~~~ (Y/N) POV ~~~

     As we were falling Steven bubbled Lars and himself to protect from the impact. I took a look at the scene in front of me before the impact, a spot that would definitely be clear of debris. I disappeared into my void world, and reappeared right in front of the crashed palanquin. Steven got debris off of Lars.

Steven: "Are you okay?"

Lars: "Thanks to your bubble."

     Steven went back to the debris, pulling and digging.

Steven: "(Y/N), (Y/N), where are you?"

(Y/N): "I'm right behind you."

     Steven and Lars turned around to see me standing there.

Steven: "Oh my gosh. We thought you were lost in Korea, or somewhere else."

(Y/N): "Oh, sorry to worry you. I was stuck on my own little side mission. I learned a lot of new cool tricks."

Steven: "Like what?"

(Y/N): "I'll show you later, right now we need to start moving."

Lars: "Dude, those giant ladies were furious with you."

Steven: "They're the Diamonds, they have been after my mom for six thousand years, and now they're after me. Come on, (Y/N)'s right, we gotta move."

     We started walking.

Lars: "So (Y/N), I feel like we haven't talked much, or seen each other a lot. Did Steven drag you into this?"

(Y/N): "Oh, no, not really. My gem did. Steven and I are the only two people like this. Probably."

Lars: "So you have crazy magic powers too?"

(Y/N): "I wouldn't call them crazy, but yes."

Steven: "I can't wait to see what you can do!"

(Y/N): "Well you gotta."

Lars: "How are we supposed to get off this planet? Do you even know where you're going?"

Steven: "No, this is my first time here too."

     They looked at me.

(Y/N): "I haven't been here that long, and I definitely haven't been to this part of the neighborhood."

Lars: "Guh, this is so messed up. What are we gonna eat?"

Steven: "There's tons of food if you like rocks for dinner."

(Y/N): "Mmmm, they have great mineral content, but no nutritional value, plus, they go straight to your hips."

Lars: "Salt is a rock right? Maybe we can season some dirt and make a meal."

Steven: "Wait."

     Steven put his hands to his ears and listened. Lars's stomach growled.

Lars: "Sorry."

     Then something appeared behind us, a drone of sorts.

Steven: "Ah, they found us! Run!"

Lars: "Wait. If we stand perfectly still they won't see us. I saw it in a movie once."

     I hit him on the head.

(Y/N): "That was Jurassic park. It's about dinosaurs not robots."

     The drone scanned them and identified Steven's gem. The drone rotated and started to build up energy.

(Y/N): "That is definitely a sign to run."

     We started to run away, after turning a few corners, the drone was still on our tail, but had slowed down to scan other objects. 

Lars: "What are we gonna do? What's gonna happen?"

Steven: "We're gonna run, and we're gonna be okay."

Lars: "No, you just don't get it. I hate being scared all the time. I was scared of everything except baking. Actually I was scared of that too. I never even tried making bonkulovic because it looked so hard. I never had the guts to stick up for anybody. Not even me. And now I'm hiding again, like a big cowardly loser under some space building."

(Y/N): "The difference here is we are being chased by a laser shooting drone, and giant gems who can blast electricity and crush you with ease."

     Lars and Steven were silent.

(Y/N): "What? I learned a lot when I trained with them."

Steven: "You trained with them!?"

(Y/N): "Not important at the moment, priority number one. Get away from that flying, laser, gem drone."

???: "Quickly, down here."

Lars: "Steven, what if it's a trap?"

(Y/N): "Then have fun with the laser drone. I am going with mysterious gem. At least I have more defenses against them."

     I made my way to the mysterious hand in a hole. Steven and Lars quickly followed as the drone rounded the corner.

Lars: "Close one huh?"

Steven: "Yeah. But who-"

???1: "Don't worry."

???1.5: "You're safe now."

???1: "We're not gonna hurt you."

Lars: "Thank you, whoever, youuuuu."

     The mysterious savior lit up their gem to reveal they were a half fusion.

Lars: "Bwaaaahhhhh!"

     As Lars freaked out and recoiled, the twins were taken aback by the sudden, odd action.

(Y/N): "Oh don't be so rude Lars, you've seen much worse. You should have at least. Either way they saved us, so stop your frantic judgment."

Steven: "Thank you for saving us."

     The twin gem walked up to us and inspected us.

???1: "How bizarre. What are they?"

???1.5: "They certainly don't look like gems we've ever seen before."

