Wolfheart was running through the forest. He was not angry anymore like he had been on the way back when he had just ran into the forest with just saying that he was going for walk. He had avoided Robinrunnner and was intent on doing that until the tom apologised. He had also just blurted out that he loved Robinrunner which was bad enough but they had fought before it. Robinrunner just didn't understand how bad Hazlefire was for him. The tom's friend would give him up for crowfood. Robinrunner deserved better but he refused to see sense and it drove Wolfheart insane. Hazelfire was hurting Robinrunner and he just couldn't just let it go on. His leaps became greater and greater until he saw the lake. There he speed up before jumping into the lake. It was odd but Wolfheart enjoyed swimming and with his powerful legs he was a strong swimmer, fast too. It cleaned Wolfheart's mind of everything when he just focused on the lake and its water. Any cat who would have found him then and there would have been met by an extremely angry warrior. It had happened one time that an apprentice had found him a day he had been running through the forest to get his mind off some things and dared to complain to him that he had lost it. He hadn't screamed and yelled but he had scared the apprentice out of his own fur. Wolfheart could still look back at that day and still smile about it.

Wolfheart dove under the surface and opened his eyes underwater. It was dark and quiet, it was peaceful and calming in a sort of way. When Wolfheart broke the surface for air his long thick fur was plastered on his body. It was cold and dark and he could see the stars in the sky dancing over the lake. In the middle of it all he saw the moon. Wolfheart slowly swam towards the shore where he sat down and cleaned himself. It was a thing he did after swimming so that no cat would notice the nodes his fur got but it was worth it. That was the only downside to swimming all of the nodes his fur got.

Wolfheart looked at the peaceful lake and its dark water with the smallest shards of silver. He sat there in silence for a long while. If he could he would spend all day there at the lake ignoring any and every cat who comes. He would sit there like he imagined Starclan did and watch over every cat who visited the lake but he couldn't he was needed by his clan and by Robinrunner even if the tom didn't know it yet. He couldn't leave the tom with Hazelfire it would end badly he knew it.

Wolfheart rose and let his gaze wander over the lake one last time before he slowly started to walk into the forest. It was dark and quiet in the forest. The sounds of owls and other forest life was like an ocean of calmness who swept him into its waves. Wolfheart's mind wandered off to Robinrunner and the clan not noticing where his paws were taking him.

When the sounds of owls' wing beats snapped Wolfheart out of his thoughts' and he realised that he was near the river where Robinrunner had found that fox. His mind went back to that day Robinrunner had found the fox, he had been so scared for the tom afraid he would die. What had happened to those feelings? He still loved the tom but it was different now not as overprotective and more just that constant need to be together with the tom. When Wolfheart sat down and looked over the small river everything he felt was just sorrow.

When the sun rose Wolfheart was making his way back to camp with a squirrel. He had caught the little creature earlier that day close to the river. Even now with his shoulders weighed down by all of his problems his mind went back to his apprentice days.

''Wolfpaw was holding a big squirrel in his mouth. He had worked hard for the catch and climbed high into a tree to catch the creature. Craneneck who was waiting in camp after a long day of partols. She had been with him the entire day but she had asked him to catch something while she made her way back to camp. Wolfpaw had been excited for the first time in a long while. He glanced up at the sky. It was dusk and he could already see a few stars.

- Are you watching me now, he asked into the air. His chest tightened when he thought of his mother and fathers death just a few moons ago. It had been unbearable for him to lose the ones that stood him the closest. It had been a few moons when he hadn't left his den and had just morend their death until they came and said their goodbyes'. Wolfpaw tried to go back to normal but he couldn't. He wasn't that energetic, talkative apprentice who sometimes had a hard time to think before he acted. Now he was a calm, quiet cat who never acted on emotions. Wolfpaw saw how much Craneneck missed her old apprentice. He talked the most to her as she stood him the closest now. He had grown apart from the younger apprentices. Juniperpaw, Blackpaw Crimsonpaw, Missingpaw, Nightpaw and Swallowpaw. Nightpaw and Swallowpaw were the oldest of the others only being younger than him. Not much younger was Crimsonpaw and Missingpaw who were littermates and only a moon younger than Nightpaw and Swallowpaw. Juniperpaw, who was a medicine cat apprentice, was the youngest alongside her littermate Blackpaw. Wolfpaw was a quiet cat nowadays and he often wasn't a part of any conversation. When he had been asked why he was so quiet he had simply replied ''when I have something to say you will know'' and that was it. No cat had asked him about it again after that.''

Soo I didn't really know what to do with this chapter so it just became a little more Wolfpaw backstory. Tell me in the comment if you want a Wolfpaw story when I am done with Robinrunners lost heart. :D
