We were all walking down the hall in prison clothes as metal doors opened and closed behind us. We soon walked into a room full of inmates banging at the bars.

Nya hid behind Jay, in which Jay fell.

Cole and I helped Jay up.

"Don't look scared . Look mean. You gotta look hard in a place like this." Cole said

"Meat, fresh meat." Some of the prisoners were saying.

"Don't mind them. They all get a little grouchy when they don't get their meat." The warden said

Jay gasps as we saw a lady ringing a triangle passing meat down to the prisoners.

We all began picking up our pace and quickly moved past them.

"Kryptarium Prison. We've been here before, but as guests, never inmates." Zane said

Lloyd tried breaking his cuffs but wasn't able to.

"You can try, but those shackles are made of Vengestone. Pretty good for shutting down your powers and making sure you don't ghost out of here. Oh, and Y/n's are made out Vengestone and Dragon proof metal. Hard metal to find but we got by." The warden said

"Oh. Yeah? But how god are they against my super strength?" Cole said

He pulled at the chains but didn't break out of them.

"Just wait. Almost got them." Cole said

"They aren't gonna break." Nya said

"Best to stop so you don't make a fool of yourself in front of the inmates." I said

"Hey, aren't those the ninja? They're responsible for putting me in this place!" A skeleton said

'Ew an actual talking skeleton.'

I felt my chains be pulled as we ran past them and ahead.

"And we're shuffling, we're shuffling." Cole said

"Since you're celebrities, I took the liberty of taking you out of the general population." The warden said

"Ha! Who doesn't love special treatment?" Kai asked

"And placing you in the super mean and dangerous population." The warden finished as he opened the door.

"Yeah, special treatment. Great." I said rolling my eyes.

"You're real special, all right." Nya said

"It's no problem, warden. We'll do our time until all of this is straightened out. Like I said before, we were framed." Lloyd said

"That's what they all say. Now, get in your cell, inmates." The warden said. He then began looking for his keys.

"Oh, god. Gosh, darn it,I forgot my keys again. Look stay here while I go find them." He said

He then ran away from us to search for his keys.

We turned around to see all the prisoners yelling.

"At least they're locked up." Jay said laughing nervously.

A dude with a metal arm  hit a button on his metal arm and all the cell doors opened and they all walked towards us.

'Way to go Jay, you jinxed it again.'

"Nifty gadget. You make that?" Lloyd asked

"They call me The Mechanic. And I've got a bone to pick with you." The Mechanic said

"Yeah, yeah." The other inmates started cheering.

"Well, that's one more bone than you've got in your entire arm. Let me guess you don't have much of a spine either." Lloyd said

"I used to repair noodle trucks for Master Chen and his underground organization. When you put him out of business, you put me out of business." The Mechanic said

"Then by my observations, that was your own error. Working for a crime boss isn't a reliable career choice." Zane said

"By my observation, actions have consequences, and you have to pay. This nindroid here, it's got spare parts. I could use a few in a place like this." The Mechanic said

"Yes, yeah." The inmates cheered

"Watch your mouth Mechanic. You touch him and I'll bust that metal arm of yours." I threatened

"And I could use a spare arm. These chains won't stop us." Lloyd said jumping in as well.

"So back off before you get hurt." I added

"Got my keys! Oh, come on, knuckleheads, shake hands and be friends." The warden said pushing us away from each other a bit.

Lloyd and the Mechanic both shook hands.

"Just wait until l I get my hands on your nindroid." The Mechanic whispered

"Yeah, and you'll be the one without a hand." I whispered back

"Come on, boys, back to your cells." The guards beside us said directing the other prisoners away as we went into our cell.

"Let's hope Darreth gets us out of here soon. I don't know how much longer we can last in a place like this." Kai said

We were in the visitors area and Darreth came and sat down in front of us.

"What are you doing to get us out of here?" Cole asked yelling through the phone.

"This is no place for a nindroid." Zane said

"I don't look good in stripes." Kai said

"I swear if another prisoner asks if I'm single. I'm going to blow a hole into the side of the building!" I said

"They're all so mean. Help us. You have to help us." Jay said

"Shh. While we're stuck in here, the Djinn is out there." Lloyd said shushing us.

