On the Parisian streets, Moolak fires at the Parisians and turns them into coins inside his vault.

Moolak: (laughs) My money-making lasers are gonna make me even richer!

Shadow Moth: (from his lair) Bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous, Moolak!

Moolak: Depends on how much these trinkets are worth!

Shadow Moth: (from his lair) How much is your power which I can take back from you in an instant worth to you?

Moolak: (groans) A guy can't even strike a bargain these days! *Suddenly, Ryuko's whirlwind strikes from outside of Moolak's vault and electrifies it. The superhero team chases after Moolak on the rooftops. * Huh? What was that?

Ryuko: That didn't work.

Moolak: Ha! You'll never get your hands on my lucky coin!

Ladybug: Rena Rouge, create an illusion.

Rena Rouge: Got it. *She blew on her flute. * Mirage! *She summoned an illusion of people and Moolak started blasting the illusion, but instead of turning them into coins, they disappeared. *

Moolak: What the... Hey! This is fool's gold! You tricked me!

Ladybug: We have to get to Moolak if we're gonna defeat him! Pegasus, use your power now!

Pegasus: Voyage!! *He attempts to enter the portal he's made, only to be blocked by a pile of coins as Carapace, Viperion, Emperor, and Queen Crustacean run past him. He coughs out the coins inside his mouth. * I can't teleport! The safe is so filled up with coins, that there's no room!

Vesperia: It'd be simpler just to cataclysm the whole safe!

Ladybug: I know! I already left I don't know how many messages for Cat Noir! *Dr. Zap twirled his electric lasso and threw it at Moolak, but no effect to it. *

Dr. Zap: Electric zap! *He shoots out electric bolts at the safe, but no effect. * Nothing. Dang it! *Queen Crustacean scowled and twirled her lances. *

Queen Crustacean:  Ka-boom! *She pointed them out at the safe, but it didn't help open the safe. * That failed.

Red Wing: I'll try to melt the safe. *He hovered in front of Moolak and shot out his firepower, but the safe didn't melt. * Hey, it didn't melt. *Moolak laughs evilly. *

Moolak: Ever heard of titanium gold? Nothing can ever melt this safe. You'll never get my lucky coin.

Red Wing: That didn't work. *Inside the Grand Palais, the interview is still on hold. Adrien overlooks the battle above the clear roof of the venue. *

Moolak: (laughs) I'm getting so rich!!

Nathalie: (from the earpiece) Adrien, your father is counting on you! *Adrien sighed and looked ahead at the press. *

Adrien: Next question!

On the Parisian streets, the battle continues. Ladybug continues to contact Cat Noir but fails.

Cat Noir's voicemail: You can purr your message after the "meow"! Meow!

Blue Feather: No sign of Cat Noir yet?

Ladybug: No. The best bet is to do it without him. Since this wasn't the first time. Lucky charm! *She threw her yo-yo up, a swarm of magical Ladybugs appeared, and a Fire truck appeared, it dropped in front of Ladybug. * A firetruck?

Mister Quills: So, you can summon vehicles? What's next, an airplane?

Ladybug: Don't jinx it. *She comes up with a plan to use her Lucky Charm. Her Lucky vision highlights Moolak, the firetruck's ladder, Vesperia, Polymouse, Purple Tigress, Viperion, and Carapace. * Hmm... I got it. *Moolak started flying away, but Ladybug hurls her yo-yo around Moolak, same with Eagle with her rollboarer. *

Eagle: Got him.

Ladybug: Gear up, guys!

Polymouse: Multitude! *She multiplies and Moolak fires at her clones, while Purple Tigress and Pigella throw Vesperia toward Moolak. *

Vesperia: Venom! *She pulled the spinning top, formed a bee stinger, and started flying down to Moolak. *

Moolak: Nice try! *He tries firing at Vesperia, but the Firetruck rolls by and stops. *

Carapace: Shell-ter! *He points his shield out at Vesperia, protecting her from Moolak's shots. *

Moolak: Blasted super nerds!

Carapace: Unshield! *He opens the shield and Vesperia immobilizes the safe and bounces off. *

Ladybug: Viperion, try every possible combination!

Viperion: You can do this. Second Chance! *He tries the codes from 0000 to 0003 but fails, reverting time with each try. *

Ladybug: Viperion, try every possible combination!

Viperion: You can do this. Second Chance! *He tries the code 0099, which grants access to open the safe. * Jackpot! And it only took me a hundred tries! *He opens the safe and coins fall out, along with Moolak. Ladybug catches the coin. *

Moolak: No! *Ladybug cracks the coin and frees the Akuma. In the Grand Palais, the interview is still on hold. Adrien overlooks the Miraculous Ladybug above the clear roof of the venue., grinning. *

Journalist: About your new commercial... *Meanwhile, Moolak de-transforms to Bob Roth. *

Su-Han: This really like takes the cake!

Ladybug: Grand Master Su-Han?

Su-Han: Nine! You used twenty Miraculouses to defeat a single villain when Cat Noir could have just used his Cataclysm!

Ladybug: I had to; Cat Noir was missing!

Su-Han: What do you mean missing? You can't just let the holder of the most powerful Miraculous go about as he pleases! What if he started making his own decisions, or acting them out? Like Shadow Moth!
