~~~ TIMESKIP (Y/N) POV ~~~

     I woke up in a bed, and looked around. The room looked different then before. There was a desk of sorts now. There was a lounging chair across the room that faced two other lounging chairs that were of a, missive, size. I got up, though I felt uncomfortable. There was still electricity in the air, making my hairs stand on end. I walked over to the new window that looked over Homeworld. The world was full of many bright colors, it seemed like a futuristic utopia fantasy. I felt out of place here. I am weak. I can't control my abilities, and I can't even protect myself from a single attack. I heard footsteps, they didn't sound loud enough to be Blue Diamond or Yellow Diamond, and it sounded like a single pair, so it probably wasn't Holly Green or Ruby. The door to my room opened to reveal Blue Pearl.

Blue Pearl: "My Diamond has requested you meet with her."

(Y/N): "I see, shall we go?"

     Blue Pearl nodded and led me down the hallways of the Palace. We arrived at a large blue room which seemed to have a seating area all around the room, like one long continuous couch. There was a small table of sorts where a plate with, what I assume is, food. Blue Diamond sat in the far left corner as she looked out a large window. She turned to us.

Blue Diamond: "Welcome (Y/N), I am glad you could make it."

(Y/N): "Well what else would I be doing? I don't have much of a schedule. Also, I see that my room has, changed. Not that I am complaining, but why? Is there something going on?"

Blue Diamond: "Well after Yellow and I talked, we have come to an agreement. I hope she didn't do anything to harsh earlier."

     I looked down, feeling the static energy still around me.

(Y/N): "Oh no, it wasn't too bad, mainly just surprising."

Blue Diamond: "Oh good. We have prepared some food for you, seeing as you haven't eaten in a while. I still don't get quite why humans need to eat, especially so often, but still, so there you are."

(Y/N): "Oh, thank you."

     I grabbed the plate and started to eat, not realizing how hungry I was until I actually smelled the food.

Blue Diamond: "Now, Holly Green said that your training has been progressing at a moderate pace, but you ended it early yesterday. Were you getting too exhausted?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, sort of."

Blue Diamond: "Have you remembered anything new?"

     I look at her. Thinking for a moment, seeing if anything comes to me.

(Y/N): "No, nothing new."

Blue Diamond: "I see. Before, when you grabbed your head, and you remembered the parties you threw, what was wrong?"

(Y/N): "Well, when the memories emerge, they often come with migraines, I am just happy it didn't persist this time."

Blue Diamond: "That sounds awful. You must be so stressed, but at least you are learning more and progressing."

(Y/N): "Yeah."

     I finished my plate and set it down. Their were footsteps coming down the hall, the door opened to reveal Yellow Diamond.

Yellow Diamond: "Sorry I am late. It's good to see you again (Y/N), I am glad you're doing well."

     Blue Diamond leaned down and whispered.

Blue Diamond: "That's her way of saying sorry."

Yellow Diamond: "Now (Y/N), Blue had asked me to for a warrior of some kind, and I have been informed that the soldier has been training you along side a Ruby. How has your training been going?"

(Y/N): "Well, I am making progress."

Yellow Diamond: "I see. And that thing you did yesterday?" 

     Blue Diamond looked at her.

(Y/N): "That one was new. I just did it in the arena, but I still don't know how I did it."

     Yellow Diamond looked at Blue Diamond, and they seemed to have a silent agreement.

Blue Diamond: "Think about who you are. Everything you have done, the events that make you who you are, and the path you took to get right here."

     I looked at her, I opened my mouth to ask a question, but Yellow Diamond interjected.

Yellow Diamond: "Feel the air around you. Feel the present, you were made in the past, but you exist the present, you are the present. What do you feel?"

     I took a breath. I listened to them and did just that. I closed my eye. I felt nothing, the static energy around me was gone, the very air itself seemed to have left. There was no warmth, no cold. I was sitting, but it didn't feel hard, it didn't feel soft. I wasn't numb, well, not the static, pins and needles numb, I just felt nothing, an emptiness, like I didn't exist, I was there, but I wasn't.

(Y/N): "Nothing. I feel absolutely nothing. There is no ground, no air, no sound. I feel, blackness, darkness. Nothingness."

     I opened my eye and what I saw, was terrifying. I saw nothing, no room, no Diamonds, no doors, no walls, no light, yet, I could still see myself, and only myself. This place is nothing, and here, I am everything. I blinked a few times, stood up and as soon as I took a step, lighted exploded into the void of nothing, and I was back in the room with the Diamonds, sitting next to them, but one thing was wrong. They had stood up and they were panicking.

Blue Diamond: "What if they don't come back? What if they're just gone?"

Yellow Diamond: "I don't know. They have to be somewhere. The have to-"

     They stopped talking and turned their heads to see me. Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond gasped.

Blue Diamond: "You're back. Where did you go?"

(Y/N): "Nowhere."

Blue Diamond: "What do you mean no where?"

(Y/N): "I was in a place, that wasn't a place. It was black, and dark, but at the same time it wasn't. I was the only thing there, until I wasn't there anymore. Was I really gone?"

Blue Diamond: "Yes, but now your back and-"

Yellow Diamond: "That's impossible. Blue, are you seeing this?"

     She nodded.

Blue Diamond: "But this can't be. Only Diamonds have... They can't..."

(Y/N): "What's happening."

Blue Diamond: "You, have an aura."

     I looked at my hands, and saw that I seemed to have a shadow all over myself. A shadow that wasn't really plastered on a wall. A translucent blackness around me.

