Zhan wemei look around curiously, she was feeling dizzy before so she didn't pay attention to her surroundings.

She still couldn't believe it, she actually reincarnated to an ancient era where some things are a little crude.

She couldn't help but reddened in embarrassment when she remembered how she died, it was just embarrassing and stupid. She could imagine the headlines to be, 'a rich young lady died because she professed herself a genius'.

"what are these? So plain, this Zhan wemei is really poor. How could they live like this?" she mumbled disdainfully as she throws those things away with twitching eyes full of disdain.

After going over their stuff she suddenly wanted to cry, she couldn't find anything flashy and fashionable nor some sort of valuable. She liked flashy and shiny things so much, how could she live poorly in this life? She's unreconciled. 

She found a broken mirror and check her appearance. "my face looks beautiful, just not properly taken care of. My body is also drop-dead gorgeous, my hands are just full of callous though" she sighs and sighs and complains about every minor detail.

"mother, I'm going dizzy because of you" Zuan Xi who just brought a bowl of congee pouted, his mother was really acting weird. She keeps pretending to be a rich young lady, she doesn't even have a penny.

"I'm just saying, there is good stuff out there yet we only have bad stuff. We should have great ambitions" she said like a scholar.

"..." Zuan Xi and Zian Xi look at each other speechlessly. They didn't bother responding to her as they didn't get it.

"Okay mother, before that you should eat this first" Zian Xi dismissed her as she pointed her lips to the bowl of congee.

"oh my children are so sweet, don't worry mother would take care of the two of you from now on" she smiled as she said proudly as she stirs the congee.

She stirred and stirred but it was still plain rice. She widened her eyes and blurted. "So---" she was about to complain when she noticed two pairs of eyes eyeing her lovingly. "ahem, it's so delicious. Mother is so proud of you guys" she said as she forcibly swallowed the plain congee.

"hehe, it's because mother is just unreliable" Zian Xi mumbled with a smile.

Zhan wemei almost drop the bowl of congee when she heard that. "cough! Cough! I'll change from now on" she swears while choking.

The two look at each other but didn't quite believe her, it almost sounded traumatizing to them. Every time she says that something bad would happen.

"Don't worry mother, we still love you and would look after you." Zuan Xi said reassuringly, though he has kind intentions it broke Zhan Wemei's heart. Does she really look that unreliable?

She felt aggrieved as she snorted when she thought of the previous Zhan Wemei she was indeed a little unreliable. 

"hmmp, you'll see" she muttered as she finished the plain rice congee. Her eyes sparkled when she remembered that there was a plot of land that Zhan Wemei used to plant vegetables and crops outside.
