With a book in his hand, Frigate went to the Magician Tower. There were barely any people yet nearby as it was still dark outside. He, who was assigned to infiltrate the Magic Country, had been trying his best. He attended the magic academy with a scholarship and reached the top in no time and graduated with the quickest time in history.

He was branded as a genius and was given a title of a scholar. He was currently working as one of the Court Magician of the country. Thanks to that, he was able to read the whole magic archive of the country.

Ever since he received the news of Ren got sealed, he started studying about ancient, divine, and forbidden spells for the sake freeing his lord. He would spend most of the day for learning the spell in the morning and practiced it in the afternoon.

“Well, if it isn’t Frigate-sensei.”

An old man greeted him. He was an old man with long white beard, thick eyebrows, and slanted eyes. He wore ash colored robe and was holding a wooden cane in his hand. Frigate stopped and turned his face toward the old man.

“Oh, Chief Allen. Good Morning.”

Frigate greeted.

“Good morning. You’re always early and stayed late every day. Your curiosity on mystery of magic is indeed the most splendid one.”

Allen said while brushing his beard.

“Thank you for the compliment, Chief.”

Frigate bowed.

“So, about my offer on the other day…”

Allen was trying to ask but Frigate stopped him.

“I can’t say yes yet. I’m sorry.”

He said.

“I see… It’s a shame. There are a lot of new students who are aiming to become your disciples, Frigate-sensei.”

Allen said.

“Disciple huh? I can’t say I’m adept at teaching others. Even during my graduation presentation there were too many question asked as I couldn’t explain them properly at the presentation.”

Frigate said. Allen sighed.

“That’s because you used such advanced logic and terms in your presentation. Of course any ordinary teacher and student would be confused.”

He said.

“That’s why I can’t accept any disciple.”

Frigate said confidently.

“But, if there is a student who can understand your theories without additional explanation, would you take one?”

Allen said.

“Well, I wonder about that. Depending on his personality too. If he’s an opposite of me, I doubt I can teach him anything.”

Frigate said with an attempt to refuse.

“Then, there’s one student which fit those terms.”

Allen said.

“Send me his documents later. I’ll skim through it and decide it later.”

Frigate said.

“In that case, why don’t you meet him directly?”

Allen asked. He glanced at the door which led to his office. Frigate followed his line of sight and saw the door was opening. A single youth came out. He was wearing white lab coat instead robe. Under the robe, there was fine clothing which mostly used by wealthy merchant or noble. But, the most distinguishing part of his was the large afro hair on his head.

“Nice to meet you, Frigate-sensei. I am Haruhide Haruta, the Hero of Wisdom.”

The youth introduced. Frigate was speechless.

“This is might be too heavy responsibility you’re giving me, Chief.”

Frigate said.

“So, you’re refusing?”

Allen asked. His expression gave an impression that he might lose his position if he refused. Having no more choice, Frigate sighed.

“I got it already. I’ll take him as a disciple. Though, I don’t know if I can teach him properly.”

He said.

“Good. Then, Hero-sama, this is Frigate, the man that will be your mentor from now on.”

Allen said. Haruta bowed toward Frigate.

“I’ll be in your care, Sensei.”

He said. Frigate scratched his head.

“Then, me too. I’ll be in your care. My teaching might be unfitting and stray off from any curriculum so if you’re troubled or confused just say so. And if you’re uncomfortable with my teaching, you can ask Chief Allen for a change.”

Frigate said.

“Oi oi, you’re giving up already?”

Allen retorted.

“Just a precaution. My path indeed strayed a lot from the basic after all.”

Frigate said. Allen sighed tiredly.

“Just whatever you say. Then, I’ll take my leave. I leave the rest to you, Frigate-sensei.”

Allen said before leaving.

“So, what’s the plan today, Sensei?”

Haruta asked. Frigate looked at him then glanced the grimoire in his hand.

“I guess we’ll start from this grimoire. You don’t need the basic right?”

Frigate said while showing him the grimoire in his hand. Haruta’s eyes sparkled. He looked quite interested.

“This magic might be useful for my research.”

Haruta said.

“Research?”

Frigate asked.

“Yes, my research is about the Implementation of Kamen Rider System in Fantasy World.”

Haruta said cheerfully. Frigate who didn’t know what it means could only affirm it and praised him. He felt tired all sudden and starting from that time, he was forced to teach the Hero of Wisdom and helped his research occasionally.