     There was a noise from above, the red light shone through some cracks, indicating the drone was still there. The twin gem pointed down the cave hallway.

???1: "Come, this way."

???1.5: "This way, come."

     Steven, Lars, and I started to follow. Lars paused to ask Steven of the integrity of this plan. I continued on as Steven caught up, and then Lars did as well.

Steven: "Uh, excuse me, but, um, where are you taking us?"

???1.5: "Somewhere, long forgotten."

???1: "Where only those who don't belong, belong."

     Lars and I spoke at the same time.

Lars & (Y/N): "Sounds like my kind of place."

(Y/N): "Jinx."

     We arrived at a place with many many pillars going up, sideways, and diagonally.

Lars: "What is this place?"

Steven: "A kindergarten. A really, really big one."

     We made our way to past a few more pillars before the twin gem whistled.

???1: "We're back!"

???1.5: "Here we are!"

???1: "It's okay to come out."

???2: "Oh thank goodness. I hope you weren't followed. You weren't right? You double checked? Huh, You've Been Followed!"

     Steven walked up to the fusion.

Steven: "Uh, hi. Don't worry, I'm not a threat or anything."

???1: "It's okay Rhodonite."

???1.5: "Relax. We brought them here."

???1: "They're with us."

Rhodonite: "Can we trust them?"

???1.5: "Sure."

???1: "I think so."

???3: "Everyone, a wondrous vision has appeared before me. The twins of Rutile will bring one, no three, strangers to our current place of hiding."

Rhodonite: "We know Padparadscha, your prediction already happened."

Rutile 1: "They were being chased up on the surface by one of those terrible robonoids."

Rhodonite: "Don't tell me you tried to fight those things."

Rutile 2: "No no, of course not. These three were about to be when we pulled them under."

Rutile 1: "We were just in time."

???: "Leet meee, seeeee."

     Lars screamed as a giant caterpillar fusion appeared from behind a pillar. Lars ran like a maniac.

???: "They don't look like gems."

Rutile 2: "That's what I said."

Rutile 1: "I said the same thing."

Steven: "Hi, I'm Steven. I'm a gem, well, half gem. And this is Lars, he's all human."

(Y/N): "I'm (Y/N), and I am like Steven, Half human, Half gem."

???: "That's why you look so unusual."

Lars: "We look unusual?"

(Y/N): "Lars calm down. 'Unusual' is all about perspective. This is not our planet, therefore yes, we are the unusual ones."

     I turned to the knew group of gems.

(Y/N): "I can't believe some people lack perspective."

Rhodonite: "Of course you look unusual. You can't just walk on the surface like that, you're off color. Just like the rest of us."

Steven: "What do you mean, off color?"

Rutile 2: "You know, wrong."

Rutile 1: "Not right."

Rutile 2: "Flawed."

Steven: "Wait, I don't see anything wrong with you guys."

(Y/N): "Steven, remember. Homeworld is racist. We have two fusions, a gem and a half, and a Sapphire who can see the future, after it has already happened. To Homeworld, they would be a disgrace."

     I turned to them.

(Y/N): "I disagree with them, just trying to state the facts from Homeworld's view."

Padparadscha: "Here comes Fluorite."

Steven: "You mean, you're not a fusion?"

     Steven turned to Rutile.

Rutile 1: "We're just a Rutile, that came out wrong. We survived because all the other Rutiles ran away when we emerged."

Rutile 2: "We survived because, they were afraid of us."

Lars: "Afraid of you? So you've been hiding your whole lives. What happens if they find you.?"

Rutile 1: "We'll be..."

Padparadscha: "...Shattered."

     We all heard a noise from the entrance. A red beam was seen coming from the tunnel.

Rhodonite: "Oh no, you were followed. They're gonna find us, they're gonna break us."

Steven: "This is our fault, if it wasn't for us you'd be fine."

Rutile 1: "We couldn't just leave you there."

Rutile 2: "We had to do something."

Lars: "Steven, what are we gonna do?"

Steven: "Everyone hide!"

(Y/N): "Lars, I have no clue what you are worried about, those things can't even see you. You don't have a gem."

Lars: "Wait what? Then how are you so calm?"

(Y/N): "Cause I can disappear at will. I will explain later, but right now we got some hiding to do."

     I walked into one of the gem holes and hid. Three robonoids emerged from the cave entrance. As Rutile was about to be found Lars ran in and threw a rock at one of the Robonoids.

(Y/N): "Oh, we're going on the offense. Fun. Time for an experiment."