Yellow Diamond: "Well, that certainly does explain one thing..."

Blue Diamond: "But it brings up, so much more."

     I looked at them, and back at my hands. I really left, but came back. What if I can go anywhere? I closed my eyes, allowing myself to feel nothing. I don't exist, but now I do, I exist in nowhere, and everywhere, but I am in one place, and that place is... I thought of the room Blue Diamond had arranged for me. And then I was there. I looked around, seeing the bed, desk, chairs, and the window. I looked out the window. It was Homeworld. I walked down the halls until I made it to the room Blue Diamond, Yellow Diamond, and I were just talking. I heard muffled talking.

Yellow Diamond: "Oh not again. Blue calm down, this probably just means they are figuring things out, any minute now and they will be right back in that seat."

Blue Diamond: "But what if they aren't? What if they are gone for good this time?"

     I knock on the door. The other side grows quiet. The doors slide open to reveal the Diamonds looking at me. Blue Diamond was quiet, Yellow Diamond turned to her.

Yellow Diamond: "I told you they were figuring things out. But that sure is an odd spot to end up."

(Y/N): "This isn't where I reappeared. It was in my room, where I imagined myself. Being nothing apparently has it's perks."

Yellow Diamond: "I see. Then why did you, walk back?"

(Y/N): "I wanted to take the long route. Also, I didn't want to try to get back here and end up stuck somewhere."

Blue Diamond: "This is such great news. You are learning."

Yellow Diamond: "And a Diamond, apparently. Well, the training of a Diamond, this is much too important for regular gems to over see."

          ~~~ TIMESKIP ~~~

     Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond, and I were in the arena.

Yellow Diamond: "A Diamond's aura is their greatest weapon, the only one we need. That's why normal gems were given a weapon to fight with. But we don't need to use such tools. My aura can be used to destabilize other gems. Blue, care to explain your specialty?"

Blue Diamond: "I can make others feel what I feel, in terms of emotions. I can do this easily by projecting and expanding my aura as a field."

Yellow Diamond: "But as a more physical aura, mine cannot be projected as a field, but instead has to be projected at a single target. Now, the other day, you seemed to have projected a field similar to your aura. When you did that, my attack disappeared. Is there anything you know about that?"

(Y/N): "Well, when I was training with Ruby and Holly Green, I was able to dismiss their weapons, and then I was able to use them. But, I am still unsure if I can."

Yellow Diamond: "Well, give it a try then."

     I tried to summon Ruby's Javelin, but it didn't work. I summoned my Karambit, then dismissed it, and tried for the Javelin again. Nothing.

(Y/N): "I guess it was only those two times."

Yellow Diamond: "Twice you say?"

(Y/N): "Yes, I guess, one for the first one she summoned, and then the second one was when she tried to summon it again. But then, does that mean...?"

     I summoned Holly Green's sword, but it was black, as always.

(Y/N): "I think, I can absorb weapons. This is Holly Green's sword. But it is also the only one I have. So, once I dismiss this, I can't use it until I absorb it again."

Yellow Diamond: "I see. I want you to try to use my ability."

(Y/N): "Okay."

     I emptied my mind, took a deep breath, and held my hand out. I imagined energy running through my arm, around it. I imagined lightning, I thought of it leaping from my hand to the ground in front of me. And it did. A black bolt of energy shot from my hand.

Yellow Diamond: "Hmm, that seemed to be all of it. Try again."

     I pointed out my arm, and I replicated my thoughts and actions from before, and I shot out even more, this time, I maintained it.

Blue Diamond: "Yellow look. Their aura. It looks just like yours."

Yellow Diamond: "Hmm, aura replication. Quit useful, and interesting."

     I stopped and put down my hand.

Yellow Diamond: "This is quite interesting, a Diamond gem, who has an aura, can summon weapons, teleport, and cease to exist. Hard to believe you're human."

Blue Diamond: "Yes, not to mention their ability to summon ice and fire."

Yellow Diamond: "Yes. Gems are able to alter their forms. Do you think you can do that as well?"

(Y/N): "I don't know, it's worth a shot."

Yellow Diamond: "Okay. So you claim your ability is all about how you are nothing, and you are you. This is a fact you know and accept. But what if you, weren't you?"

(Y/N): "I think I get what you're saying. Similar to how I can teleport, disappear, and reappear, what if I can disappear, and reappear as something else?"

Yellow Diamond: "Yes, maybe."

      I nod and close my eye. I am nothing, I am nowhere, here, I am everything and everywhere, but right now, I am not me. Who am I? I am, Blue Diamond, in the arena. I opened my eyes. I seemed to be very tall. Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond looked at me.

Yellow Diamond: "Well, that sure is something. Gems can't even cause a color change but you. Well, this is amazing."

Blue Diamond: "Certainly. That is quite the ability. Quite the skill set you have."

(Y/N) (as Blue Diamond): "This is, very weird. Everything is so small, and wow."

     I quickly disappeared and became myself again.

(Y/N): "I really don't like heights, but that was, dizzying. I was tall, but proportionally I wasn't. That was so confusing. And when I talked, I could hear that I was talking, but it wasn't my voice, it didn't feel like it was truly me."

Yellow Diamond: "Interesting, something you will have to over come, but for now, training is over. We have made a lot of progress, and while, I may not like to admit it. You are a Diamond, and I am glad to have you as one of us."

     I smiled as I looked up at them.

(Y/N): "Thank you. And I am getting quite tired. Thank you so much for today."
