Y/n's Pov:

I was in my disguise walking around Ninjago City with Nya. We both were standing outside of a store that had some tvs outside.

"The ninja haven't been seen in days, but that hasn't stopped one from updating his status. @Fi-yah13 posted: A place of peace, a place to fight, a brotherhood born on one fateful night. What does it mean? Is it a message? Is it a riddle?" The reporter said

Nya put on some glasses and gently hit my shoulder so I could follow her. We easily made our way past the police cars and down an alleyway.

"I'm guessing you know what Kai posted." I asked

"Yeah. We need to go to the Monastery of Spinjitsu. It's where they all first met." Nya said

"All right then let's go." I said

Once we were clear of the olive we summoned our elemental dragons and met up with everyone at the Monastery.

"Seriously? I was the last one to figure out it was Wu's old monastery?" And Lloyd and Y/n weren't even trained here." Jay said getting off his elemental dragon.

"It'll only be a matter of time before they find this place too, so there isn't much time. Zane, show them what you found." Lloyd said

"I came across security footage of sensei at the library of Domu. He was not alone." Zane said

He then showed us a scene from the Domu Library.

"Hey, look. It's Wu." Cole said

Then a few seconds later something teleported in the security footage.

"What happened? Who was he looking at?" Kai asked

"We don't know, but no one's seen him since." Cole said

"The library database indicated he has checked out a book about the Teapot of Tyrahn. We originally thought we may be dealing with Clouse. If this is what I think it is, it appears to be far worse. We may have Djinn on our hands." Zane said turning off the footage.

"A Djinn?" Jay and I questioned

"Like a genie, only when he grants you wishes, you'll be wishing you never met him." Nya explained

"What else do we know about Djinn?" Lloyd asked

"Hmm. Not much, just that they are very sneaky and have great power." Kai said

He began to explain what he knew while Zane and Jay were talking to each other.

"Then it's settled. Since we know so little about Djinns, we need to head back to town to investigate more about him." Lloyd said

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. If we head back together, the police will arrest us on sight. We should split up." Cole said

"But anyone caught alone with this character suddenly disappears." Kai argued

"Then we travel in pairs. Zane, you and I will head to the library to see what else we can find." Lloyd said

Jay then ran over next to Nya and Cole.

"Wait, wait, wait." Jay said

"Yeah, yeah. And Jay, Y/n, and I will look for clues at the scene of the crime where he framed us. What do you say, buddy, just like old times?" Cole asked

"Heh, sweet. Who doesn't like old times? Eh?" Jay said

"That's fine with me." I said

"Kai, you and your sister see what else is out there. If we clear our names and get sensei back, we need to find the Djinn and take him down. Let's meet back here at sunup. Oh. And, guys, look out for each other." Lloyd said

We all ran in separate directions and summoned our elemental dragons.

It was mostly a smooth ride but I stayed quiet thinking about D/n.

'I hope he's okay. I mean we've been separated before but this is a different realm and we've been trapped here for a year.'

Jay and Cole seemed to notice this and I did t even notice them fly beside me.

"You alright there Y/n?" Jay asked

"Huh? Oh, I'm fine. Just worried about D/n." I said looking down.

"He'll be fine, I'm sure of it. The police may look bad but they are actually really nice." Cole said

"Yeah, when you're not the one being wanted for crimes you didn't commit." Jay added raising his voice a bit.

We then arrived at Mega Monster Amusement Park. We jumped off our elemental dragons as they disappeared behind us.

"Looks like Mega Monster Amusement Park shut down after it became a crime scene. Come on, let's go check out the roller coaster. That's where Zane was framed." Cole said

"Huh, this place gives me so many fond memories. It's here I found my true potential. Oh, and over there is where Nya and I went on our first date. I bet she and I will laugh about all this." Jay said laughing at the end.

Cole then gave him a confused look.

'If you want to hide something. Don't make it obvious.'

I faced palm at this.

"Uh, I mean, why would she laugh at that? Heh. She hates me. It's not like I'd expect anything to suddenly change between her and I. Where is that roller coaster?" Jay said

"It has to be around here somewhere." I said looking around.

"The only thing this place gives me is the creeps. Let's not stick around any longer than we need to. There it is." Cole said

We walked up to roller coaster.

"Just what kind of clues are we even looking for exactly?" I asked

"I don't know, it's not like there are any witnesses around to tell us what they saw." Cole said

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Jay said

We walked to a line of screens and Jay used his lightning to turn them on and show the events of what happened that day.

"Ha, ha. It's practically a visual timeline of the events that day. Jay, you're a genius." Cole said

"That was some smart thinking there Jay." I said

"Like I said, it's where I found my true potential." Jay said

'I wonder if I'll unlock my true potential.'

He then started scrolling through the pictures.

"There. That's our guy." Cole said

Jay scrolled between a picture of Zane and the Djinn.

"These pictures were taken seconds after each other." Jay said

"That means that guy is Zane." Cole said

"Huh, you mean—?" Jay questioned

"The Djinn can shape shift. He can be anybody." Cole said

Jay gasped and put his hand right through Cole's stomach.

I faced palmed at this.

'He may be smart, but also a knucklehead as well.'

Cole groaned "Seriously?"

Just then the roller coaster turned on.

"Oh great. Jay, what did you do now?" I asked a bit annoyed

"I didn't touch anything." Jay said

"Guess we can add trespassing to your charges. Don't bother calling your friends, I already caught them." Ronin said over the speaker.

Jay and I both looked at Cole and saw he had turned invisible.

"Cole, seriously?" I asked

"Really? You're disappearing? You're leaving us alone?" Jay asked angrily

"If he already has the others, all three of can't get caught. I'm sorry, but you're both on you're own. Good luck." Cole said

"A ninja never leaves a ninja behind. Some friend you are." Jay said

"Spilt up he can't get us all at once." I said

Jay ran towards the roller coaster while I ran the other way.

After a few minutes I turned around and saw Jay get caught in a sack.

"Five down, two to go." Ronin said turning to me.

'Crap.'

"Don't make this harder than it already is. Just come peacefully and no one gets hurt." Ronin said

"Where is he?" I threatened summoned my white power sword.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not be hasty. He's safe. As long as you come with me peacefully." Ronin said

I could see the smirk on his face growing. He shot a bolas around my waste electrocuting me.

"You're care to much about others that's your downfall. Do what I do, put yourself first." Ronin said

"Six down, one more to go." Ronin said

The commissioner a bag of money and we were all in Vengestone chains while mine had a reinforcement of Dragon proof metal, being loaded up onto a prison bus.

"The search is over. We have the ninja. Ninjago is safe once again. Now, let this be a lesson to everyone. No matter who you are or how famous you become, justice will find you." The commissioner said

We watched as people began taking pictures of us in the prison bus as we were leaving.

"We have a place for criminals. It's called Kryptarium."