"I know, I'm doing everything I can. Borg wanted me to let you know that the Djinn broke into Hiroshi's Labyrinth stronghold and took the Realm Crystal. The good news is, everything else is accounted for. The bad news is, the Djinn mark now have his old crew back." Darreth explained

"You have to get us out of here, Darreth. You're our manager. What are you doing to manage this?" Kai said

"Did you get the cake? I baked some tools in it for you to cut through the bars." Darreth asked lowering his voice.

"Cake? We didn't get any cake." Jay said

"Uh, how was I supposed to know there was something in it? I just thought it was crunchy." Cole said

"You are our only way out?!" Jay asked angrily

"How did you even manage to eat cake?! Your a ghost?" I questioned

"I may no longer be a human but I will always love cake." Cole said

I sighed at this.

"Well, sounds like you're on your own. Be strong, little ninja." Darreth said

"What do you mean on our own?" Kai asked

"You're not leaving us in here!" Jay said

"Wait, Darreth!" Cole called out to him.

"I should've known you'd leave us in here." I stated

After that we were brought into the cafeteria to eat. The lunch lady was putting spoon fulls of slip on our plates.

When she got to Kai she gave him a bit extra.

"A little extra since you're my favorite." The lunch lady said

"You said you wanted special treatment." Nya said

She gave everyone else slop and when she got to me it was empty.

'Oh thank goodness.'

"You wouldn't happen to have any fish back there would you?" I asked

"Just last night we had some rotten fish. I even got some extra for a time like this. Let me go to the back and get it." The lunch lady said

She went to the back and came back with something I thought I'd never see again.

"It's the only one left, a salted Sea Bass." The lunch lady said

She put it on my plate and I joined the others.

"So, the bad guys are out there, while the good guys are in here. It's not fair." Jay said

"Life's not fair Jay." I said

I groaned as I started to eat the Sea Bass. I even grabbed a pinch of salt and put it in my pocket. It was small but no one would notice salt.

"What was it your favorite movie character would say? "Fair isn't a word where I come from." Cole questioned

"The word was fear. And if intergalactic space hero Fritz Donnegan was here, we'd already be out." Jay said

"Who's Fritz Donnegan?" I asked

"You don't know who Fritz Donnegan is? He's only the best movie character in the world." Jay exclaimed

"Jay, I grew up in a Viking world. I'm not familiar with movie people." I explained

Cole tried to pick up his muffin but it was completely solid.

"Is this a muffin or a fossilized rock?" Cole questioned

"Hey, how come you don't have to eat this slop?" Jay complained

"The lunch lady ran out and gave me this. Which I hoped I'd never have to eat again after last time." I explained

A different prisoner grabbed Cole's muffin and said "Earth Ninja, no one likes you. What's Earth anyway?" He said and walked away

"Mind your own business pal, and we'll mind ours." I scoffed

"He's a Jay fan." The lunch lady explained

"Hi, guys, care for some ninja company?" Lloyd asked as we sat down next to some prisoners.

We joined the others as they sat down.

"Guess they can't all be fans." Zane said

"We may be out of the action, but that doesn't mean we can't take action. So, what do we know about this Djinn?" Lloyd asked

That's when a pirate with a fork leg steeped on Lloyd's plate.

"Did someone say Djinn? You best not be speaking about Nadakhan the Djinn." The pirate said

"His name is Nadakhan the Djinn?" Kai questioned

"Hey, it's Captain Soto, the first captain of the Destiny's Bounty." Jay said

"And it's Jay, the whiny sniveling blue pajama man who says everything obvious." Captain Soto remarked

Nya and I both laughed a bit.

"Why can't anyone here be nice?" Jay asked

"But who be you two? I don't know you. Are you both...pajama women?" Captain Soto asked

"Yes, you could say that." Nya said

"No. You look really familiar for some reason." Captain Soto said pointing to Nya.

