Leo walked over to the kitchen and placed Ej on the counter.

As expected he pushed himself back to the counter shaking, his body pressed up on the wall.

Leo sighed, totally confused, he eyed the room, maybe something could help him..

He saw bananas on the other counter, they were ripe which meant they were good. He smirked as he reached to grab them. He turned back as he started to peel it, he noticed the child staring up at him.

Once he peel a bit back he broke off a small piece of the fruit, carefully bringing it up to the boy. The child looked up in surprise as his eyes widened.

Leo gave him a small smirk.

Ej shakily went to grab it after Leo told him it was okay.

He held onto it in confusion. What was it for?

"It's fine..you can eat it kid."

Ej slowly took a bite.

It tasted...good.

He looked up at the man looking down on him, a bit less fear on his face.

Leo smiled.

"What's your name kid?"

Ej paused, as he took a deep breath.

"E-Ej."
