When he can't find me

Seiya once explained to me that every living being possesses a cosmos inside of them, since everyone is made of atoms. The ability to manipulate atoms, the seventh sense, is a sensory ability that can only be acquired through training. Since I never went to such training, I cannot sense cosmos at all.

Seiya also told me that it is an ability that can't be forgotten, just like swimming or bike riding. He is always aware of the cosmos of every person around him, of every living being. Even though my cosmos isn't trained, I still possess a small universe within me. When asked, Seiya told me that my cosmos feels gentle and reassuring, like a delicate flower opening its petals or a tree bearing sweet fruits.

Seiya learned to use cosmos to accelerate his movement, making his fists fly like comets towards his opponents. He also possesses the ability to strengthen his fist, so he could shatter rocks, metal and even the sturdy gold cloths. That is the fighting style Marin taught him, which she learned from her master too.

There are many techniques that can be acquired through the use of cosmos and to sense a cosmos is just another kind. It's one thing to recognise the power of someone as cosmos but it's something different to find that cosmos among hundreds of others. It's also another thing to track down a cosmos from across the globe. Seiya simply doesn't possess that kind of precise sensory control.

At least he wasn't trained in it.

It was more or less an accident. We both were walking through Tokyo during rush hour and as we were crossing the street, we were quickly separated through a crowd of people and lost sight of each other.

And none of us had a cell phone.

Now, people could say "It's not that bad." You don't understand how crowded Tokyo is. Not only is it overpopulated, people try to reach their destination as quickly as possible. There is a big chance of actually getting stomped to death, if one isn't careful enough!

Luckily for me though, I managed to reach the pavement safely and even found a spot in which I would stand no one in the way.

But Seiya wasn't by my side...

There was nothing for me to stand on, so Seiya could see my head over the others and Seiya wasn't bigger than other Japanese people. Since we were on our way to his apartment, I concluded that it was the smartest move to go to his apartment and to wait there for him.

But Seiya didn't reach that conclusion just yet.

The second he realised that he couldn't see me anymore, I tried to jump, to get his eyes on me again but he couldn't find me anymore. He then tried to listen to my voice but the crowd was too loud for him to hear me. And finally he tried to track my cosmos but there were so many people, so much cosmos moving around that he couldn't figure out which one was mine.

And then fear started to kick in.

What if I was pushed to the ground and then stomped to death? What if some shabby people kidnapped me? What if I was hurt and laying somewhere, totally vulnerable?

Horrified, Seiya called out for me, grasping the arm or shoulder of every girl with the same hair as me, with similar clothes to me. He even thought of calling the police but they surely wouldn't be able to track me. He went the street up and down dozens of times, acting like a single father who lost his child. He asked around whether people saw me but all of them thought he was looking for a child, shaking their heads in apology.

How ashamed I was, when Seiya filed a missing report at the police station, making it look like I was an idiot that got lost at my age!

And he even called Shun for help!

Seiya gathered his boys to find his lost girlfriend, only for Hyoga to point out the obvious "Have you looked at your destination?"

Running back to his apartment, he found me safe and sound and fell to his knees in tears, his brothers watching him like they couldn't believe they had to witness that scene.

I can't believe it too.

How did I know that Seiya filed a missing report?

The next day when I was on my way to school, a policeman spotted me and asked me if I was the person on the missing report.

My classmates laughed at me all week long...

That day I beat Seiya's ass like I never knew I could.
