Not wasting anymore time, let's get started!

*transport ship, nearby Plantation 13, (Y/N) POV*

Me, Ryuko and Zero Two are sitting next to each other. When I was recovering from the lost of my car, Ryuko saw that Zero started to behave weird, colder.

Zero Two: "I wanna take a bath"

Ryuko: "Yeah, we kinda didn't had much time to wash after that mission at Plantation 33"

(Y/N): "That was one Moho, not big deal"

Zero Two then started to sniff herself. She looked over to us

Zero Two: "Friends, how do I smell?"

Ryuko: "You are fine Zero, when we arrive we will take a bath at Mistilteinn" 

Dr.Franxx: "Sheesh, what a high maintenance girls"

(Y/N): "You will go there girls, I will check if Heliconia is alright after our last mission"

Dr.Franxx: "No need (Y/N), Heliconia was checked before we boarded"

Zero Two and Ryuko looked over the window

Zero Two: "Does Plantation 13 have an ocean?"

Ryuko: "That would be cool, but I don't think they would fit it there"

Zero Two: "I wanna swim in some clear ocean water"

Nana: "Sorry to say, but code 006 is right, there is no ocean there. Won't a shower do?"

Zero Two: "I'm in the mood for a swim"

I leaned over to Ryuko

(Y/N): "Why does Zero behave like this?" I whispered

Ryuko: "I don't know, maybe because of rumors about her. We told her to don't mind them but still" she whispered back

We looked back at our friend to see her licking herself

Zero Two: "I hate how I taste"

(Y/N): "Zero Two, is something wrong?"

Ryuko: "Yeah, after we boarded your behavior did a full turn"

Zero Two: "I just... wanted to swim in the ocean... nothing more"

'She is scared of how will parasites react to her. Especially after quite gruesome death of code 351 two weeks ago. After that code 081 was taking his place. Let's say he was quite beaten after his second ride'

Zero Two looked out the window again

Zero Two: "Oh, found one"

*3rd POV, Mistilteinn of Plantation 13, boarding house*

Inside the house in Platnation's 13 mistilteinn, Zorome, Futoshi and Miku are talking about 'The Partner Killer' and 'The Reapers'

Futoshi: "Partner Killer and Reapers?"

Zorome: "Apparently, the girl has horns and fangs, and any parasite that rides with her will have her blood sucked and die after the third time, without fail. And Reapers, they are merciless to any opponent they face. They have been active for a month and have a klaxosaur kill count similar to experienced squads. Their FranXX is all black, and is using scythe as a weapon. No one saw it's pistil or stamen in person. Both of them are supposed to be a killing machines"

Futoshi: "Wait! They are a single FranXX and have a kill count of the whole squad? Yikes, I don't want to ride with the partner killer and for sure I don't want to get on Reapers bad side"

Miku: "Surely, they are both rumors"

Zorome: "It's true! Someone actually overheard security talking about them!"

In the corner of the room, Ichigo is trying to contact Hiro. Goro walked over to her

Goro: "Ichigo. Did you get a hold of Hiro?"

Ichigo: "Nope. Not a trace"

Zorome: "Hey... So is he gonna stay here after all?"

Futoshi: "But he didn't attend today's briefing. Maybe that means he is gonna turn down the chance? "

Kokoro: "Hiro's going to leave? That's so sad"

Ikuno: "But if he doesn't, where would that leave Naomi? She got caught up in his mess"

Mitsuru: "I say Hiro's showing real integrity. It must be hard for him to face us after what happened, too. Spare a thought for how he feels"

Miku: "God, how forced"

Goro: "Are you okay with this, Ichigo?"

Ichigo: "That idiot!"

*Back with (Y/N), (Y/N) POV*

Dr.Franxx: "Good grief. A transport plane's seats are too hard for an old man like me. Can't we travel some other way?"

(Y/N): "Age really is getting to you Doctor, you are getting grumpy"

Dr. Franxx: "Don't judge me my boy. If you will live to my age..."

Ryuko: "Yeah, yeah, in your times things were easier" 

Nana: "We don't have many options when it comes to transporting two FranXX"

*small timeskip*

We are all riding an escalator

Dr. Franxx: "Is Hachi well?"

Nana: "He's been asked to speed up the children's training. After all, this will be the first trail run for the unit we are using this time"

Dr. Franxx: "I see"

Nana: "May I ask you something, Doctor? Why run that test case here? And with such a makeshift team, no less?"

Dr. Franxx: "Something has been bothering me. Although the geezers in APE might not understand it"

Nana: "So you have something in mind? Oh and please do attend the startup ritual"

Dr. Franxx: "I know. All that aside, I see our problem child has already gone missing"

'Damn it Zero Two, you can't wait?'