     I jumped out of my hole and disappeared, reappearing on top of the lone Robonoid. I grabbed is and disappeared back into the void. The Robonoid appeared with me.

(Y/N): "That worked? What?"

     The Robonoid scanned me and detected my gem. I summoned my karambits and jumped up to slice it. It moved a little but still got hit. It exploded, knocking me back a bit. I quickly rejoined the others in the cave. No one seemed to have noticed y disappearance. I saw Lars jump in front of Rhodonite to hide her from the Robonoid. He grabbed a rock club and jumped onto the Robonoid. He hit it a few times with the club and it started to fly all over the place, blasting frantically. Lars then shoved the club directly into the center of the Robonoid, causing it to detonate, with him on top of it.

(Y/N): "That is not good."

Steven: "Lars!"

     Steven turned Lars over. I walked up to him. I saw Steven's tears, and I knew the truth. Steven held Lars to his chest. Steven's tears dropped onto Lars, and then he started to glow, turning Pink. Lars sat up, grabbing his head as he groaned.

Lars: "Oh, what happened?"

Padparadscha: "Oh my, something incredible is about to happen to Lars. Lars is going to change in hue."

     Steven hugged Lars.

Steven: "Lars! You saved us. You stopped the Robonoids, but one of them exploded and you weren't moving and I started crying, huh, I brought you back to life. It was an accident I mean I probably would have done that on purpose if I had known I could do that, but I didn't really ask your permission so, I'm sorry."

Lars: "...Back to life? So I was away from life?"

     He looked at his hands and noticed he was in fact, pink.

Lars: "I'm pink!?"

Steven: "Ah, I know. Do you feel okay?"

Lars: "I don't really know."

Steven: "But your body, are you sore?"

Lars: "...No."

Steven: "Are you tired?"

Lars: "...No."

Steven: "Do you feel good?"

Lars: "No."

Steven: "Do you feel bad?"

Lars: "No! I guess I just feel really freaked out?"

Steven: "Well I am too so, at least were on the same page here."

     There was more buzzing as more Robonoids were coming. 

Rhodonite: "They're back. Those shattering robonoids are back."

Fluoride: "Quickly, block the entrance."

     We started to head to a large rock. They were pushing it slowly until Steven joined, greatly increasing pace. I joined in as well, increasing it further to the point where Steven and I were the only ones pushing it.

Rutile 1: "Whoa."

Rutile 2: "Strong."

Rhodonite: "Is this going to be enough?"

     I summoned my whip.

(Y/N): "Well just in case."

     There was a dim read flash from behind the boulder.

Fluoride: "They seem to have over looked us. For the time being."

Padparadscha: "Quickly, block the entrance."

Steven: "As long as I'm here, they're gonna keep coming after us."

Rhodonite: "It's true, this was a horrible plan."

Steven: "Should we try to find a new hiding spot?"

Rhodonite: "No no no, if we leave this cavern we'll be completely exposed."

Fluoride: "But, if we stay here, they'll find us for sure."

Rutile 2: "So we either stay here and get caught."

Rutile 1: "Or we go out their and get caught."

Lars: "So wait, am I a zombie now?"

Steven: "No. Well, No! You can talk, and zombies can't do that. I must have healed you. I've healed people before, just not never this much."

Lars: "Just admit it Steven, I'm a zombie!"

Steven: "Oh I know, a zombie wouldn't have a heart beat. That's, uh, pretty slow. But I think we can rule out pink zombie."

(Y/N): "You guys are idiots. A zombie doesn't mean undead, yes, most depictions of a zombie tends to be reanimated corpses. But a zombie can be a living thing. Like animals with rabies. Or ants infected with a specific fungus. A zombie is a host to a virus or parasite that drives the actions and controls the host. So, when finding out if you are a zombie or not, the question is 'Do you feel like yourself' or 'is something controlling your thoughts and actions.'"

Rhodonite: "I can't believe humans just change colors like this."

Steven: "They don't, well I guess if you get really cold you turn blue or if you get really embarrassed you turn red."

(Y/N): "No no no. You are explaining it incorrectly. If your body temperature decreases enough, the first symptom is purple lips, then the skin start to get a very very faint pigment of very light blue. When embarrassed, or straining yourself, the increased blood flow, or blood pressure, causes parts of your face to turn red, not a deep red, more like a red-ish, tan-ish. But if the body starts to decay, then it goes through stages of grays and purples."

Rhodonite: "So what does pink mean? Is Lars gonna explode or something?"

Rutile 2: "Maybe then Lars will reform with a different color."

