When the three of them arrive they didn't see the grumpy old master so she asked in wonder at his disciple.

"Master, where is the old master?" she asked doubtfully, she clearly told him that she would leave today so how could he not see them off?

"master has some matters to attend to, though he left something for you." he said and handed her a ring.

"r-really?" Zhan Wemei was so excited, her eyes shone brightly. She saw this ring used by the old master and she likes it so much, she keeps pestering him to give it to her but he would just snort and chase her away. She couldn't believe that he finally gave in.

"hmm, the master also says to hand this letter to his friend master Xuan in the southern moon empire's capital city once you arrive there" his lips twitch seeing her greedy look before handing her a letter with a seal.

"Alright, I may not arrive there sooner though" she muttered while scratching her head.

"that's the least I could do for her." the old master said softly.