Nana and the others looked around, while me and Ryuko just snicker

Ryuko: "Well, she got them"

(Y/N): "That's Zero for you"

Nana started panicking

Nana: "What?! But she was just here... huh? Where?"

Ryuko poked my side and pointed down. 

Ryuko: "There she is"

Dr. Franxx: "Good observation, dear"

We all looked where Ryuko was pointing, to see Zero Two spinning her hat and smirking at us

081: "Damn it. She is running off again"

(Y/N): "Stay here, 081. We will find her. Ryuko, you coming?"

Ryuko: "Right behind you" We jumped down and followed Zero Two

After a ride to the bird cage and some time searching around we can't find her

Senketsu: "Didn't she said she wanted to swim?"

Neko: "Yeah, maybe there is a lake here?"

Ryuko: "But where?"

(Y/N): "Maybe parasites inside the house will know"

Ryuko: "Sure, it wont hurt to try"

We walked to the house and knocked on the door. Only to be met with nothing

Ryuko: "Maybe they have a briefing?"

We heard a talk upstairs

(Y/N): "Nope" I opened the door and walked up the stairs with Ryuko right behind me

Ryuko: "Love, maybe you should shrunk your scythe? They could be scarred"

(Y/N): "Sure, and no talking to our Kamuis in public" I get my scythe and shrunk her to a size of the pedant. Then I shoved it to my pocket

We walked to the source of the sound and knocked on the doors. We are met with fairly fresh squad, judging by their age. Four boys, four girls. A tall blond guy wearing glasses. Another, shorter with curly hair who is sprawled out on one of the couches. A third larger boy holds some food and has light brown hair. Finally, a boy with dark brown hair and a scowl stands in the corner. Next we spotted the girls. One with dark red pigtails, next to her was a girl with platinum blonde hair that are waist long. A girl with emerald eyes and blue hair, with one bang covering here eye and finally a girl in glasses with purple hair.

(Y/N): "Hey, we are wondering if maybe you saw a girl in here, pink hair, cyan eyes..."

Ryuko: "Red uniform, and she have a headband with red horns" she told about Zero's horns as a headband to not scare those parasites

Then this large boy spoken

???: "Did you said horns?"

(Y/N): "Yup she did. Did you see her? And if not is there any water source like lake or river nearby?"

Then a girl with blue hair spoken

???: "No we haven't, but there is a lake on the west site of Mistilteinn"

(Y/N): "Right, sorry to interrupt"

Ryuko: "Yeah, we will be going so, bye"

And we walked out of the house. I talked to Ryuko

(Y/N): "Nice try not to scare them, but it seems futile"

Ryuko: "Bite me, it is most specific part of Zero Two's appearance"

Senketsu: "They were scarred for sure, but not only because of your friend"

Ryuko: "And how is that Senketsu?"

Senketsu: "They were talking about 'Reapers' too"

(Y/N): "They are... scared of us... Don't make me laugh Senketsu, we won't hurt them"

Ryuko: "We have a mission to save them, not kill them. We need to earn their trust then"

(Y/N): "Sure"

We walked over to the lake to see Zero Two standing over some parasite

Zero Two: "How would you like to be my Darling?" she asked in a sweet tone

(Y/N): "Zero Two! Get off him"

Zero Two: "You are no fun friend, I was just swimming!"

Ryuko: "Zero, you can't just run off like that. We would get here sooner or later."

I walked over to the parasite and helped him up

(Y/N): "You alright man?"

???: "Yeah. I'm good"

(Y/N): "You are a cadet. So this welcoming ceremony tomorrow is for you, right? Sorry for her behavior. I hope you weren't bothered"

???: "It's okay... She told me she wanted to be my partner..."

'Shit, I can't let him ride with Zero, uncle Werner said this squad is a part of his plan'

(Y/N): "Let me tell you one thing, she is a pistil that not everyone can handle, you better stay away from her for now"

I walked over to Ryuko and Zero and started to walk away

???: "Your names! What are your names?"

We stopped and Zero started speaking

Zero Two: "Names? Do we parasites even have names?" This parasite get his head down "But, well my code is 002. But my friends and everyone else calls me Zero or Zero Two" She walked away and I turned to him

(Y/N): "Sorry, she isn't herself today. My name is (Y/N), code 004"

Ryuko: "I'm Ryuko, code 006, see you soon bud" and with that me and Ryuko followed Zero Two. We get near her and she turned to us

Zero Two: "Friends, I think it's him..."

