After trying to lose Don, I made my way to the fourth hour. I just needed to get through this hour then lunchtime. It didn't matter since Jenny would probably be eating with that new guy Nik and I would be eating alone.

I walked in and took a seat. Before I knew it one of the new guys walked in. Fabulous. He took place next to me. Please let him not talk to me.

"Don't you have a lamb to find," I heard someone asked.

I looked around, and I heard them say, "Hey you."

I turned to see the new guy talking to me, "who me," I asked.

"Yeah, you. Don't you have a lamb to find?"

"Huh," I asked, confused.

"You know Mary had a little lamb and all that jazz," he said to me waving his hand around.

"What's your name," I asked.

"Me? I'm Blitz Holiday," he said casually.

"Okay blitzkrieg, for your information, no I don't have a stupid lamb. Now if you don't mind, I have better things to do than listen to your nonsense," I said glaring at him.

"Blitzkrieg? Don't you think that's a little harsh? No wonder they were always on the naughty list," he said, shaking his head and making a tsk, tsk, tsk sound with his mouth.

"Huh," I asked, confused.

"Nothing. Just a Christmas reference," he said, waving me off.

I turned to face the teacher who started class. Okay let's see, the first guy was rude, the second a nut and the third, well, he's a bit sarcastic - Super, just what I need.

On the plus side he didn't talk to me the rest of the class, thank god. Seeing as I already got detention because of Don, I didn't need to add to it.

After class, I headed to my locker and grabbed my lunch. I decided to eat in the section of the school that was empty. It would be different if Jenny were available, at least people tolerated me when she was there even if she said things here and there. It was better than nothing.

I sat there eating alone when I heard someone yell, "there you are!"

I looked up to see Don and Blitz standing in front of me. "Why are you all here by yourself, in the dark no less?" I gulped my sandwich as I looked at him with his cheeky grin.

"It's too cold to eat outside," I said with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Then why don't you eat in the cafeteria like normal people," Blitz asked.

I just looked at him. I didn't know what to say. I didn't want them to know I was a bigger loser than I already was. That my only friend was my frenemy.

"Too loud," I lied. I had become accustomed to lying. It worked, well for me at least.

They looked at each other, then Don said, "eh, everyone's loud. Come on."

Before I had a chance to react, they both yanked me up, and Don grabbed my hand, dragging me to the cafeteria while Blitz grabbed my lunch and books.

They set me down at a table with people who just looked at me.

"Take a picture it will last longer or not," Blitz said, taking a seat along with Don. They turned and went back to their conversation.

"Does someone need a hug? Because you're getting cranky like Comet," Don said cheerily.

Blitz narrowed his eyes as I said, "your bunny gets cranky?"

"Bunny," Blitz asked.

"Yeah, Don said he had a bunny named Comet," I said to him.

Blitz looked at him, "oh, I can't wait to meet Comet the bunny."

Don shrugged as he dug into some food. Mostly fruits and vegetables. That was odd. Most teen boys usually dig into junk food galore, not fruits and vegetables. I watched Blitz do the same thing. Probably the reason they are so fit and fast.

As we ate, we watched as Nik sauntered into the cafeteria with Jenny on their arm.

"That was fast," Don whispered to Blitz.

Blitz narrowed his eyes and frown, "yeah too fast."

"Well, I don't like her," Don said.

"Who? Jenny," I asked.

"Yeah, she chafes me the wrong way and trusts me. I know to chafe," he said with his hand up.

"What about you Blitz," I asked, not knowing what his answer would be or even if I should talk to him.

He shrugged. Odd.

As the three of us watched them, I got the feeling that Don and Blitz were none too happy. I wonder why?