Fluoride: "I'm sure whatever color Lars chooses will be lovely."

(Y/N): "This is not a natural color. It doesn't mean anything in human terms. But I guess for Steven it means resurrection?"

Lars: "But why am I pink?"

Steven: "Even your hair is different."

     He poked Lars's hair and it glowed. Steven reeled back his arm, Lars jumped back.

Lars: "What was that? Huh? It like lit up right? You saw it too."

Steven: "Uh, yeah."

Lars: "What did you do? Do it again."

      Steven put his hand in Lars's hair. There was glowing, and a mystical high pitch humming of sorts.

Lars: "Why is it doing that?"

Steven: "Lars, I think I know what this is. There's something I can try. But no, you don't want me going in your head."

Lars: "You're going to, possess me again?"

(Y/N): "Wait, again?"

Steven: "No, it would be more literal."

Lars: "Then what is it?"

Steven: "Forget it."

Lars: "Look Steven, I'm not gonna get mad okay? I trust you just, help me out here. If I've got magic hair now, I wanna know."

Steven: "Everyone stand back. Alright, no just, bend down."

Lars: "Like this?"

Steven: "Noow, you might feel a slight, foot in your head."

Lars: "Wait what?"

     Steven put his foot in Lars's hair. Everyone gasped.

Rhodonite: "What is happening? They're fusing! They're fusing right?"

(Y/N): "No, dimensional hair portal. Hard to explain, I barely understood it when Steven told me about Lion's mane, don't ask, long story."

Steven: "You're doing great Lars."

Lars: "Okay?"

     Steven took a breath and disappeared into Lars's hair. Everyone looked at him. We all sat there, quietly. After about 6 minutes, Steven returned. Causing Lars to fall onto his back.

Steven: "Sorry Lars."

Lars: "So what happened? What's in my head?"

Steven: "Home. Everyone, I've made an amazing discovery! I just traveled back to planet Earth, by going through Lars's head!"

Lars: "You went back to Earth? What the heck? Is my head like a wormhole?"

Steven: "No, it's way simpler than that. You see, I have a pink pet lion who belonged to my mom when she was still here and it turns out I can go into his mane and it transports me into a magical dimension where my mom kept a bunch of artifacts on a hill with a tree and for some reason I can't breath in there. But anyway, when I went into Lars's head, I got transported to the same magical dimension, but it was a new part of it, but since the two are connected I could reach the portal that leads out of Lion's mane which is back on Earth. Here, I brought you some food."

Lars: "Thanks, but I'm I'll save it for later."

Steven: "But, aren't you hungry? Maybe you only eat magical lizards now like Lion. Are you hungry for lizards?"

Lars: "No. I do not want a lizard."

Steven: "But you haven't eaten in days."

Lars: "I know, there must be pink magic in my guts now or something."

Rhodonite: "What is this box?"

Steven: "It's juice. We drink it back on Earth."

     The other gems started to converse with each other.

Rutile 1: "That can't be."

Rutile 2: "That's incredulous."

Steven: "Why can't it be?"

Fluoride: "Everyone knows that the Earth..."

Rhodonite: "Was decimated by the Diamond attack! Sorry."

Steven: "It's not like that. The Diamonds did attack, but there are still gems living on Earth. And the planet's full of life. It grew the potatoes that became these chips. And it grew the wheat, that eventually became the flour, that eventually became this bread, that eventually became this sandwich."

Rutile 2: "Sand..."

Rutile 1: "...wich?"

Rhodonite: "But, why would gems still live there?"

Steven: "Because the Earth is a place where we can be ourselves. We can be freely without having to hide who we are."

Rutile 2: "Live freely?"

Rutile 1: "Without having to hide?"

Fluoride: "That sounds wonderful."

Steven: "It is. And now that we have this portal we can all go there."

(Y/N): "Oh Steven you poor fool. First of all, how do you plan to get Lars back? He is the portal, a portal cannot go through itself. Second, do you think that Fluoride would be able to fit within that small amount of hair? Impossible"

Steven; "Oh."

Fluoride: "Even if we could go, we wouldn't. We know this planet. We've been hiding in these tunnels for eons. You'll need us to help you get around. Besides us off colors, stick together."

Rutile 2: "We'll get to Earth another way."

Rutile 1: "We'll find an alternate route."

Lars: "But you've gotta go back."

     Lars pointed to Steven and I.

Steven: "But it doesn't feel right to just leave you here."

Lars: "You said yourself that everyone on this planet is out to get
