"Lukas!" I screeched, as he fell to the ground.

"Jesse! Go! I'll be fine!" He yelled back.

He wasn't 'fine.' His arm was bleeding from the soldier's swords. Blood dripped down, making me stand still in shock. "Jesse, watch out!" Lukas yelled a little too late, as I was already falling near him.

I tried getting up, but I was weak. Ivor probably ran off with Petra. Good. He's smart. Petra is strong. We'll be out in no time.

"Stay down! Don't touch anything! Don't build anything!" The guard yelled, in his deep voice.

"Lukas, are you okay?!" I expected him to look hurt, but instead he was staring at me with worry, as if he was perfectly fine.

"What about you, Jesse? Are you fine?" Lukas scooted across the floor to me, and sat up.

"I said stay down, deliquent!" Lukas looked to the guard angrily. "And let her bleed to death? Rather not."

The guard hesitantly let him tend to me. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around me, having it cover my stomach. Unknowingly, I was bleeding.

"Hey,"Lukas looked over me, while I stared at his arm.

"You didn't have to do that."

"Jesse, don't do that," He sighed.

"Do what?" I asked, intrigued.

"You needed help. You were bleeding. I will help you any way I can. Okay?"

I tried breathing, but a sharp twinge of pain shot through me. Instead, I nodded, not making eye contact with him.

"Jesse." A new voice came. Darkness filled me and I knew it was Aiden.

"Don't talk to me, you idiot!"

"Now come on Jesse. It's clear I have the upper hand. Why don't we go somewhere more....." He smirked,"Ah nevermind. I could just kiss you here."

And he pushed his lips against mine.

I scooted back quickly, but he wouldn't stop advancing.

"Let go of her Aiden!" Lukas pushed Aiden off, but fell onto me, specifically on my lips. We broke the kiss quickly, blushing. "You can't just take advantage of her like that. She's hurt!" Lukas brushed off the last event.

"I can do whatever I want. Take these two to the prison cell."

Lukas grabbed my hand, making Aiden furious, but I just turned a light pink and followed the guards into the castle.

I wobbled and twisted, but managed to keep my balance. "Jesse, be careful, you are still hurt."

"I'm fine Lukas." But I wasn't.

The next few minutes were spent with me limping and coughing as Lukas looked worriedly at me. Finally, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and carried me bridal style.

"Jesse?" Lukas asked, after minutes of silence.

"Lukas?"

"What are we going to do?" His deep blue eyes stared into my emerald ones. Fear and worry took away their usual shine. But in a little spot, their was anger and hostility. That was all glazed by sadness and love. It was time to get revenge on Aiden.

"Whatever we have to." I replied. A slight growl came from my throat and Lukas smiled at the fire in my eye.