"And you I've never seen you around these parts before. Who are you?" He asked

"If you must know. My names Y/n, and yes I only just "moved" here you could say." I said

"Let's cut the small talk. You know him?" Lloyd said

"Know him? I was the one who caught him." Captain Soto said

"So you were the one who trapped him in the teapot? But how?" Kai asked

"Catching a Djinn is harder than steering a
galleon upstream in a storm with a leaky hill. But let me try to articulate me words so that you can visualize it." Captain Soto explained

"Long ago, me crew were aboard Destiny's Bounty, the finest ship ever built. Save one other. Misfortune's Keep. Nadakhan the Djinn was the most feared pirate of the high seas. Since he was from another realm, his powers were unmatched. He and his crew were always a step ahead. The trick to catching a Djinn ain't be getting him into the vessel. It's making sure he don't poof away when you try to do it." He explained

'Glad I'm not from Nadakhan's realm.'

"Ha! Easy. Just wish him into it." Kai said

"Easy? Everyone knows you can't wish for more wishes, you can't wish for love, and you can't wish to harm others. Wishing a Djinn into a teapot would most certainly fall into that category." Captain Soto explained

"What do you mean you can't wish for love?" Jay asked

Cole, Nya, and I all gave Jay a look.

"What? I'm asking for a friend. Heh." Jay said

"Don't let us stop you. You were just about to tell us how to catch a Djinn." Cole said

"Certainly. To stop a Djinn, you must—" Captain Soto said but was cut off.

A mechanical hand was slammed onto the table.

"Well, well, well. Looks like you saved us some seats. Now let's talk about some spare parts." The Mechanic said

"Not now, Sprocket Arm. We're dealing with first tier bad guys here. You're fifth tier. Maybe fourth tier, tops." Cole said

"The only spare parts you're gonna get is from that Skeleton behind you." I remarked

"Fourth tier?" The Mechanic asked angrily pulling out a spoon.

Some of the other prisoners pulled out different kinds of stuff to fight with.

"Look at that, pajama people, they have all the weapons. And you are chained." Captain Soto said laughing at the end.

"Yeah. Sounds like it's almost a fair fight."Cole said

We all got up and threw our trays and food at people.

"Ahh! My eyes it's so salty!" One of the prisoners complained as I hit him with the Sea Bass.

We were fighting for a couple of minutes.

"Where's Zane? I don't see Zane." Lloyd asked

Meanwhile Zane was put into a corner by the Mechanic and a different prisoner.

"I told them I'd get my hands on you." The Mechanic said

We were all fighting while looking for Zane.

"Where's Zane?" Nya asked

"And where's the Mechanic?" Nya asked

I smacked a prisoner with my chains.

"If their both not here then their probably together which is not a good thing." I said

The Mechanic managed to open up Zane's chest.

"Oh. Look at all those spare parts." The Mechanic said

A few seconds later Pixal helps Zane get the Mechanic off him and joins back into the fight.

"Finish what you were gonna say. You said you knew how to catch Nadakhan." Lloyd said

"The only way to slow a Djinn long enough is to catch one is with two ways. The venom of a Tiger Widow or the venom of a Snake with wings. One drop a Tiger Widow. Is strong enough to kill a man of tire out a Djinn, so he won't be poofing around. Then this Snake with wings. It's poisonous to the touch, but if you get it's venom be sure to not touch it." Captain Soto explained

"Tiger Widow? I've never even heard of one of those." Lloyd asked

"And a snake with wings are you talking about the Slitherwing?" I asked

"That's what the snakes with wings are? I could have guessed that." Captain Soto said

"Where do I find them?" Lloyd asked

"You don't. They be the rarest of creatures, indigenous to only one island that's found on no map, but me own." Captain Soto explained

We kept fighting pushing the other prisoners back.

"Then where's your map?" Kai asked

The lunch lady brought out the rock like muffins.

"All right, lunch crew, serve them up!" The lunch lady said

That's when some guards started to defuse the fight. Separating us.

"Take them back to their cells." One of the guards said

"Not the ninja. They go to the hole for starting this mess." The warden said

"Wait, tell us where the map is. Soto!" Lloyd said as we were being pushed away in different directions.

"Break me out of this place and I'll tell you. You want the map? I want me freedom. Speaking of which, can anyone tell me where my leg is?"Captain Soto said

"I guess we can try to find this Tiger Widow or Slitherwing on our own in eight to ten years." Kai said

"Or we could bust out of here tonight and take Soto with us." Lloyd suggested

We were now in a cell that was in the floor.

