As I walk down to my secret hiding place that I always go to when it's our anniversary, I made my gift for Sapphire and wrapped it in a little box. Then I immediately started calling White Diamond through my transmitter. I placed the holographic transmitter at my feet and stepped a few steps back. Then White Diamond showed up on the hologram.
"White Diamond," I said, making the diamond salute.
"The Rebels have made... Reinforcements... With a Peridot and a Lapis. Do you have a plan that you wish for me to carry out?" I asked. White Diamond sat back in her seat and pondered.
"That Sapphire," White Diamond said.
"What about that Sapphire, White Diamond?" I asked.
"Destroy her (like poof her),"
"What?!" I didn't expect her to say that.
"I mean, uh. Why? Is there any explanation to why I must... What am I supposed to do with her?" I asked.
"I want you to bring me that Sapphire to homeworld where we will keep her in custody so she will not be able to help the rebels." White Diamond ordered. I nodded.
"Yes, White Diamond. Ruby out." I said, turning the holographic transmitter off and placing it into my gem.

I grabbed my gift for Sapphire and left my secret spot. As I started heading back to the Temple, I heard someone screaming. It was a familiar voice. I just couldn't quite put my finger on it. I ran towards the screaming. I saw someone trying to kidnap her. They were trying to put her into their truck! I had to stop them. I ran as fast as I could towards her. I summoned my gauntlet and bashed one of them in the head. The other guy tried grabbing me but I was too hot for him to even go near me. Then he pulled out a black contraption. Sapphire shouted something but with the bandana in her mouth, she couldn't say anything. Then I heard a blast from that small black hand-held weapon. But as soon as I found out where it came from, it knocked me in the head. I fell over and grimaced with pain. Alright, now I was mad. When I'm mad, I don't think clearly. So because of that, I ended up summoning one of home world's technology and shot a bolt of electricity at him. The guy was unconscious so I grabbed Sapphire and ran out of there.

When we got back to the temple, Sapphire took off the bandana that was used to keep her from talking.
"Are you okay, Sapph?" I asked.
"Yeah. What was that weapon you found? Where did you get it?"
"Uhh... I.. Uh... I.. Umm..." I stuttered.
"Ruby,"
"I... Gotta go." I said, running into my lava-filled room.
"Ruby! Come back here!" Sapphire shouted, just as my door shut. I grabbed the files I had been working on beforehand and hid them in my gem. I took out a vocal communicator that acted just like Steven's phone. I pressed certain buttons and sent an emergency message that I would be having Sapphire shortly. Now that she is too close to finding out my mission, there's no point in holding back.
