"I... don't remember..." I said dazedly.
"There was this giant shadow lady..."
"Yellow Diamond?" She asked.
"No, not the giant french fry..."
"Giant...'french fry?'"
"Yeah, I just thought Yellow Diamond looks kind of like a french fry..." I shrugged. She started to laugh. I smiled as best as I could.
"It's just like how I look like a meatball; you look like blue cotton candy, Pearl looks exactly like a bird, Peridot's hair is like a green Dorito wig, Jasper looks just like a Cheeto, and-"
"Okay, stop before I make too much noise laughing," She burst into laughter.

I have to be honest with myself, here. I remember Sapphire... but not as much as I should. It feels like there are a few gaps in my memory. I don't know. I know that I'm supposed to love her, and I know that we had a long history together but... I just don't remember what that history was. I don't even remember why I went berserk on Rub-D! I just feel like we're strangers at this point. I'm trying, I truly am! You try and remember feeling that you had for someone after something like this! Like, if you were in a coma and you had a boyfriend that you don't remember having at all and they say that you mean the world to them even though you don't even remember seeing their faces in your life. Not so easy now, is it?! Yeah, thought so.

"Ruby!" Sapphire yelled, snapping me out of my self-argument.
"Huh?" I jumped.
"You're sweating. Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah... uh... just worked out...?" I physically facepalmed myself. Gems don't sweat unless they get nervous, idiot!

Sapphire stopped me mid-face palm. She held my hands in hers.
"Shh... it's okay," She hushed.
"O-oh... okay..." I stuttered. Once I took a deep breath, she continued.
"Now, tell me what's wrong," She said.
"I... I don't know. There's this big shadow lady always appearing in front of me, and I have no idea who it is! She's telling me things that I don't remember and all these tips that have nothing to do with the situation in, she has this calm tone in her voice, she's always haunting me in my sleep-" I rambled.
"Shadow? Describe her," She told me in a soft voice.
"She's got this big dress I guess... I don't know if that's a cape or a poofy dress. Her hair is like-" I was cut off by sounds of patrols rushing past the door.
"Everybody! Be quiet!" Pearl squawked in a loud and screechy voice. I covered my ears along with Amethyst.

As I felt the guards' footsteps passing the door, I felt a massive flood of memories bombarding my thoughts. I ended up backing myself into the locked door, making a loud thump. Everyone stayed still as I stayed in my dazed state, bumping into everything else.
"Ugh, my head," I groaned. Unrecognizable moments of Sapphire and me along with some random song played in my head as everything went black.
