Sunset Shimmer and her friends stood completely still, wondering what could they do in such situation. If they didn't come up with a plan soon, not only them but other innocent lives would be doomed. Maybe even their entire world. Only thinking about such outcomes made them even more terrified than ever. There was no guarantee that those monstrous robots would show mercy if they surrendered and took their powers. They couldn't let any of that happen. Unfortunately, with each passing second, the giants grew impatient and their blasters began to power up.

Before it was too late, Sunset instinctively moved in front of the group without thinking and spread her hands out of defense as fast as possible, "WAIT, DON'T--!"

*HONK HONK*

Unexpectedly, she was interrupted by loud honking sounds that could be heard from afar. Everyone focused on the direction where the sound came from and were caught by surprise. A big rig truck, colored in red and blue, along with a dark green SUV by its side, both with bright headlights, were driving towards them at high speed.

The threatening giants were stunned for a second until one of them ordered, "It's the Prime and one of his soldiers! Eliminate them!" they rapidly aimed their weapons at the fast-approaching vehicles and started to shoot.

Since they were distracted, Sunset hurriedly took this opportunity for them to escape from the mess before anyone got hurt, "We have to get out of here, now! Go!" she shouted and the girls nodded in agreement. When they started running far from the fight, someone promptly grabbed Sunset's arm and pulled her back to stop, "Twilight, what are you-?!"

"Look!" the purple girl pointed to the ongoing combat. They could see how those evil robots were struggling to strike directly, the unknown drivers were successfully dodging every upcoming blast and increased their speed even more. At that moment, the truck's parts began to displace.

The girls gasped in utter disbelief as they watched. When the mysterious truck came closer to the shooters, they saw how it fully gained the form of a much bigger robot and punched one of the attackers so hard their head was thrown off far away, its only left body fell on the ground, completely immobile. The big one stood up, it had a gray face with blue optics, two sphere-shaped bases with antennas on each side of his blue helmet, a red chest with windows from his vehicle mode, two wheels with a pair of smokestacks attached at the back and four wheels at the back of his legs.

Before the two remaining faceless giants tried to get a good aim at him, they felt the ground shaking and heard big metal steps running from behind. After turning around to see who it was, they were greeted by a bulkier robot with a dark green and black paint job along with blue optics, a black bar going through the top of his head, and a metallic jaw, "Surprise!" he shouted as his hand transformed into wrecking ball-like mace weapon and swung it with full force at one of their heads, which in the process, was crushed into pieces.

The last one hurriedly pressed something on the side of his head, "We need assistance this in-!" his communication was cut off by a powerful blast on his back and fell down, only to reveal the red and blue robot, standing from behind. His weapon cooled down, it had a circular form, blue light could be seen from the inside.

"That was close. Good thing we got rid of them on time." the green one notified.

The bigger giant turned around and noticed the tiny humans staring in awe, without moving a muscle. He examined them carefully, then his bright blue optics focused on the red-yellow haired girl, standing in front of everyone else as if she was protecting them from any more upcoming danger. He could clearly see the uncertainty which was resembled on her face.

Alas, it was not over yet. The silence was abruptly interrupted by distant drifting wheels. Every human and 'Bot's gaze faced the sight of more fast-approaching cars with the same purple and black color schemes.

"Not quite." the tallest one spoke and together with his associate prepared their weapons for yet another impending battle.

What they didn't expect to hear was the engines and beeping sounds of two very familiar vehicles that came into view from the opposite side of the road.

A yellow Urbana 500 with black stripes and a fully red Lamborghini Countach.

The blue-helmed robot recognized them right away and ordered, "Bumblebee, Sideswipe, get the humans out of here immediately, Bulkhead and I will handle the rest."

"Understood, Optimus!" Bumblebee replied, then both cars swiftly halted next to the girls and opened their doors to let them inside.

"You heard the big guy, get in!" directed Sideswipe.

The group backed away out of suspense and confusion, they had no idea if they could trust them, not after what happened a moment ago, "What in tarnation is goin' on here?!" Applejack interrogated.

"No time to explain, please just trust us!" hurriedly insisted Bumblebee.

Sunset gave the yellow car a perplexed look, "Trust you? Who even are you?!"

"Listen lady, the longer we stay here, the worse it will get. Now hurry up and get inside already!" Sideswipe annoyingly urged.

"Okay, okay eesh!" Rainbow finally gave in and made her way inside the Lamborghini, the others followed along.

Fluttershy was the first one who approached the yellow Urbana and peeked inside, she was expecting to be greeted by the car user but there was no one, the driver seat was entirely empty, "But... there's no one driving?"

The attackers noticed their attempt for escape and straight off transformed into their robot modes, they aimed their blasters, and began to shoot, "Don't let them get away!" one of them gave a strict command.

"Darling please, hurry!" Rarity instantly begged Fluttershy. Both of them together with Sunset, Twilight and Spike hopped in Bumblebee. Rainbow, Applejack and Pinkie got inside Sideswipe. After closing their doors, the cars turned on their powerful engines and drove off at top speed.

Optimus and his bulkier friend gave them last glances and went to face their enemies once again, "Let's clean up some trash!" Bulkhead bumped both of his mace weapons threateningly and ran to the shooters, Optimus following from behind.

Even when the violent scene was becoming more distant, the girls could still see it visibly well from the rear windows of the fast-driving cars. The tense silence broke when Bumblebee spoke to someone else, "Fixit! Open the bridge, now!" the teens gave him puzzled glances, wondering who he was talking to until they saw a light coming out in the middle of the road right ahead, soon enough it gave the form of a large portal.

"Where are we going?!" Sunset nervously asked.

"To a safer place, hold on tight!" Bumblebee warned, although none of them knew what exactly awaited them from the other side, they did what they were told anyway.

"No!" one of the faceless robots shouted and headed for the runaways, in order to prevent them from escaping.

However, Bulkhead quickly noticed his movements and transformed his arm into a giant blaster, "Oh no, you won't!" and shot him down right on time. Meanwhile, Optimus sliced each one of them in half with his arm which had already formed into a giant blade. With no going back, both cars managed to go through the portal safely and vanished out of their sight, along with the light. The last standing faceless giants rapidly came to a halt and slowly backed away from their opponents. 

"We have to retreat and report to the commander!"

"Let's get out of here!"

"This is not over, Autoscums!" the last one threatened with his fist and transformed into his alt-mode, together with his comrades recoiled and set off.

"Ha! That's right, run away you cowards!" Bulkhead proudly mocked and laughed, "Man, how I missed this, just like old times, ain't it Optimus?" he asked his taller companion, his arms transforming back into normal.

"It is indeed, my friend. Nonetheless, I'm afraid that from now on things will get more extreme and threatening." he responded while staring at the fading automobiles, "We must provide safety for those girls and to protect their lives."

"No matter the cost."