(Y/N): "Him?"

Zero Two: "My Darling. He had the same scent and taste"

Ryuko: "He doesn't seem to recognize you, Zero"

(Y/N): "APE must have erased his memories. Maybe recreate what you did with him in the garden and he will remember"

Zero Two: "You think that would work?"

Ryuko: "It doesn't hurt to try. And if he wouldn't remember you after that, well, me and (Y/N) have some tricks to make him"

(Y/N): "It will work. And I won't torture a poor kid Ryuko! You know the plan"

Ryuko: "You think I was going to tell you to torture him! No, I was thinking about your tricks with Life Fibers"

(Y/N): "Oh that.." she punched me in the head

Ryuko: "Idiot!"

(Y/N): "But your idiot"

Zero Two: "Was your relationship always like that?" she said after laughing at our antics

(Y/N): "Maybe. We should head back" And with that we all walked back to uncle and Nana

*timeskip, next day*

Me, Ryuko and Zero Two are sitting outside of our FranXX, overlooking the ground Ryuko had her head on my shoulder

Ryuko: "Even if the surface is a wasteland, the sky is still beautiful"

(Y/N): "It is"

Us three decided to not come to initiation for new squad 13. We were fulfilling the role of some type of 'security' for Papa and the rest of the council

'I swear. If they wouldn't kill uncle Werner and Inumuta I would kill him right here right now'

Zero Two then stood up and looked off in the distance

Zero Two: "I smell Klaxosaur"

Me and Ryuko got up and instantly changed Senketsu and Neko into our parasite's suits

Senketsu: "Zero Two is right, I can sense them nearby"

(Y/N): "But how?"

Neko: "Like Life Fibers, Klaxosaurs have their natural frequency. We can sense it"

Ryuko: "Stop questioning and start connecting!"

I walked back to Heliconia's cockpit and closed her doors. Then I get into the position and connected to Ryuko. I looked over her headpiece to see our score is stable and all systems are working. Soon Heliconia's face sprung to life

Heliconia: "Is everything good on your end (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Sure thing Blueberry, now lets get this over..." We looked at Strelitzia to see her transforming into stampede.

Heliconia: "There goes another stamen for Zero Two. I didn't liked him, another asshole trying to prove something"

(Y/N): "They all were like this and payed their price. I just hope she won't hurt herself too bad like last time"

Strelitzia rushed towards Klaxosaur while I and Ryuko rocketed right behind her. Plantation defenses started to fire at it while Klaxosaur just swiped them right away. Strelitzia was right behind it while we tried to get near them

(Y/N): "Stupid stampede and it's stupid animal like atributes" 

Heliconia: "Hey, look, someone is on the bridge!" Heliconia pointed to some parasite running in the same direction as us

(Y/N): "Shit, hope he will made it alive, we have a Moho here to deal first and later an angry stampede!" We rounded the corner to see Klaxosaur getting it's head into a garage for Franxx. 

Computer: "Garage 2 damaged, unfit for housing Delphinium"

Klaxosaur went to charge a blast, trying to destroy the Franxx inside the garage, but before he could Strelitzia tackled it to the side. She jumped on top of it and started to bite and claw it. We went right behind her.

(Y/N): "Ryuko! We need to cut his legs!"

Heliconia: "Right away!" we boosted towards Klaxosaur, Heliconia with her scissor scythe in hand. With one swipe motion we cut one of it's legs. He swiped us back with another and went to charge another blast.

Heliconia: "Ouch. It kinda hurt"

(Y/N): "Nothing broken?"

Heliconia then opened and closed her fists and swung her legs.

Heliconia: "Yeah..." We looked over to see Strelitzia trying to block a blast from the Klaxosaur "Zero! Get out of the way!" Then we heard a loud boom only to see Strelitzia flying into the plantation

Heliconia: "That's it! No more games! (Y/N)!"

(Y/N): "Coming! Neko, like we trained"

Neko: "Right" I concentrated and soon after Heliconia's scythe was on fire

*back on the ground, 3rd POV*

Everyone was looking at Heliconia, with her scythe on fire

Zorome: "Wait! That Franxx! That weapon! They can't be!"

Futoshi: "The Reapers..."

*back with Heliconia, (Y/N) POV*

Me and Ryuko were trying to slash the Klaxosaur to expose it core. With every hit it was screaming as it's body was burning"

Heliconia: "We are near the core, get ready love"

(Y/N): "Right honey"

But before we can do anything we were blasted away. Klaxosaur started to rush plantation only to slam it's head where Strelitzia was

Heliconia and (Y/N): "Zero Two!"

