The dog was flying towards Robinrunner. Robinrunners heart froze a moment before he regained control over his body. His body was tense as a feather and every fur straw on his body was standing on edge. He could see where the dog would land and he knew it would find Webpaw. '' Well I guess it is my time to go but I won't go without a fight'' he thought as he lunged himself towards the dog.

The dog's mouth was open ready to bite him and Robinrunner could see the long sharp teeth that the mouth contained. Robinrunner sunk his claws deep into the dog's face. It let out a cry of pain before it jerked its head and Robinrunner when flying into the air.

When Robinrunner landed the dust flew up into the air but that was the last thing on his mind. The dog was alredy lunging itself towards him the bite. Robinrunner decided to be faster so he once again.

This time he landed on the dogs back. Robinrunner suddenly remembered when he had been an apprentice an had learned the bager tecnique. A dog was similar enough to use it so he once again sunk his claws deep into the dog's flesh. The dog let out a low growl before it jerked its head towards its back to get a grip of Robinrunner. Robinrunner let out an involuntary meow when the dog's teeth brushed against his neck.

Robinrunner was about to bite the dog's neck when he felt something janked him out from the dog's back. He was dangling in the air from the dog's mouth. The creature had a hold on his leg and Robinnrunner let out an agonising scream. Something changed in the mouth that was holding his leg and Robinrunner shot towards the dog's throat.

He sunk his teeth deep into the dog's throat and could feel the blood filling his mouth and face. The grip around his leg tightened but Robinrunner didn't care, he started clawing and could feel his fur filling with a mixture of the dog's blood and his own. Robinnrunner was unable to see anything else than the dog's bloody fur.

The dog jerked its head and Robinrunner was dragged from its throat. Something stung in his paw but that wasn't what he was concerned about. He was flying through the air and landed with a low thud on the ground. Robinrunner was ready to see the dog at his throat but everything he heard was a high pitched sound and he could see the dog running towards the sound. '' Thank you Starclan for letting me die in peace'' he sent to their ancestors in the sky.

Robinrunner collapsed onto the ground when the adrenalin was gone and the pain seemed to be the only thing in the world. Robinrunner could hear pawsteps and could hear voices far away. His vision was blurry and he couldn't make out who the cat over him was but he immediately recognised Hazelfiers leafy scent. Robinrunner let out a low purr and he wanted to say something but his mouth was glued shut.

A sudden tiredness filled Robinrunner. He just wanted to close his eyes and then all of this pain would be gone. Robinrunner could smell his friends distress.

- It will be fine, Robinrunner breathed out before he closed his eyes. That tired feeling was everything he could feel now and Robinrunner could felt Starclan tugging on his soul. That was the last thing he remembered before unconsciousness took him.
