends. "is there one day we're you leave me alone?" i snapped at him.

"ooo someones getting snappy." Tommy laughed. i tried to push through them but Steve grabbed me by the shoulder and pinned me against the locker. i tried to hold back the blushing.

"you can't get away that easily, Byers." he smirked. without any hesitation i kicked him in the balls and ran off.

i sat down at my desk, Tommy sat behind me and Steve sat beside me. i was fucked. Tommy threw a paper at the back of my head, i unfolded it and it said:

"your gonna pay for that, freak" yep, i was totally fucked. "Alright class, i'll be giving you all your study partners." The teacher took out a piece of paper. "Tommy and Carol." she spoke, and so on. "Nancy and Barbara." was the second last name.

Neither me or Steve's name was called.. so that means.. i cupped my face in my hands. "and last but not least, Steve and Jonathan." She looked up from the paper and dropping it on the desk. Tommy and Carol laughed and Steve groaned.