Then Klaxosaur was lifted high in the air. Me and Ryuko as Heliconia had a wide smile on our faces

Heliconia: "We forgot it's Zero we are talking about"

(Y/N): "Yup, but I wonder who is piloting with her"

Heliconia: "Doesn't matter. All that matter that she is safe"

*back in the ground 3rd POV*

Dr. Franxx: "When negative and positive, the male and female factors combine, and their hearts become one, the iron maiden will reveal her true form. You already saw Heliconia in action and now..." Strelitzia meanwhile changed into her human form. Heliconia walked over to her

Heliconia: "So 081 is dead?"

Strelitzia: "He was just another weakling"

Dr. Franxx: "Now those are Franxxs! How truly beautiful! You two are the best, Heliconia! Strelitzia!" 

Nana: "But who is piloting it?"

*(Y/N) POV*

(Y/N): "He sure was, now to end this..." 

Heliconia looked at Strelitzia as she looked over at Heliconia and they both nodded. 

(Y/N): "Scissor Scythe, Decapitation mode!"

Heliconia's scythe turned into a lance similar to Strelitzia's spear. Her and Heliconia took a swing and throw their weapons at Klaxosaur. I pushed the controls to rush it, and Strelitzia was right next to us. When we get to it we pushed in our weapons further. 

(Y/N): "Ryuko! Zero! Now!"

Heliconia and Strelitzia: "Yhm! Game Over!" they both pushed the button on their weapons and soon Klaxosaur was burning from the inside and then it exploded into a blue mist. It's core was impaled on Strelitzia's spear. We stood there with Strelitzia's and Heliconia's weapons pointed down, allowing the core to slide down. Then our weapon transformed back into the scythe. Heliconia's face appeared in the cockpit on the private channel

Heliconia: "Well, love, another win for us"

(Y/N): "Sure thing Blueberry, haha"

Heliconia: "Huh? What's so funny?"

(Y/N): "You got haha, whole face in Klaxosaur's blood. You look literally like a blueberry"

Heliconia: "Oh, shut up"

(Y/N): "You love me and you know it. Now I wonder what's up with Sats and Koru. I hope they are fine"

Heliconia: "They are for sure, now disconnect so we can kiss before any of them sees us"

(Y/N): "Yes, ma'am" I disconnected and Ryuko stood up from her pedestal. She walked over to me and sat on my lap facing me.

Ryuko: "You know, when we connect it feels like we are becoming one, just like..."

(Y/N): "I know, now where weMhhh" Ryuko just leaned in and we both kiss for about a minute.

Ryuko: "I missed this. This whole 'no emotions, love, and relationships' bullshit will hopefully end soon"

(Y/N): "Not only you missed it, well, we better say hi to the rest" I pressed the button and Heliconia's face plate get down. I got my Crimson Needle on my back while Ryuko opened the door and walked over to the edge and looked down

(Y/N): "Seems like they are shocked..."

Ryuko: "They are, we met them yesterday and they talked to us like we were any other parasites. And... you have your weapon on your back now... Idiot"

(Y/N): "Hey, where do you think are pockets in this stamen suit?"

Neko: "I could gave you one but I decided not to"

(Y/N): "Why?"

Neko: "Guess"

(Y/N): "Still angry?"

Neko: "Yes I am! Not only because you nearly killed yourself but also because of the steam press you promised and I just remembered it!"

(Y/N): "Oh my God! Neko get over it. I'm fine, you two are fine, and if they have an iron here I will iron you as soon as possible, deal?"

Neko: "hmm... okay deal. But never try that again"

We sat down on the edge and looked at the sky

*3rd POV*

Everyone on the ground was looking up at Heliconia and Strelitzia

Ichigo: "That's a Franxx, the kind of robot we will pilot"

Miku: "Looks like the rumor about Reapers was true"

Zorome: "I told you! They are real... wait is that..." He looked up the Heliconia to see a (H/C) boy with orange patch on his right side  and a girl with black hair with red highlight in her left bang. Both seemed older than them

Futoshi: "These two came to our house yesterday and asked about Partner Killer... we met the Reapers in person..."

(Y/N) and Ryuko looked to their right to see Zero Two exiting with...

(Y/N): "That's this parasite from the lake we met yesterday...

Ryuko: "Her Darling..."

Ichigo: "Hiro?"

Zorome: "What is he doing there?"

Goro: "Wait, are those..."

Miku: "Horns?"

Futoshi: "You mean that not only Reapers are here but also..."

Ichigo: "The Partner Killer..."

Nana: "Let me introduce you. Those are Code 002, Code 004 and Code 006. 002 is
