HE ALMOST LOST HIS BALANCE ON THE SKATEBOARD. Bakugou rocked back on forth on the board wishing no one was there to see him. His wish was granted with an extent.

Y/n.

In front of him she snickered at the boys attempt to impress her. Her hand covered her mouth to muffle the sound.

They were working on simple riding and stopping for the time being. Y/n was simply standing and watching as the teen failed.

No one else was at the park today because y/n asking then not to. Bakugou recently learn shes got a shit ton of power with these people.

They easily listen to what she has to say. He likes that in a girl, someone who can tell people off.

But yet again he distracted himself which resulted in him falling off the board and getting embarrassed.

Y/n stuck out a hand to the boy and grabbed his shirt to pull him to his feet. She gave him a genuine smile that anyone could fall for.

"You're getting... better. Maybe let's try not to get to distracted. Alright?" She asked. Bakugou scoffed and turned his head to the side.

He got back onto the skateboard just before trying to push off again. With a little bit of balance he began to actually not fall for once.

He heard the cheers from the girl behind him. He turned his head back and saw her jumping in place pumping her fists in the air.

Her h/c hair flipping all over the place with the wind. Her shorts, that she usually didn't wear, flapped a small bit.

"I know I'm getting better. You don't have to get all cheery." Bakugou grumbled. Y/n looked to him taken aback by his words.

She placed a hand over her heart while staggering back a bit. "Well excuse me for wanting to support you! I guess you can teach yourself." She crossed her arms and turned around.

The ash blond rolled his eyes at her child like act. He'd notice how sometime y/n would pretend to overreact to thing just for attention.

She's the life of the party if there was one. This girl had such a mind of her own it put everyone in his UA class to shame.

Speaking of his class, Bakugou had the sports festival coming up in maybe two months. He didn't think these lessons would beneficial at all... but that wasn't the case.

Apparently, with all the practicing he's been doing, he's been working his legs pretty well. It was great both for him and his new workout routine.

Bakugou was snapped out of his thoughts by the sound of y/n rummaging through her backpack. Apparently she had a surprise for him tonight.

While the night air was warm and the moon was out, y/n thought this would be a perfect night to spend with her new friend.

She pulled out a heavy speaker that could connect to her phone. Y/n stuck her hand to Bakugou and smiled. "I got this from a... friend... but she said I could use it for tonight."

He raised an eyebrow at her. "What the hell are you talking about skater girl?" Using his right arm he stopped the board and set it upwards. "Don't we have other shit to do?"

Y/n shook her head. "Nope! We just made a milestone, therefore... we can celebrate." She looked around the park just to find no one else in sight. "Tonight's perfect."

The speaker was turned up loud only to hear the playlist of y/n's choice. Bakugou would admit, she had good taste.

As the music started to play louder Bakugou he feel the beats on the ground he stood. "You're gonna wake up the whole fucking neighborhood!" He yelled.

Y/n merely looked to him before grabbing his hands and spinning him around with her. The two danced in circles making the angst teen dizzy.

But for the first time he'd heard y/n laugh. Her laugh was like honey. It felt to right to listen to at that moment.

It was like the song stopped playing and he could only see her, her beautiful smile and laugh the no one could get sick of.

And you'd be surprised, from a girl who had such a laidback personality she seemed like a something straight out of a romance manga.

"God I love this song!" He heard her yell over the blaring music. The girl was now minding her own, dancing away the song until it came to an end.

"You're such an idiot. You know that skater girl?" Y/n turned to him to see his face turned away. He feared she would see the blush set upon his face.

With furrowed eye brows y/n walked over to Bakugou. She put a hand on his cheeks and tightly squished them, then continued to make him look at her. "I'm very aware. But I know you enjoyed it 'Suki..."

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO FUCKING CALL ME THAT!" He yelled to her. Her hand was ripped off his face as he stormed away with skateboard in hand.

Y/n sigh while lazily waving her hand to the boy. "I'll see you tomorrow! Keep up the good work!"

"Tch, whatever."

But in fact those were the words he wanted to hear.

See how we're starting to become more comfortable with Bakugou, this'll be important later. Keep that in mind. And you want to tell me I'm gonna write a skater girl story without adding this song, you're crazy