"This has to literally be our lowest point. We're in a hole, rock bottom." Jay said

"On the bright side, if we were never arrested, we never would've talked to Captain Soto." Nya said

"Y/n can you tell us more about the Slitherwing? Just incase we can't get the venom from the Tiger Widow." Lloyd asked

"Let me think. The Slitherwing is a snake like dragon. Very venomous to touch. The more colorful it is the deadlier it's attack. Um, it has a cure, Angel fern, Pine sap, and Slitherwing venom. It so venomous you'll be dead by the next moon. But..." I explained

'Thank you Fishlegs for allowing me to study your dragon cards.'

"There's always a but. Just has to be there huh." Jay said

"Sit out already." Cole said

"Slitherwings are rare I've only ever seen them in one place. So if their on this island Captain Soto is talking about then we might have a chance." I said

"If only we could use our powers again." Zane said

"First thing's first." Lloyd said and he pulled out a fork.

"A fork? What are we gonna do, eat our way out?" Cole remarked

Lloyd stood up and began using the fork to pick the lock on his chains.

"I was thinking, something else." Lloyd said as he got out of his chains.

Lloyd used his powers and broke all of our chains off. We all stood up in the process.

"Great, we got our powers back. Now, how do we get out of this hole?" Jay said

"Cole and Y/n will escape through the bars. Then they'll figure out a way to free the rest of us." Lloyd explained

Cole used his ghost powers to escape through the bars. While I Airjitsu while using my phantom powers to phase right through. I then used a small plasma blast to break the lock and Cole opens the door.

The others did Airjitsu to jump out.

"Once we escape the hole, we find Soto." Lloyd explained

He then used his power to bust through the door.

We ran out of the room and down the hall.

"Jay, make sure we're not seen." Lloyd said

Jay used his lightning to take out the security cameras in the way. Later we found Captain Soto sleeping and Kai used his fire to melt the bars.

"Come with me, quietly." Kai said

Soto jumped down and had a horn he now used as a leg.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me." I scoffed

The sirens started going off as we ran.

"Once we have Soto, Zane will make sure we're not followed." Lloyd explained

Zane uses his ice and froze the floor making the guards fall.

We made it to a wall and I used another plasma blast to break through it. Once we climbed through Kai put a poster in front of the guards completely confusing them.

'How dumb are these guards.'

Though one of them I'm kicked a rock into the poster showing them the way. Though it was to late for them as we already made it to the other side of the tunnel.

We then began jumping onto different columns.

"Since they'll have the main doors we'll guarded, we'll need to make our exit through the sewer pipes." Lloyd explained opening the hatch.

"Sewer pipes? Argh. Gross." Jay said

Soon enough the warden and two guards spotted us as they made it through the tunnel. Though we were already jumping down the hatch.

"If we're spotted, Nya, help us make a quick
getaway." Lloyd said

Nya used her water and sent us through the sewer pipes and into a puddle of water outside the prison. Luckily Kai and I held Cole up so he wouldn't get wet.

"We made it." Jay said

We all began cheering as we were finally out of there.

We soon out Cole down once we were away from the water.

"Thank you, pajama people." Captain Soto said

"All right, Soto. We held up our end of the bargain, now you hold up yours. Where's the map?" Kai asked

"The map's hidden within a lantern. Light its candle im and it'll show you the way." Caption Soto explained

"Then where's the lantern? Gosh, all you pirates are so long winded." Jay asked

"Ah, it'd be our nature. We can't refuse a good treasure hunt." Captain Soto said

"Where's the lantern? Soto?" Lloyd asked

"That's the tricky part. It's aboard his ship, Misfortune's Keep." Captain Soto said

"Nadakhan's ship? I thought we said we were trying to avoid that guy?" Cole said

We saw some guards walking out of the prison looking for us.

"I never said it was going to be easy. Good luck, and may the winds always be in your sails." Captain Soto said

He then walked away. Before turning around.

"Of course it has to be on his ship." I groaned

"Wait, I suddenly remember why you look so familiar." Captain Soto said before laughing.

"Oh, my, that be a charm! By word? you're a spitting image of her." He said

"Of who?" Nya asked

We all split ways from Captain Soto and ran away from the prison.
